My way to keep awake from nocturnal shift 128563128514 Tried the new featured SB Teavana: Iced Shaken Hibiscus Tea with Pomegranate Pearls and I love it! 128513127865 So refreshing and addicting especially when the pomegranate-flavored pearls popped in your mouth! Gonna try the other 2 Teavana flavors soon 128525

Since the reserve branch across the street opened, this branch has more seats vacant than before, so me and my officemates decided to stay here instead.

I ordered a tall hot Christmas Panettone Latte for this visit. The Panettone blend at this branch was creamier than the 1st time i tried this drink. As i was about to finish my drink, i noticed that it was getting sweeter. Turns out all the sweetness was at the bottom of the drink including the fruitcake bits. I'm not sure if this is how the Panettone drink should be as my 1st attempt to try this the sugar did not went all the way to the bottom of the drink.

I also requested for a glass of water and they only provided a shot glass of water which for me was not enough.

Tried the frappe version of the duo cocoa mocha and it was good. Got a free cafe mocha via stick for last wednesday's visit.

Thanks to looloo, I got myself a free Grande Mocha Frappuccino 9749️ And I really needed some caffeine this morning to get me through my night shift. 128563 And that drink helped somehow in giving me the jolt I needed. 128514 Thanks again looloo for the freebie! 128513

One day, they're going to remember my name (spelled correctly, unless I have my tumbler with me), and my order - Mocha Frappe, low fat milk, less whipped cream, less ice, extra mocha drizzle; but for now, repeating my long order will have to do.

Plus, today was something different. Dark Mocha Panna Cotta Frappuccino. Delish, but a bit on the expensive side for a tall cup worth Php180.

I haven't yet had the pleasure of enjoying the atmosphere and seats of this Starbucks branch, but this is my go-to Starbucks branch in Salcedo Village. I'm usually a quick in-and-out which is great because service is usually quick, and customers can choose between this and the Reserve branch diagonally across. Love how it lessens competition for people in line when you're in a rush.

Earlier, I had the pleasure of seeing a barista take and accommodate the order of a Japanese customer, in Nihonggo! Just something I didn't expect, but can't help appreciate the barista for.

Also, availed of these Spring Collection babies last week. Yay!

Yeah...no love for this one. My colleagues and I grabbed their Buy 1 Take 1 promo (Macchiato Monday) where the hazelnut variant won. Sadly, the drink seemed watery and bland. Hardly tasted the hazelnut notes in the brew. But hey, couldn't complain much. It is a promo. This is just...sad. 128532

Good morning! Up early for the last work day.

Went to starbucks valero to get a cup of soy latte and as usual it did not disappoint- a balance of sweetness and bitterness, the combination of soy and espresso is superb. To pair this perfect coffee, decided to try the chicken mushroom wellington (simply because I am an avid fan of beef wellington!)

To my surprise, it was AWFUL! Sliced it in between and saw very very little filling of chicken and mushroom and the pastry was RAW! (going Gordon Ramsay over here) just disgusting!

So much for a very good morning, eh?

Tried their Malawi Peaberry coffee and it was good. The place was also nice. Super plus points is that their located just behind our office building. 1285229749

My friend tried their Liquid Cocaine (4 shots of espresso, 4 pumps of white chocolate sauce, milk and enough ice to fill a grande cup). Had a sip of this and it was good! So, I ordered one and the taste was different. It was so sweet! I couldn't drink it. Even if I filled the cup with water, it was sti sweet. Service wasn't nice too as the barista seemed to be pissed off while she was taking my order. I used to like this branch but today was just disappointing. 128544

Ordered a simple Green Tea Latte and it was served after 2 people after me got their drinks. I could feel the lack of enthusiasm to serve of Mike but I think he remembered my name. Partner-in-Training guy was efficient though with handing out the drinks.

I don't like the ambiance of this place. I think it badly needs a renovation.

Right before you enter the door, you have to pass through people smoking their lungs out. When you head up the second floor, you can smell the toilet and the tables aren't cleaned right away as the staff are downstairs.

Service-wise, the staff are very quick and courteous.

This branch is the place to go if you're trying to pull an all-nighter!

The place is open 24/7 and has comfy couches and a couple of sockets on the second floor (the first floor can only seat about 2.5 people).

Their wifi was down at the time so we had no distractions. Their bathroom was also well maintained and their staff won't judge you if you bring food from other places (especially if you sneak it in).

If you're on a study break, you can always pick which conversation to listen to since you can hear absolutely everything in that 30-seater space. Best of luck to the 40-yr old dad who signed up for what I'm sure is a pyramid scam and the German guy who was perfecting his Tagalog demonstrative pronouns.

Looking forward to my next study session!

P.S. The guys above had been playing cards for five hours before we left.
