It was a rainy night when my friends and I decided to have some cold beer and cocktails. We've decided to go to St. Patrick's and it was my first time to try this drinking hub in Kapitolyo. I've been passing by St. Patrick whenever I go to Silantro or RUB but never had a chance to check the place. I can always see from the outside that the place is small and always jam-packed.

So when we arrived there, the place was really kinda small and it can only accommodate a few people but good thing is, that night it wasn't as jam-packed as I thought it was and the place has a homey ambiance so it was really appropriate for chilly nights. 128521

We were easily accommodated by the waiter when we entered the hub. He handed us the menu and their variety of food are simple dishes so you will not have a hard time to choose.

Since we just came from a dinner, we just ordered beer and cocktail. Local beers cost around 60-70 pesos and Imported beers cost around 100+ pesos which are kinda cheap compared to other drinking hubs around the metro.

We ordered 2 mugs of beer cost around 200+ pesos I supposed, which is not bad for its quantity. We also ordered 2 orders of Amoretti Sour and Long Island cocktails which cost 180+ pesos per glass.

Without our knowledge, they have everyday specials or promos for their drinks which you can enjoy every day. Luckily, we got buy 1 take 1 for the cocktails. So, we got to enjoy 4 glasses of Amoretti Sour and Long Island cocktails. Great deal!! 128076🏼

Overall, we enjoyed the night as well as the drinks. And, I definitely recommend this place if you opt to have a chill drinking sesh with your friends. 128077🏼128077🏼128077🏼

My friends and I have been planning to have dinner in Kapitolyo for months after realizing that our offices are practically neighbors. But since everyone’s so busy, we just can’t find time to do it. Until one Facebook post made it possible. Then again, K suddenly had to back. But since F and I were stressed that day, we still went for it.

Hello, St. Patrick's!

St. Patrick's was rather packed when we arrived. Originally, we planned on having dinner at Red Panda but we decided to change venues due to the desire to drink. [No, we are not alcoholics. Just so we’re clear. ;)]

The menu covers simple dishes so it wasn’t that hard for us to choose which ones to order. We opted for the following: Spam Chips (PHP160), Calamari (PHP180), Taco Bites (PHP180), and Shepherd’s Pie (PHP250). I went for a glass of Margarita (PHP180) while F ordered beer.

First served was the plate of Spam chips. It was simply deep fried thinly sliced Spam and it was superb! Okay, I’m a bit biased as I love Spam!

Next served was the Calamari. It was your typical calamari with yummy garlic mayo! I enjoyed the dip so much that I ate the carrot sticks! (And I hate carrots!)

The Taco Bites were awesome! It was slightly spicy but very tolerable. I enjoyed the flavorful chili con carne and the generous dose of cheese.

Yum! (Warning: This dish is messy to eat.)

The Shepherd’s Pie on the other hand was really filling. After a few spoonfuls, I had to stop. Well, that and because it was rather bland. F sprinkled it with hot sauce to add more flavor.

Please forgive the dirty fork.
My margarita was rather strong but if you want that slight kick, this is a must order drink. Plus, serving was pretty generous too!

I’ll definitely visit again in case I get stressed again.

After having a nightmare in Breakout PH, we headed over to a pub to watch Gilas game and have some beer. 127867

Everyone got a mug of beer (for a Php200+ I suppose) and having a good time because the place have this homey-vibe and whatnot.

Maybe this will be our go-to place when just chilling out.

We didn't try the food though, we just had drinks.

Beer was ok but the food server's face kinda intimidated us. She never smiled while attending to us. It's not pleasant seeing front liner people like her. You need to invest on people and oh, consider placing speakers and good music to attract more customers.

Good choice of drinks - I love how they have all my favorite whisky brands - Jameson, Glenlivet, Glenfiddich. Small place but homey, good ambiance. Tried their spam chips and it was everything I hoped it would be. :) one of the bartenders was medyo masungit lang.

Caramel beeeeeeer! I'm a caramel beer lover so two thumbs up to this bar for having that. They also have everyday specials or promo for their drink, which is really cool btw. You get to enjoy different booze type per day. And the most important of all, the feels of this bar. For me it's a bar yet it's home-like. You gotta love the crowd too! 128522128522128522

I can't gauge the particular crowd St. Patrick's serves. There are yuppies, hipsters, barkadas, and families. Local beer costs PhP 65 to 75, which is not that bad compared to other inuman place in Kapitolyo. (Chi-chie's is still the cheapest, tho!)

Service is ok.

Ambience was okay. Not too crowded and noisy. Prices were reasonable for local beers. Wasn't able to check the other beers/drinks since I didn't drink that night. Ordered for the Salisbury steak with mashed potato. We kept on following up on our order and they said it will just take a while. after one hour, they gave us complimentary chips because our order wasn't ready yet. The steak was then served after another 20mins or so. This is the longest time I've had to wait for food. And they didn't even tell us in the the first place that it will take some time for it to be ready. So verdict on the food: the mashed potato was good but I find the steak a bit tough. The flavor was there alright but not worth it.

Yay for affordable JD shots!! They had a promo when we went here. P180 buy 1 take 1 na. For our munchies we ordered calamari and fish and chips. Both were good! I also liked their playlist and the volume was just right. Not too loud. Perfect for chill nights.

The taco bites are good and lettuce-y. Great that they have salads on the menu! Skip the cocktails and go for a shot and a tonic water or diet coke for a good buzz with less calories.

I iust love the ambiance of this place. It's like a classic irish pub. Liquor is not expensive... I love it that they had appetizers like buttered popcorn... Instead of your usual sisig (although am sure they have that too. Hehe)

My officemates and I always go here (well, aside from other places in kapitolyo) to drink, unwind and eat. Recently, they have a happy hour promo - buy 1, take 1 beers from 5-8 - that we always get. If time have lapsed, we'll get their liter mug which is so sulit!

For food, we always get the St. Patrick's wings. I love it because its just the right amount of spice and sweetness which goes well with their ranch dip. Their potato wedges and taco bites are also filling and yummy!

The ambiance of the place resembles an Itish Pub. Its so chill here that we always go back to just have one too many drinks and tons of laughter and fun times.

Pint beer and wine night. I like this bar because the noise is just enough for good conversations to ensue.

In some bars kasi the music is turned up too loud. Good for partying, bad for catch ups.

Their house wine was cheap but actually smooth. Not bad ha.

Perfect night cap... If 3 wine bottles and 3 pint beer mugs count as one for the road. Hahaha 128514128514

Major effort to wake up early and go to Kapitolyo. 8 in the morning in a bar! For the Super Bowl! 127944 Too bad the game was not a close fight. And the halftime show wasn't as good as last year.

The bar is cozy, with two giant tvs. Reasonable price for food and drinks. 127867

Oh wow, Bar Hopper badge! I don't even drink that much. I just eat 128514
