Ordered the usual Mocha Frapuccino on one occasion, Dark Mocha Frappe on another. Their mocha somehow tasted different, compared to when I ordered from the Santolan Town Center store. The mocha tasted rough, and reminds me of powdered chocolate milk. The barista didn't seem to know how to portion the drink properly; I ordered the Venti size but the lob of cream instantly sank an inch below the rim of the cup within just a few minutes. I was expecting my drink to be icy as I asked for a pump of sweetener syrup only; yet it was watery all the way down to the last sip - probably didn't put enough ice in it. All in all it felt more like a Grande than a Venti. Barista was wearing all black rather than the green apron over white polo. Maybe just unlucky, better avoid the black-wearing baristas next time.

Earlier last week, I have been seeing certain advertisements from Starbucks boasting of a Tea-ramisu Frappuccino -- a mix of cheesecake milk and Japanese matcha, topped with whipped cream and green tea cookie bits. At first, matcha lovers will surely be enticed at how well they managed to market their new drink, and would surely rush to the nearest Starbucks to try it out. 128154 It was the same thing for me. Though, I only had time to do so last Sunday, after having lunch with my sister, her husband, and in-laws.

After lunch, my sister went to Bench Fix to have her haircut, and her mother-in-law, my mom, and I went to Starbucks to wait for them. I checked the menu, and opted to get one of their new drinks, the Tea-Ramisu.

I know, I know. A couple of foodie friends have "warned" me that this drink doesn't actually live up to its tagline, "Matcha To The Max". But of course, being the foodie that I am, I felt the need to still try the Tea-Ramisu (Php 165 - Tall), just so I could tell you guys what I personally think about it. Aaaand, Jayson was right. 128542 On my first sip, I thought: "Where's the matcha?" There was absolutely NO taste of matcha present. Even before mixing my drink, I tried to drink from the area where the supposed matcha syrup is concentrated, but I still failed to taste the matcha in it. ☹️

I have to note though, that it might be enjoyable for those who love cream based drinks, or people who are not big fans of the strong earthy taste of matcha. 🤷 I mean, it's not that bad, but I hope Starbucks will refrain from using misleading taglines -- to keep us from getting our matcha loving hearts broken. 128546128148

For the drink alone, I'll give them 211088. But, +1 for good service! Anyway, I have yet to try the Midnight Mocha Frappuccino, which, I heard, is a lot better than the drink I got that day. 128589

After having dinner, we decided to drop by Starbucks to wash away the saltineas of the shrimp supreme sandwich. 128556 Since it was already late, I asked the basrista what drink she can recommend which will enable me to sleep peacefully that night, and she suggested the chamomile Tea. I followed her advice and grabbed a cup of their Chamomile Full-Leaf Brewed Tea (Php 115- Iced, Grande). The taste is subtle, and is actually very calming to drink. It tasted similar to the Chrysanthemum Tea my mom used to make me drink when i was little. 128517 It is a great way to cap off a tiring day before you retire to bed. 128564

I love the ambiance here in this branch, as it is quiet and exudes a chill vibe. The baristas and stafd are also all very well-trained and friendly. 128076128156

I usually go here to stidy. This branch opens at 9 am.

Pros (if you'll study or meet with friends):
-people come and go so there's often a vacant seat. If you can't find a table, the guard will assist you.
-not as noisy as other starbucks branches
-well lit
-aircon's just the right temp.

Cons:
-no wifi. You have to bring your own.
-mobile data signal is so weak. I'll let you in on a little secret. The chairs behind the cupboard is where mobile data is strongest 128521
-you can't leave your things if you need to go inside the mall.

The place was so small that my officemate and I just decided to get our drinks to go. It was super crowded too, considering it was Tuesday. Weird. And raining. Service wasn't any better. Slower. Than. A. Frigging. Turtle.

After eating at Mesa, we searched for a desserts place because we didn't felt ordering desserts from Mesa. We found Conti's but it was full, so we ended up staying here.

Ordered a Mango Madness cake and it really satisfied my craving for sweets. It's luscious 128077🏼

My friend ordered a Banoffee cake and wasn't able to finish it. He said it was delicious, but it was too sweet.

Whenever I'm not tired to go this far, I'd rather choose Robinsons Magnolia over Cubao and SM Marikina. I love the ambiance of studying here. It's quiet and most of med students are studying here. A cup of coffee, any sweet, book and calculator + rarely I meet someone I knew because I don't want to be disturbed at all.
