New on their menu: Vegetable Sticks! Yay? Well, kinda pricey for a glass of veggies. I love this branch coz it has a second floor with a balcony where you can enjoy the breeze if you want to hang out with friends or study. They have plugs outside so you can surf the net while enjoying a cup of coffee. :)

Tried their Gingerbread Latte, hot, non fat with only small portion of whipped. It's not overly sweet. Perfect for those who want to drink not too sweet Christmas concoctions. (SBC's ginger is more apparent albeit sweeter.)

Haven't been here since four years ago coming from a meeting. Waiting for my team for dinner and prime rib later in Hai Chix!128518

Ahh free double upsize due to their system being screwed up! Got a venti sized cappuchino for the price of a tall one! Since I was early at the bar, went to SB to get the upsize. Yey, still have a free grande pending to be claimed! 128540128541

My favorite Starbucks spot while waiting for Big Bert's to finish Macho's wax ( yes, my car's name is Macho.. Para macho 128513).

Since the spa place wasn't open yet, we decided to have brekky here first. I ordered the Spam black peppered something sandwich and Java Chip frap while hubby ordered the Strawberry belgian waffle and Mocha frap. I really liked the taste of my spam but the bread on top was kinda semi burnt when it was heated.. I was hungry and ate it anyway 128532Drinks perfect as usual.. Typical Starbucks 128077

Really nice Interiors. 2nd floor would be a cool place to hang. Well, you know how coffee tastes like here. So that, plus this ambience.

My fave drink in Starbucks during law school and bar review (also due to my tight budget and the fact that I needed a drink to last me around 10 hours a day) was an "iced grande cafe americano in a venti cup with 2 Splendas, on the rocks" then id just fill it up with milk. That costs 120 pesos and id have 3 shots of espresso na. Enough to perk me up but not too much to keep me up all night. When I could spare a couple more bucks, I'd add in some syrup, either caramel or white mocha which I love!

Now, in picture, is a new drink of theirs. The Asian Dolce Latte. They explained to me that the Dolce syrup they use in the drink was like white mocha but creamier. I was sold in an instant. It's really good and creamy and it only costs 150 bucks for a venti! Plus, it still maintains the americano rules of 2 espresso shots for tall, 3 for grande and 4 for venti. Sulit!

Asian Dulce Latte , a new coffee beverage from Starbucks. Recommended for Latte enthusiasts who like their caffeine fix sweet.

One of my favorite caffeine fixes from Starbucks is their Tall Hot Latte, with non-fat milk, and two Splendas. So when I saw the store poster of the new featured beverage, I thought of trying it. Starbucks described their new beverage as " a beverage to celebrate the unique coffee flavors of Asia with this locally inspired drink. Sweet dolce sauce combined with freshly steamed milk, topped with velvety foam and marked with shots of rich espresso. The uniquely flavoured dolce sauce is a blend of different milk that gives the coffee a smooth and rich velvety texture."

Besides, I'm a fan of Asian sweet milk-coffee (Kopi Tiam from Malaysia, Thai Coffee, Ca Phe Sua from Vietnam--good strong coffee sweetened with condensed milk). So I was sort of intrigued how Starbucks would present theirs.

I learned from the barista that for this featured beverage, they use a special non-fat milk with Splenda as a sweetener. This was supposed to give the beverage a richer and creamier finish. The beverage comes either hot or iced. I opted for the hot version.

The beverage tasted practically the same as my personalized Hot Latte --but this time richer and creamier. Although, definitely nothing near the other Asian sweet milk-coffee beverages that I enjoy. I did however find it acceptable since I enjoy Starbucks' hot latte. Besides, it went well with Farmer's Ham with Egg White and Cheese Sandwich that I also ordered.

I have yet to try the iced version of their new featured beverage. I'm intrigued with the espresso flavored whip cream that is used to top the iced version.
