I frequent this Starbucks branch because it’s usually not crowded even on a weekend. I normally go here to do (extra) work at all times.

For the drinks, it’s the usual Iced Shaken Hibiscus Tea with Pomagranate pearls or Hot Chamomile tea and I usually pair it with one of their newest creations - the Flatbreads. I love both Four Cheese flatbread and Sausage & Bacon flatbread. Lighter toppings on top of the crisp and almost thick crust flatbread. For just Php95, you get to enjoy these sandwiches as if you’re munching a perfectly-made pizza.

Tried the newest drink of Starbucks - Strawberry Honey Blossom Cream!

When I ordered this, I asked the barista if it’s too sweet. She said in all honesty that it’s more on the sweet side and suggested me to lessen the frappucino syrup. So instead of 3 pumps, I asked her to just put 1 pump (Venti size). Verdict? It’s so delicious! 127827 It’s like their classic Strawberries and Cream but creamier. Cindy S loved it as well considering she’s not a fan of strawberry drinks.

Go try it! It’s only available for a limited time. 10084

Current favorite: Grande Iced Soy Caramel Macchiato with less syrup (sweetener).

I thought it’s kind of weird at first, but I really like the balance of coffee and soy milk. 9749

Cold brew this time.
When Im feeling sleepy, this gives the right kind of kick. The black may be too strong for many, so the vanilla cream makes it a little more palatable.

It's the most wonderful time of the year!
Christmas tradition starts today.

Vanilla Nougat Latte as new comer drink for this year.
Christmas Tree Peppermint Dark Mocha
And the hall of fame Toffee Nut Latte.

We tried the new Vanilla Nougat Latte. The velvety smooth steamed milk blended well with the mixed berry drizzle and crunchy strawberry almond nougat candy topping and it's AWESOME!
My tastebuds are rejoicing right now perfect for the gloomy weather!

Of course the toffee nut latte that I miss taste so good.

The planner is pretty cute as it has Starbucks card "Pilipinas" and be activated once you claim the planner of course.
Planner is available in 2 sizes, 2 planner designs and 2 brown planner leather envelope to choose from.

Christmas tradition starts today! 127877🏻1278769749

I love this new Granola Dark Mocha.

If the Açai Mixed Berry has a popping effect, this has crunchy effect making it fun to drink.

To relieve me from a stressful day brought by BPI, I indulged myself with this new drink, Banana Split Mocha Frappuccino from Starbucks.

I super liked it!

Tea in place of coffee. I usually get their Iced Shaken Hibiscus but this time I opted for the classic - Iced English Breakfast Tea, Venti, tea bags in. I was about to ask for 2 packets of honey but decided to experiment and asked what syrup they would reco for me to add. The barista suggested Strawberry so I went for 2 pumps!

The result? Pretty good! The strawberry syrup went well with the bitterness of the tea. I loved it!

Also got my birthday month free cake and went for a slice of New York Cheesecake. Asked for Caramel Sauce and was so glad they gave a generous amount. A little too sweet but it was so good!

Staff are not well-trained. This is the worst branch.
I asked for an extra choco drizzle for my drink in which, after it was prepared, a partner told me that there is a P15 charge for it. I didn't want to ruin my day, so despite knowing that itI always get it free, I agreed and came back to pay for it. What made things worse was when I was about to pay, I was told that it's P20. Talk about inconsistency.
The whole time i was there, it felt like I was not in Starbucks.

PROMO ALERT ‼️

I was so early for my work today so I decided to go Starbucks for my daily caffeine fix. I wanted to order their new drink, Tahitian Vanilla Macchiato, as I've tasted this last week courtesy of my friend.

While ordering, the barista told me that today is Macchiato Monday and their Tahitian Vanilla Macchiato is on promo - double upsize. So I only paid for the tall size instead of paying for Venti. This drink is actually good. I'm not surprised that the taste will be okay as I used to like Tahitian Vanilla ice cream from Carmen's Best (though I think they use Madagascar Vanilla now). Be sure to tell the barista to lessen the sweetness of this drink. It can get sooooo sweet, I kid you not.

