Liking these new teavana frozen selections and their triple chocolate cookie. The hibiscus with pomegranate pearls was a favorite even when it was still in its non-frozen phase.

Think teavana x slurpee and there you have it!

Got an email last Friday to be the 1st to try the new Teavana drink. Tomorrow this drink would be launch. Love the new Frozen Chamomile Tea with Kyoho Grapes and Aloe. The Frozen Hibiscus Team with Pomegranate Pearls is just the same they just made it frozen :) A grande size cost 195 each :) Grab it tomorrow at you favorite Starbucks branch. If you have a Starbucks card, get one until today just use the card for paying the full amount.

I heard the matcha yogurt frappe is already hard to come by now. Really, ubos na stock? It was that popular? I just found it mehhh because i could only taste the yogurt and not the matcha. As a yogurt frappe this was good, but i expected a more matcha influenced drink seeing how green it was lol

The perfect match: Starbucks’ Cold Brew (plain, no sugar, milk, etc.) paired with a slice of their Chocolate Cake.

This might sound blasphemous to some chocolate cake fans but I think theirs is one of the best. 128586

It’s reliably moist, sweet, and the serving size is perfect! And since it’s at Starbucks, I won’t need to make a special trip to some hidden location just to get my chocolate cake fix!

Finally tried their Youthberry Iced Tea as recommended by Mico C!

Very light, refreshing, and if you're trying to drink it at night - it's not caffeinated! The hot version is good also. I prefer it without the honey though. 9786

If you want strong coffee that can awaken all your senses, go for my favorite White Mocha Americano, no water, with breve. Tell them not to mix the breve so you can first have a sip of the super strong Americano. This is my usual order whenever I'm sleepy but need to work. Like today. Holiday, yet I need to be in the office.

P.S. This drink is just 155php, venti size.

My neighborhood Starbucks! This is currently my go-to Starbucks as I've been here many times since moving to the area a year ago. Though I've been here twice before when I had planning sessions for my previous company at nearby Bench Tower. It already has the contemporary design of Starbucks which they started to use a few years ago in their newly built branches, and, despite its small floor area, it doesn't feel that cramped because it's got a really high ceiling (which is good). Surprisingly, it's big enough to seat 28 people inside and about 16 outside. The outside is pretty convenient for smokers cause, even though it's along 2nd Ave, there's plenty of plants, small trees and Starbucks parasols to cover the smokers or those who prefer the outdoors while drinking their coffee.

I ordered my usual Americano grande (free thanks to the BPI promo!), this time with white mocha syrup added for the nice sweet top note. No need to add sugar or sweetener unless you've got a sweet tooth. Another staple order for me is their Sausage Roll. At P95, it's a nice, decent priced snack. Croissant like outer layer surrounding a nice 6-7 inch sausage (or about 1/2 to 1/3 the price of Pink's, hahaha). I like the buttery flaky texture of the roll, since I adore croissants, and the sausage has good flavor to it, too. They also put in a cream cheese like spread inside the roll which works well with the pastry and sausage.

I've never had problems with the service in this branch, despite the occasional long queue, and I always get the friendly smiles and efficient service associated with Starbucks. Plus it's always cold inside, so I love their consistently cold environment. In fact, I even stayed here an entire afternoon just reading the paper and then catching up with friends. At the couch area, of course (which is where I'm sitting now as I type this).

While Starbucks may not be my favorite brewed coffee per se, there's something to be said about their service, ambience, comfort and fantastic locations that makes me frequent them more often than all other coffee shops. 128518

Speaking of ambience, I had to look up whether it really was spelled ambience or ambiance... har har. Perhaps my friend Reich T will have a thing or two to say, but I had to check it now on google. According to Grammarist, it's more commonly spelled ambience; and I pasted the excerpt here:

"Ambience and ambiance are different spellings of the same word, referring to the special atmosphere or mood of a particular environment. While some dictionaries list ambiance as the standard spelling, ambience is far more common in all main 21st-century varieties of English. It’s worth noting, though, that ambiance tends to take precedence in contexts relating to art and design, but this is by no means a rule, and exceptions abound.

