Had dinner with my sister at this cozy and whimsical restaurant the other day.

We ordered:
Home Baked Chicken Parmasan (245pesos)
Stacy Jones (240pesos)

Both dishes were delicious and satisfied our hunger. 128523

Oh, one of those places that give you the OOT-Vibe (Out of town) ^^,

Rustic white interior, and a playful set up - this homey restaurant would be good for Saturday morning dates with friends, and your love.

STACY JONES, their best seller, was hearty to begin with. The portion was big and just enough to have you filled for breakfast. The tapa was flavorful, and wasn't gummy, thankfully! Perfect to pair with garlic rice and two eggs, cooked the way you like it!

MONKEY TOAST seemed rather ordinary (I can make waay better toasts, I swear by this) but of course, if you dont mind having a carb&&protein kind of breakfast, indulge in 4 thick slices of bread (frenchtoasted)-til-fluffy, smothered with peanut butter, bananas and chocolate chips. Strawberry reserves on the side, too!

ICED AMERICANO was served with perks-of-having-a-cute-paper-straw but lacking the espresso buzz and strength. Nonetheless worked as my neutralizer!

It was a morning well spent =)

Will be back for the restaurant beside it - SIP N GOGH! #LOOLOOables

Breakfast for dinner! 127860

We ordered 2 meals from the Lovin Spoonfuls Section: Rice'N Shine and Stacy Jones. Our server told us that these were their best sellers. The Stacy Jones was sirloin tapa served with eggs and garlic rice. On the other hand, the Rice'N Shine was garlic longganisa served with onion and tomato omelette and garlic rice. Both dished were good. 128523 The longganisa was too oily though. Anyway, since their service water was tap water, we ordered one Strawberry Iced Tea. 127865

The servers didn't mind us when we went inside the restaurant though. 128531 They only gave us the menu after 5-10 minutes.

Strawberry Buttermilk pancakes for dinner, sounds about right.

It was fluffy and soft, but a bit bland if you ask me. You really have to drizzle maple syrup and spread the strawberry jam for it to hit your tastebuds. I'd probably choose Mcdo pancakes with sausage over this any time.

The place is pretty quaint and cute though. The walls are decorated with different mediums that ho well together. They even have children's toys and books if you're with toddlers.

Service was a bit slow, considering we were the only ones there at around 8 PM.

pleasant surprise that stacy's serves good food. good thing a friend gave us the tip because we always got cakes from the place.

we tried their texas barbecue ribs & pot roast. the ribs were ok, but the pot roast was excellent. no surprise that it's one of their bestsellers. for dessert, we went for the root beer float. panalo. the fact that they use a&w was a good sign. we tried asking what brand of ice cream they were using as it tasted perfect with the root beer but the waitstaff said that they didn't know (probably didn't want to reveal their secret ingredient).

we're definitely going back. but we're sticking to the bestsellers first before we explore the rest of the menu.

Eggs Benedict was okay but the hollandaise sauce off. Too thick its almost like a paste, and they also went a little overboard on the lemon juice.

My partner lives around Capitol Hills area and on this particular night, we were in search of some place serene to enjoy the cool evening breeze. Stacy's hit the mark. The food was delicious and good value for money. We ordered Granny's Picnic Bowl, Layered Sausage and Potato Pie, and a slice of red velvet cake. The two dishes didn't disappoint especially Granny's Picnic Bowl.

But in this review, allow me to rave about their red velvet cake. It's no secret that I'm a huge fan of cakes. This particular one that they have is commendable for its clean and sweet/tangy taste. It's so moist and every layer has a generous spread of icing. We loved it so much that we tried to eat as little a bite as possible so we can enjoy it for much longer.

After we had out lunch, my friend and i decided to check out this sweet-looking cafe, Stacy's. This place reminds me of another cafe in makati. They have same ambience and same menu, maybe. Since we are full, we just ordered milkshakes and a piece of cake. I've always been a fan of vanilla milkshake at Php 115 so i got one for myself and my friend tried their triple chocolate milkshake at Php 115 (sorry forgot to take a picture of it). We also tried their chocolate cake at Php 110, i like the fact that their cake is moist unlike other cakes that turned out to be like sponge. It is a must visit place, it is also recommended for mommies since they have little garden at the corner of the resto where they can play. I like the cute tea pots and sprinkler toys for the kids. They also have free wifi for those who like to work. My friend and i had a great time and it's worth visiting. Try it! -xoxo-

My first visit to this resto wasn't a good experience. But I'm glad that I gave stacy's a second chance.

This place is perfect for bonding with ze girlfriends. Every corner of the resto was decorated with cuteness and girlishness.

They also have wide variety of menu items from all day breakfast to pasta dishes. We were served a complimentary cup of popcorn with marshmallow and pretzel while choosing our order. I opted for their bestseller martha's potroast (P285) slices of beef sirloin topped with gravy and sautéed mushroom, served with heart shaped rice and sliced corn and carrots.
My friend had their texas barbeque ribs. For dessert, we had the choco lava (P145) topped with vanilla ice cream with a drizzle of strawberry syrup. The vanilla ice cream complemented the chocolate well. Though I was expecting that there would be chocolate oozing. But it's ok 128513 it was good anyway.

Service was also a thumbs up, our food came immediately after we ordered.

i like stacy's coz the place is girly. best to dine here with girlfriends. everything is cute.

this location of stacy's is also awesome. i love the view. it's a bit drive from commonwealth though.

i like the free popcorn, marshmallows, pretzel, etc that they give for free. though the popcorn they gave us before was no longer crunchy coz maybe we were one of the last customers.

chicken with potato chips was good. serving was enough. parmesan chicken was good too. i like the heart shaped rice that came with the chicken. the toast was just okay. the friends like it. it was good for them.

overall the experience was good. brings out the girliness in me.

The food in Stacy's isn't the only thing that draws people to it. The ambience, design and service of Stacy's are also crowd-drawers. In fact, I think Rufa Gutierrez's daughters had a photoshoot here for the most recent Food magazine edition. To begin with, they provide us with complementary starters (popcorn, marshmallow and flavored pretzels). Although I'm not sure popcorn right before a meal is appropriate.

Anyway, according to my friends, their main course (Stacy's beef yakiniku) turned out to be pretty good. Their rice is shaped and served as a big heart (probably around 2 cups). I love how they have Blue Bunny ice cream that is usually only served in S&R; the price (P68) doesn't even fall very far from the price in S&R (P65). I got the Toasted Almond Fudge and found it to be pretty good but my other choice, Chunky Chocolate Chip might have been a better choice.

Wanna try a tastebuds-candy and eye-candy restaurant? Then, visit Stacy's! 978610084

I usually order the Big Breakfast Bangers but I wasn't too hungry last Friday so I decided to try out their Pumpkin Soup. And to say that I wasn't disappointed will be an understatement. Comfort food indeed! The soup had toasted bacon bits in it and it came with a slice of wheat bread. If you plan to get this one, I suggest you ask for extra parmesan and pepper to sprinkle on top, it makes it even more creamy. 9786

And of course, no visit to Stacy's is ever complete without having one of their Milkshakes. Their Pink Strawberry Milkshake is to die for! They actually use real strawberries; you can be sure there are no artificial flavors on your drink. 127847