P.S. The below are the promos for this week. You're welcome. 128075

** Macchiato Monday
Complimentary double upsize of Tahitian Vanilla Macchiato

** Teavana Tuesday
Complimentary double upsize of Matcha and Espresso Fusion

** Wind up Wednesday
Complimentary double upsize of Starbucks Cold Brew

** Tribute Thursday
Complimentary double upsize of Starbucks Tribute Blend brewed coffee

** Frappuccino Friday
Complimentary double upsize of Valencia Orange Cocoa Frappuccino

It was a long but productive day and I can only thank my homies from foodsocietyph Jairus d and Ruth D for being more than just foodie friends.

Back from our Tagaytay work + fun trip, I waited some more for the hubby to finish one last meeting before he officially declares weekend! I got too bored so I decided to get a drink from SB and I ended up using my SB card stars to try their Salted Caramel Mocha Crumble.

Grande, over ice - mocha drink topped with whipped cream, drizzled with caramel sauce, topped with crumbles and salt. I would like to say that it was good but I can't lie and I don't wanna fake it. It was just okay. There was nothing salted caramel about it. Caramel with a sprinkling of salt will not cut it. Or if the drizzle was supposed to be salted caramel, well, it was not.

2 Stars for the drink + 1 for customer service in this branch!

My latest obsession is matcha. Since I came back from Japan, I have been craving for it like crazy. And do you know what's funny? I used to hate matcha with fervor especially the hot green tea, it's so bitter I think it's one of the biggest offenses against mankind.

Then I went to Japan and things change. Maybe the Japanese does it better, I don't know. But now I look for matcha ice cream, matcha cake, matcha cookies, matcha chocolate, and now my latest obsession, matcha latte. Nope not preggo.

Starbucks has two versions of it, matcha latte and matcha espresso. It is under their teavana flag ship. I went to Bonifacio Stopover where Starbucks is opened 24/7 during a break in the office. I'm a night shifter, I went there at around 3:00 in the morning with some officemates.

I wasn't prepared to see the queue when I got there, it was too freaking long. I'm not sure if this is the usual scene on this Starbucks branch or people are just trying to complete the Starbucks stickers for the planner. The baristas weren't as quick as those who are working at Starbucks SM San Lazaro (seriously, the baristas there are freakishly fast!) so it made waiting time longer.

So I ordered iced matcha espresso. It looks pretty because you can see the gradient of green and brown, of matcha and the coffee when it's served. Of course you got to mix them in so you can get that matcha espresso flavor. It tasted more coffee than matcha, which in principle should be good, but to me it tasted a bit off. I realized I want the matcha latte better.

Starbucks manager was rude. I was just asking what's the update on an item I may have left at this branch, and he answered with a bitchy tone, "Teka lang ha! Mag-isa lang kasi ako dito!" Hello? There were 3 other staff members.

Starbucks recently launched its Teavana line. I experienced Teavana in Ontario, Canada, during my vacay late last year, but it's a stand-alone tea store. So, good job, Starbucks people!

Entering this branch last weekend, it's got Teavana all over it. From the main menu, posters, tent cards at the pick up point, an entire shelf of tea accessories, it screams Teavana! We ordered the Iced Matcha Espresso. You'll see it arrive in three layers, the espresso, milk and Matcha. Shake and mix it, it'll give you a subtly sweet matcha Espresso latte. I liked it. The matcha was good, strong. I'd probably prefer it a bit sweeter, but least it's not sweet outright and you can just add syrup or Splenda. Espresso's also strong but it's the Matcha that comes out after you give this a good fair shake. People might find its Matcha notes and coffee flavor strong, but I didn't.

Starbucks also launched a Pomegranate drink which is black tea based. Haven't tried that yet. But the matcha is good stuff. Bitter and only subtly strong enough, but that's what green tea really tastes like.

Starbucks also sells Teavana for retail, in 4 flavors. Buy 2 get one pack free from Sep 16 to 20. This is a nice branch, one of their newest branches, good design, layout, and has a nice lighting accent. Good service, too.

Their new Teavana drinks were good to try. I had the Iced Hibiscus Tea with Pomegranate pearls while Cindy S tried their Matcha and Espresso Fusion drink.

The iced Hibiscus tea was not too sweet. The pomegranate pearls were interesting though. They're like bubbles exploding with flavors. However, I still like their iced English Breakfast tea better. The Matcha and Espresso drink was good. I liked the matcha flavor in this. If you can't decide if you'll have coffee or tea, then go with this one. Combination of both! 128541

P.S. To complete their Teavana drink line up, Starbucks also offers Iced Shaken Black Tea with Ruby Grapefruit and Honey.