Ambiance is the French word from which the English one derives, and ambience is an Anglicization. But in fact, the Anglicized word has been in English longer and was established long before the French spelling entered English as a vogue word in the 20th century. So the fact that ambience is more common makes sense, as it has been an English word longer."

So there...

I used ambience in this review. No doubt, I've used the French spelling a few times also in other looloo reviews. 128512 Now enough spelling lessons, at least they're pronounced the same (at least I'd like to think so 128514) and mean the same thing. Lol.

Oh look out for the upcoming Starbucks promo:
"Share A Mocha Moment and enjoy a One For You, One To Share (Buy One, Get One) on Chocolate Hazelnut Mocha from July 18 to 20, 2016. Promo is valid for hot and iced variants in all Starbucks stores in the Philippines."

Good for sharing with friends, loved ones, or for meeting a future loved (or something else) one. 128513128517128518

Yayyyyy buy one take one!!!! 128513128513128077🏼

So last monday, we were supposed to go and avail of the promo right after voting but the line outside Starbucks was insanely long! 128563

Good thing the promo is until 5pm. Before going home in the afternoon, we decided to go here. Drive thru to avoid the line inside.

The Chocolate Hazelnut Macchiato was surprisingly good. Liked it. No weird beer taste. 128513 I liked the iced version more than the frappe.

Want to get iced tea at Starbucks but don't want the super sweet Black Iced Tea?

Get their Iced English Breakfast Tea! BUT make sure to tell them to mix/shake the sweetener otherwise you'll be left with straight up bitter iced tea - unless of course you want it real strong. 128170

You can also try getting it with honey instead of the regular vanilla syrup they add.

(I made the mistake of getting it with Earl Grey instead of English Breakfast - I didn't like the Earl Grey. Kind of reminded me of Chai. 128534)

Also, be prepared to wait! Steeping time is 5 minutes. The last 2x I ordered this, I had to wait 10 minutes. 9203

Probably the Starbucks that has the slowest service here in BGC. 128547 Whenever we're sleepy and tired and bored, my officemate and I would normally buy coffee and snacks at Starbucks Reserve near our office but during our visit, the cinnamon roll wasn't available 128518 The wisest thing to do was just to order something else but CINNAMON ROLL. Nothing can ever replace it! 128541128523 so we walked going here. We were surprised to see a lot of people inside. This isn't usually full but apparently, it is. So we lined up. Waiting isn't really an issue since we're not in a hurry but the fact that there were A LOT of baristas inside. Around 5? The service should at least be fast or smooth. Good thing, the barista assigned at the pick up counter was nice and has a very light and cheerful aura. Tsk! Oh well. 128527128517

The Starbucks on the corner of 2nd and 30th in BGC just shot itself up to my top 5 branches. The small space is redeemed by its high ceiling (reminiscent of a nice loft) and corner window. My favorite spot is right there by the corner, at the end of the communal table. The table isn't too high (ideal for working on my laptop!), the seats are comfortable, and the lighting is nice.

The barista was very nice and patient as I described the infamous green tea-classic syrup-espresso shot-strawberry swirl Frappuccino that I learned about here on looloo, and it's so nice to be in a Starbucks that isn't hogged by students "studying" LOL call me mean, but it was a breath of fresh air, honestly.

If this place weren't so far, I'd come here more often to work. Good thing my lola's condo is walking distance from here (just down the street!), so I have more reason to come here, with free parking to boot!

this is where i go to get my starbucks fix since it's very near my office. it's small but the baristas are efficient most of the time so didn't had any issues on the timeliness of them getting me my usual cappuccino or americana.

Walked all the way from SM Aura to here. 128517 Sometimes we people are just weird.

It was already midnight and I want to take a good bight sleep, so I ordered a Hibiscus blend (herbal infusion tea) feels like all the flowers were placed in a hot mug and you can peacefully enjoy it while having late night chat with your girlfriends.

Small store but not noisy unlike the Starbucks in BHS.
