Rolling brownouts are nothing new in my neck of the woods, but rare where I reside. We had a 13hr. In my area and was in need to charge my electronics. With much hesitancy, I opted to go Starbucks.

I haven't entered a Starbucks in almost four years. Yes, FOUR years! It's not that I'm an anti-corp--it's because I don't drink coffee. Also, because this was a rare occasion, and it was, and still is [super] hot in the City of Pines, I ordered an iced Roasted Caramel Machiatto (RCM). I couldn't use their electricity, and not order anything, right?

I very much enjoyed this drink. It was very cold, and refreshing. What I enjoyed most about my RCM, was that there wasn't a strong of coffee. This smooth, creamy, and sweet drink totally hit the spot on this hot summer day!

Happy Eating!!!

Honey Crunch Mocha Frappe
Honey Crunch Mocha Frappe
For some reason, this combination reminds me of autumn. Perhaps it's the saltiness of the cheddar cheese
And the sweetness of the honey. Kind if like a sweet stew brewing up on a cold autumn day. The drink is so fragrant! I love it. The taste is similar to the winter melon fruit.. The tuna sandwich has carrots in the mix but I could not distinguish the leafy ingredient. My eyes are failing on me on this moody light.

We all know that Baguio is the home of Strawberries here in our country. I don't know if Starbucks also offers their Strawberry cheesecake in other branches here in Metro, but how I wish na inooffer nila. The place is nice and cozy. Plus yung wheather pa. Soo good!

Stick to caffeinated drinks when it comes to Starbucks. This Chocolate Chip Frappe sucks! Too much blended ice that the cream freezes over and I couldn't taste anything but water. The chocolate bits are so yucky. Imagine a soggy oreo that has been steeped for hours. Overall, it tasted cheap and I'll never ever buy it again. I'll stick to my Green Tea Frappe or any caffeinated drinks please!

barista's were friendly and efficient.

my order of French toast and Cappucino was given to me in 5 min. i would have loved it if the french toast was heated since i love it hot or maybe it's still too gold here in Baguio so it became cold very fast.

the starbucks is in the baguio techno hub area which is a good place to look for the usual restos found in manila.

I don't know why but Starbucks tastes so much better in Baguio. I got a Dark Caramel Frappuccino and it was very true to it's name. I could really taste the darkness of the caramel. Drinking it reminded me of caramelizing sugar a little bit longer than usual on the stove top. It was just a little too sweet for my taste, so I had to blend in the whipped cream well to neutralize the sweetness. IMO, it's better as an iced latte.

It has been our small family's tradition to go to Starbucks on our first night in Baguio.

This is our 2nd time this year simply because we cannot take the heat in Manila.
Too happy that we are experiencing 22C here in Baguio, and it was just raining so it went down further to 17C! I am just loving the cool breeze and I wish I don't have to go back to Manila anytime soon but of course I have to!

Anyway, I got my favorite - Iced Green Tea latte w non-fat milk since it's already quite late and I am planning to get a restful sleep.
Happy that it came out perfectly delicious!

I love this branch because wherever I go, Starbucks never have any available seats, but I'm glad that this one had a lot of free seats for us to actually be cozy and relax while we enjoy our drinks.

Will surely be back here one of these days before we head back to Manila or when I come back for our next Baguio trip!

Was there last December 2013, on a busy night. Team members were gruff and not friendly. Cashier held cups with her fingers over the lips and inside the cups as she wrote down the name and then stacked them up again, in a totally unsanitary way, especially since she was also handling cash with those same fingers. When I called her attention, she changed the cups, then did everything the same way. Worst, all the other baristas, including the person who looked like the team leader, handled the cups all the same way - holding them by the lip and with their fingers inside!!! I wrote Starbucks about it but all they said was that they would look into the matter and never heard from them again.

Free slice of cake, Signature Hot Choco, plus CV, and cold weather. What's not to love?

Barista was jolly & pretty. I like that she put a smiley on my cup plus she got my name right. Ha. She also greeted me a happy birthday. 128514

We checked out the ayala technohub here at Baguio. It really just reminded you of Manila, but the weather is just cooler.

Anyway we wanted to hang out some more kasi we didn't want to hit the sack just yet so we stayed at Starbucks.

I got their chamomile tea, my tita got their chocolate waffle and strawberries and cream frap and my sister got their empanada(?).

I loved that their tea bag wasn't made out of paper, it was in some sort of cloth and the bag was bigger than the standard one i'm used to.

My tita and sister found the frap too sweet, i didn't get to taste it kasi i was too full from happy tummy128517
