Originally planned to dine in to Aozora but then decided to head straight to Mang Inasal Tagaytay(separate review) out of cravings with chicken and unli rice 128517

After so, had to grab a tea so I headed straight to SB. This place has always been my comfort zone 128525 Starbucks Tagaytay branches never failed to give me back my inner peace brought by the fresh air and the nice view. 🏞

Dropped by on Rowena's pasalubong shop around the area so then I bought Mango tarts(P35/pc) and Silvanas(P50/pc) to fill in my sweet tooth. These are good plus their Yema Cake(P180) which I bought for take out.

I had a nice weekend 10084

If you want a breathtaking backdrop for your coffee date, this is absolutely the place to be. No wonder it was dubbed to be the grandest and most beautiful Starbucks Branch in the Philippines. The place was spacious and cozy. You can definitely enjoy some private conversation. Or simply spend some quality me-time for yourself.

If you're lucky, (I wasn't) you can take a table in their Alfresco area where you can enjoy Tagaytay's natural cool breeze while staring blankly at the mesmerizing Taal Volcano. Too bad this place was occupied during our visit. Better luck next time, I reckon.

We ordered two venti Chocolate Hazelnut Mocha (185php) to take advantage of their "one for you, one to share" promo. In case you haven't, go for it now as today is the last day. I also added a chicken pastel empanada (95php) to balance the sweetness of the drink with a bit of saltiness from the pastry. I loved the combi!128076🏽

Capping off, I'd like to say that I've been to several Starbucks Branches in the Metro but this one is SPECIAL. Not solely for its grandeur but most of all, for its warm and genuinely friendly baristas. I felt the sincerity when they asked how my day was going. It really added a great deal of good vibes to me. It was worth the 2-hour drive from Makati. I would really frequent this café if only Cavite's traffic isn't as bad as EDSA's.128513 But since it is, I'd visit every once in a while.9996🏼️

Able to grab Chocolate Hazelnut Mocha BOGO promo of Starbucks on its first day. Yay! 128525
Promo is from July18-20(last day today!)

Taste? bitter than their Dark Mocha but still I was able to enjoy it. 128513 Plus the overlooking view of Tagaytay makes me enjoy the my drink even more.

Another one of those disappointing crowd favorites, I didn't like this calamansi cheesecake! Sorry Siren the Mermaid. I guess I'm just too much of a cheesecake snob that I'm very critical of quality cheesecakes. I can seriously taste it when there's more flour than needed. It also needed more of that characteristic sour taste a calamansi has. I barely tasted it. I don't want to wriggle in asim but it just needed more for me. Even MOO didn't like it. I'm glad other people like this. It's just not for me.

Starbucks desserts are really a hit and miss for me. They taste like mass produced desserts. Their oatmeal cookie though, which I only tasted recently is pure love. Plus you can't go wrong with their sandwiches, especially that mushroom one.

I'd like to give a 2 but since my hot chocolate was ok and the location was great I'll even it out with a 3.

We came here on a really cold February (not VDay!) week night. We wanted to savor the cold weather so we stayed at the outdoor seating all wrapped up. We were lucky enough to enjoy it close to empty. People not prepared for the windy weather retreated indoors after a few minutes.

PS. Be careful when you exit the ascending parking. You might get caught midway or accidentally hit a car on the main road. There's a guide up on the road that will tell you when to proceed.

Starbucks is no doubt one of the largest coffee shop chains in the world, it's effin everywhere! But this review isn't about their products, let's face it, Starbucks is overrated and they're selling overpriced coffees... Anyway, one of their branches located at Tagaytay City is probably one of the best I've ever seen, well who wouldn't want to sip a warm espresso while enjoying the overlooking view of Taal Lake? 127861128524

My favorite Starbucks Coffee branch because of its beautiful view of Taal volcano. Went there on a Saturday afternoon and the the waiting line was so long. There were no seats available but good thing I was able to get a seat by the terrace so we were able to feel the cold breeze while enjoying the view :) it's a very nice place to unwind. And btw parking's not a problem 128077 Will definitely go back. I hope I can buy a tumbler when I get back 128521

Best thing in this branch? The view. Very relaxing and peaceful. The baristas are friendly without being too eager to make small talks. Loved the place and the coffee. 128522

Definitely one of the most sought branches here in Tags. 128525 Nice and cozy and very spacious! There was a very loooonnng queue here yesterday afternoon! All the seats were taken too! Had to stay outside which i kinda like coz of the direct heat that the sun is giving us on a very cold summer day!

I was here with the fam. Including mom who enjoyed reading while waiting for her warm water to arrive, lol! Yes, that's all she wanted!
Enjoyed the view and cold air breeze with my sister and her family...128525

I was able to use two of my five hundred SB GC i received last Christmas!128077

Definitely one of the most scenic branches in the city. This place has a stunning view of lake. The drive down is pretty steep and I hope people drive super carefully here. Before heading back to the road do wait for the traffic people to signal to you or you might hit oncoming traffic or have to wait mid way on the very steep driveway.

This place is pretty small considering so many people come here. When we got here it was like a zoo! Wow, super ingay and there were just people everywhere. Good thing the ceiling is high. And after the after-lunch crowd it became quieter. We went here last week and it was sill pretty warm outside so we had to stay indoors.

I got my green tea latte with non-fat milk & 2 free extra scoops of matcha. Yum, yum, yum. Everyone else got their Christmas drinks. The baristas were a bit frazzled by the continuous orders. My friends peppermint mocha had way too much peppermint because the barista tapped the shaker too hard. But my friend told him he'd gladly take the drink that way. I told them that their whipped cream was flat but they said they can't do anything about it.

We were very disappointed with the mango dessert (it was too crumbly). The banoffee pie was alright (sana more bananas) and their blueberry cheesecake was almost like that of CBTL which I love. I saw a lot of people bringing in Tagaytay delicacies. Maybe next time well do that. Im sure it goes well with the Starbucks drinks.

Thanks for the reco!

PS. Pick me!!!

Almost there for being awake for 24 hours. Last Thursday I woke at 3am to go to work for a 6-2:30 shift. After our endorsement, we decided to go to Tagaytay after my co-workers shift ends from 2pm-10:30 pm. Too cut the story short, We arrived at Tagaytay at around 12:50 am and went straight here in Starbucks to have some coffee. The store closes at 1am and thanks to them for still accomodating us and letting us stay for 45 minutes beyond store time. 128513 My 3 co-workers still ordered Frappe ( Greentea, Coffee and Nava Chip) despite the cold weather and just wearing shorts. 128514128514128514I ordered my usual Hot Cafe Soy Latte to keep me warm and awake. We ordered Blueberrylicious Cheesecake, Cinnamon Bun and Banoffee pie. Since it was my co-workers birthday a few days ago, we requested a candle from the Barista and made the Banoffee as her instant Birthday Cake (picture above). Starbucks may not have the best coffee in the world, but we go here for the Starbucks Experience. The baristas were great, still wearing their best smiles despite the time.

I love the place. It's homy, cozy and have a nice view of Taal Volcana during daylight. I think I posted the view on my last review.

*is this the branch near Estancia? I might be reviewing on the wrong store 128540
