So I missed the buy one, take one promo of Starbucks during election day. I mean I was well aware there was, but I just didn’t know it was till 5pm. Huhu anyway, my sister and I found out when we were already in line around 7pm and we didn’t want to just walk out because of that, so we stayed and ordered drinks for their regular price.

I had a caramel macchiato with soy milk in a grande size, which I found kind of pricey for P185. An additional P20 seems a lot for soy milk substitute, but that’s so worth the trip to the toilet anyway. Haha

What I liked about my macchiato that night was even if I left my drink standing for a long time, allowing some ice to melt, it never tasted diluted at all. Sakto lang their proportion for the ice, which I’m sure is measured.

This branch was crowded for a while and less serene compared to others, but when all the people are gone and it’s just you or your group it feels very homey and the air-conditioning is very strong.

The super plus are the cute baristas. Hehe that’s always a plus! Lol

This branch used to be Highlands Coffee, sadly moved out, and became another coffee shop which I forgot. Then one day, it became Starbucks! Finally! Haha. I used to live in the area so I know.

Since I moved in QC, my only chance to visit Pioneer Centre is when I drop by Kapitolyo or when I visit my brother. Glad there's nearer Starbucks branch (aside from the one in Capitol Commons and the two from Rob Forum). My cousin and I often make a 'Drive Thru' here haha. There's actually no drive thru, she just put the car on hazard inside the centre's parking lot and I will be the one to order a to-go coffee and snack for us. Like w/ my friends, my cousin and I wouldn't separate without having coffee.

So yesterday, we had two Venti Mocha Frappe as usual (mine has an added caramel syrup) and two (warmed) Corned Beef Pandesal. This branch only has one floor and a bit small but Starbucks always has a way of turning small things into something beautiful. NAKS! HAHA. So yeah, with their ever so good beverages, either hot or cold, this place is a great hangout place too.

Plus one thing I noticed yesterday was the good-looking guy barista there. Ahuh! His name is Nico and he's cute, enough to make your day eh? I call him 'Coffee-Man'. Hahaha! Jecca, who handed my beverage was also nice and cheerful.

Hoping to see Coffee-Man again on our next 'Drive Thru'. Hahahaha.

This is just a quick review of their newest drink which is Strawberry Red Velvet Mocha. (Coz this branch of Starbucks is my coffice for quite some time) Didn't like it coz of the confusing taste and not a hint of coffee perhaps. I did followed the reco of the barista to have it on frappe coz "it tastes better". Asked a couple of colleagues who have tried the drink and they didn't like it too. But I get to taste the other drink which I totally forgot the name but that should be another review.
