I was early on my appointment at VFS Global and saw this empty cafe (it was 7:00am) and decided to get brekky first.

I ordered the spinach omelette but it was not available. Darn. I kind of settled for a sandwich since I wanted something light and quick to prepare. Didn't want to end up being late for my appointment. I would have tried the breakfast plate if I wasn't in a hurry. I got Tomato pesto mozzarella sandwich and a cappuccino.

I was alone in the cafe so my ordered arrived rather quickly. Cappuccino was good! No sugar needed. Creamy and frothy. My sandwich was surprisingly yummy. Didn't know this combination is perfect for a sandwich. If this bakery-cafe was near my place, I would probably be here all the time.

if you find yourself in Makati at an ungodly hour and would rather wait for morning than venture home, this is the place to be. they are open 24hrs Mondays-Saturdays, up to 9pm on Sundays. i tried their cafe mocha and it's ok; decent serving size too. also tried their french toast with bacon & cheese. their version of the French toast is not what i wanted but i enjoyed it. my friends ordered the quiche and were quite happy with it. i am surely coming back.

Had a meeting here and ordered an Americano (regular php90) as well as their tomato, pesto and kesong puti sandwich (php90). The coffee was pretty good, not too bitter or acidic. The sandwich was also quite nice, fresh off the sandwich grill and very warm. The pesto was lovely, tasted like it was freshly made. Not bad for the price as they don't scrimp on the ingredients.

I quite like the cozy feel of the place, it feels similar to that of Yardstick or Toby's Estate. It seems like a community kind where they have a bunch of regulars who come in to eat, and the barista remembers them all. I'd probably be here more often if it was located near me.

They're open 24 hours except Sundays where they're open until 10pm only. They serve alcohol and pulutan after 5pm. I'd be curious to check this place out at night! I want to try the deep fried mac & cheese, available only after 5pm.

I met a looloo friend here and while waiting i ordered their White Tea. I just forgot the name of the tea or the brand. But they only serve that certain kind of white tea. My friend introduced the Fried Ham
And Cheese Bread. It was exquisite that once you have tasted it you'll definitely grab for more. The bread was like a boring deep fried pastry, but you will be surprised once you get to taste it. Come and visit their store and indulge with their goodness.

After watching a play at Whitespace, we headed here hoping to grab some dessert and coffee. Unfortunately the place was completely packed. We ended up ordering dessert to go.

I was intrigued by their cheesecakes so I ordered a slice each of the dayap cheesecake and the three cheese cheesecake. I had such high hopes, sadly the cheesecake didn't live up to my expectations. The crust was fine, but I thought the dayap cheesecake was too sweet; I could barely get any sour / citrusy flavour. For me, anything with lemon or lime or calamansi or dayap should have the right balance of sweet and sour - the one here was mostly just sweet. The three cheese cheesecake was slightly better, but I thought the cheesiness was pretty mild.

Another chill spot at Magallanes! Very cozy, artsy and not to mention there super delicious food! 128069

After our long, tiring ojt from MHCS, ma and friends decided to find a resto or cafe just around the area, got intrigue by what's in ecoplaza, then found Staple and Perk at the corner of the building.

They have this promo in which if you have a hair color, choose any of their bread or sandwich then you get a free 2 perk cooler (soda w/ special syrup for flavors)
Ordered ham and cheese sandwich plus strawberry soda!! Sandwich is too artsy, i don't want to eat it at first! 128514128514
Also tried their flat bread! The one with bacon, black pepper and cream! My favorite!! You can taste everything and it was heaven. 128524

A definitely good chill spot with affordable and super delicious food!! 128059128040

Quirky, clean, spacious and well-lit place. I needed a chill place in the area to kill time and this seems to suffice. I love the calligraphy logo on their mugs! Very hippie-artsy vibe. There's also a chalkboard signage that says "No Wi-fi, Talk to each other" which I found amusing.

Tried their Three-Cheese Cheesecake and Cafe Americano. My friend wasn't a fan of the cheesecake because she was looking for something sweeter but I loved it! Must try for cheesecake lovers.

A 24-hour bakery? Wow! Props!

But for a bakery, I didn't smell freshly baked anything upon entering, it could be that the high ceiling diffuses all smells? We were three kids who were not sure of our appetites, but we were decided to while away time instead of choosing to be stuck in traffic.

Our tastes were weird and orders were varied, a cream puff, a pasta dish and a vegetable quiche. Guess what mine was? Yeaaaa the veggies. Quiche was ok, the crust was buttery and the veggies were not soggy not hard even. I heard the rest of the orders were so-so.

I'm a little torn on how I feel about the interiors. A wall full of greeting cards, another wall with multi-colored stuffed giraffes lined up like prizes in a fair. Baffling.

Fried Ham and Cheese Sandwich - A little bland but really good when you dip it on their homemade
strawberry jam.

The Fried Shallots & Bacon - The penne was cooked well. Very flavorful.

Dayap Cheesecake - Thick, creamy, melts in your mouth and has a crumbly graham cracker crust. The sweetness of the cheesecake complements well to the tangy dayap glazed on top.

A clean, well-lit, and brilliantly decorated place beside our office. Nice!128513

Staple and Perk Bakery is one of the must-try resto in Pasay. You'll surely love this place because of the cozy feeling and sumptuous dishes they offer. I ordered their Sweet and Country Ham Baked Pasta and I love it. Delicious meals at an affordable price.

Not fan of baguettes but these freshly baked mini baguettes looks good so I bought it. Perfect when you toast and put cream cheese spread. 128513128076

Tried creme puffs & Tomato, Pesto and Kesong puti (best seller daw!) but didn't really enjoyed it. The sandwich is bland. Chewy Junior is waaaaay better than their cream puffs. Quite expensive for pastries that doesn't taste that good.

Their Dayap cake is worth trying! Sorry for the almost consumed picture of it- I remembered too late but just had to salvage what's left :)

After getting my visa @VSF located in the second floor of Ecoplaza Bldg. I tries to look for some food to eat and i found this cute bakery at the lower ground floor.

Loved this shop with a very nice interiors.

Order Dayap Cheesecake for a price of 110.00 per slice in which I find a lik bit pricy but its sulit it taste so good as well as their big nit so sweet cream puff which is 65.00 per piece.

This place is my kind of Tambayan Place for weekend sideline work and review. Is that just the shop is not so obvious outside hope the management will try to adverstise it more.

We arrived a bit too early for our visa appointment so we decided to kill some time at this place. Cool interiors, airy with a vintage vibe. They also give you colored giraffes instead of numbers for your orders, cute.
Got the bacon and cheese quicker for php95. Pretty pricey IMO. Chocolate chip cookie was good at php30. Unfortunately, had to return my quiche cos there was a small hair in th filling 128078. I wonder why servers don't notice these things, tsk tsk.
Ok place to kill time when you're in the area but I don't think I'll go back.

I've read about this from ClicktheCity and I was eager to try it since 1) the interiors looked really nice 2) it's a Cafe-Bakery 3) its just at the other end from where I live from. It was timely though that I had an appointment on the same building this morning so I had the chance to try it. The ambiance looked pretty promising BUT when we got our orders the coffee was nothing special, the quiche was small for the price and underwhelming.
