Got a chance to try the Double Chocolate Green Tea Frappucino at Starbucks. I was surprised that I actually really liked it. A tad too sweet, but that can easily be rectified on the next order.

This place is also jampacked almost everyday.
Street parking because it can only accomodate about 4 cars in front of the store

Available CR at the far end
Not a good choice of branch for me i dont know, very high profile kasi nito sa area. It kinda depreciates the cafe ambiance na sometimes.

Paired the delightful calamansi cheesecake with SB's new iced chestnut white chocolate truffle... I liked the Valentine's day drink of Starbucks... Granted that it was sweet, so I just let the ice melt before finishing my drink... The calamansi cheesecake was a winner for me, a tarty and creamy balance that tickles the tastebuds! Lovely way to cap off the night...128522

Mocha frappe (blended whip) - 128523 made with love ♥ by my bf is definitely perfect... Haha swear 9786 masarap tlga xa gumawa ng drink 128525... Anyway back to my review he recommend us to try S'mores... Hindi talaga ako masyado mahilig s sweets... But this one made my day complete 128522 with my "not so palaging drink" hahaha 70pesos/slice it taste like brownies of kenny rogers used for "browny ala mode" and marshmallow on top and chocolate drizzle... Please make it warm mas masarap sya pag na-warm... 128077128077128077 problema lang sa branch to is mahirap talaga yung parking 128557... And madaming tao!

While waiting for boyfriend to finish his work I decided to go to this branch as I need to finish my notes for review. I was able to relax as well because they didn't have a noisy environment. In fact there were bunch of students studying as well -- oh! I suddenly miss school!

Parking in Banawe will always be problem so I'm taking it off the equation.
Met with my boss here last Friday afternoon to finalize a proposal.
I ordered 1 tall hot mocha and mango madness cake and I liked it! I have a new favorite/alternative when the bannofee pie is not available :)

tried this sticky cinnamon bun out of curiosity! But I guess I won't be a fan of it... a friend of mine told me that 'twas her fave. the pastry was flavorful but I think it need more cinnamon flavor? though the cheesy thing on top was good!

My letter to Starbucks:

Hi, I have been a loyal Starbucks customer for 17 years... It has been my home and library during college and med school. At some point, I would stay there from opening to closing (during the boards). I even did my Industrial Organization company profile on Starbucks, as one of the major projects I did in college. My cousin was even the store manager for the Katipunan branch and then became the regional manager for several years. So I'm quite familiar with the company policies and thrust. That being said, I would like to report an incident during my visit tonight at your Banawe branch...

I came in and there was only one person ahead of me, one of the baristas ordering a drink. I was then next in line. The barista, Jomar, barely greeted me, but I didn't mind. I ordered the slow roast ham, egg white and Ementhal cheese sandwich to go and an Iced Tall Nonfat French Vanilla latte, no whipped. As I ordered, he didn't even look at me and was talking to the other barista. He thanked me for my order, then asked if I wanted a drink with my order. But, didn't I just order a drink?

I repeated my order and said kindly listen to me when I'm ordering. I was annoyed at this point already, because I don't like repeating myself and we were in a hurry as my companion had an emergency surgery to perform. I gave him my credit card and Starbucks card and asked him to load P300. Despite the fact that I already used my annoyed voice and was visibly irate, he kept talking to the other baristas. He showed me the total and asked if I wanted to reload my card. HELLO?! Didn't I just say that? Should I record my answers ba?

Obviously, I was already mad at this point, told him that he wasn't listening to me the whole time I was ordering. He apologized then asked if the sandwich was for dine in, as it was already being placed on a plate... I'm sorry, but is this how new baristas are being trained nowadays? There wasn't even a line and it was a slow night, so what's their excuse for such poor service?

As it was obvious that there was a problem, another barista (NOT the manager) asked me, "Miss, may problema ba?" To which I replied, "Ay, mukha bang wala?" Hello, that didn't help.

They proceeded to just give me my order, didn't place it in a paper bag. It was only at this time that the manager approached and placed everything in a bag. I said "Excuse me, pero mukha bang first time ko sa Starbucks?" They should have already had an inkling that I'm a regular from the way I ordered, not listening much?

I already asked for the baristas name and told him to expect a comment from me. He apologized again, but all the baristas let me leave the counter. I was so pissed off already and I put down my ordered and took a comment card and sat down to write about my experience. This is the only time that the manager, Glenda, approached to ask, again, if may problem ba? Seriously! I again replied, does it look like there is no problem?

I told her how offended I was at their service and as I'm paying P145/ coffee, they might at least want to look at me while I order. She offered a renumeration card, as she described it. I knew what it was, but I made her explain. Hello, if she wanted to stop things from escalating, she should have done so before I started writing or intercepted me at the counter. If the other baristas wanted to help, they should have called the attention of the manager immediately or volunteered to take my order. Asking if there was a problem, when there obviously is one, doesn't help the matter at hand. Duh.

I asked Glenda if I accepted the renumeration card, does that mean I can't complain anymore? I actually just wanted to hear her reply. She said no, I can still complain. So I said thanks, got the card, and continued to write. I saw her signal to the others, "NO" with a shake of her head. Well, too late, I don't bluff...

I'm so pissed at the service. I have noticed that the baristas aren't so friendly anymore, even in other stores. But this is too much. This is not a way to treat your partners, a loyal one at that.

I hope something will be done about this. With the price increases and the third wave coffee shops popping up everywhere, I don't mind taking my business elsewhere.

P.S. The French Vanilla latte was a bust.
