I love hanging out in this branch, as it's not smack in the middle of the hustle and bustle of Ortigas Center. Plus it's quite near the office, so this Starbucks Reserve is one of the good options to get an expensive coffee fix 128556

Service is satisfactory. Had a couple of encounters with sincerely friendly baristas, then one who's a tad indifferent. Ambiance is very comfy and typically Starbucks-y, so it's a perfect place to chat with friends or have alone-time coffee and breakfast at.

Haven't fully maximized the fact that it's a Starbucks Reserve version though, as I always order my go-to drink--mocha with hazelnut syrup. Would love to try the new Christmas coffee flavor though and eventually get my hands on the attractive planner I'd barely use anyway (haha!128522) Needless to say, will definitely be back!

Its official! Starbucks signals the start of the Christmas season. Aside from the return of the favorites: Toffee nut and Peppermint mocha. This time with a new flavor, its the Santa Hat Dark Mocha. I ordered it hot, tall size for P170.

This drink has decadent dark mocha with strawberry infused whip cream.I enjoyed this flavor, as its not sweet and dark mocha taste is solid. Will definitely try the frap next time. ♥️

Green +Brown+ White!

It a rainy afternoon after lunch but decided to give in with this beautifully mixed Iced Matcha & Espresso Fusion. Not only that it looks good, it gives matcha another taste with strong espresso and milk. Its not sweet, so if you prefer some sugar you may do so. But for me, the mixture is good enough.

Tried the newest flavor in Starbucks! Matcha & Espresso Fusion. I prefer the hot one since its kinda cold in the office. Tall size costs P155. Matcha taste is obvious, with strong espresso taste this time.. Kinda strong!

Keeping it light for lunch today and saving space for ice cream i had 2 of my favorites in Starbucks.

I had Sausage Roll (P95), its a whole sausage wrapped in a croissant-like bread. This is so good especially when hot.

Misto (P100, tall size), perfectly brewed coffee served with milk.

Something new was launch today @ Starbucks! Its their fruity jelly yogurt. Strawberry or Mango? Limited only from today til August 1128522

Today, I had their Strawberry flavor(Grande size @ P175) has a delightful fruity taste layered with smooth texture of yogurt. Sweetness of the strawberry flavor balanced by the hint of tartness from yogurt. I'm not a cold drink lover, but once in a while this kind of cold drink is awesome.

Instead of sipping your Frappuccino with a green straw, why not use a rolled sweet wafer biscuit lined with rich chocolate ganache? The cookie straw is light and crispy with a slightly toasted, sweet wafer and chocolate flavor. 128525128525128525

T'was after lunch and I need a kick. No, not physically! I planned of trying specialty coffee of Starbucks Reserve today. These are actually brewed black coffee with distinct taste. Among the 3 featured blends, I chose Burundi Murabi. Actually, the server did the recommendation since I'm having a hard time. He could have read my facial expression, that I wanted milk on it. I had the tall size cup for P150 plus 2 extra shots of steamed milk (P30) and a shot of hazelnut (P20). The Burundi Murabi has a strong taste of coffee, the milk is good to somehow give creaminess. However I regret the hazelnut... Too sweet for me. Nice coffee experience though. It does wake me up.

Ps. Specialty coffee has free cookie 128522

Back to Frap! This afternoon, I quickly decided to try another new drink in Starbucks. Their Green Tea has been a great experience 128522

The new Chocolate Black Tea with Earl Grey Jelly Frappuccino features three delicious textures – Earl Grey Jelly, Java chips, and chocolate tea powder topped with whipped cream. For milk tea lovers, this is a must try! Close to the taste of the usual milk tea.. But this one gives a new dimension to taste with the java chips to munch, while you're taking a sip.

Last week, I was able to check the new blended beverages of Starbucks and I can say that with original twists on favorite flavors, their latest summer beverages embrace the taste for the new that define us, the costumers! Here are the new frappuccino offerings "DOUBLE CHOCOLATE GREEN TEA FRAPPUCCINO and CHOCOLATE BLACK TEA WITH EARL GREY JELLY FRAPPUCCINO"

As a Matcha Lover first thing I tried is their DOUBLE CHOCOLATE GREEN TEA FRAPPUCCINO - This beverage is a Green Tea Frappuccino infused with crunchy Java Chips layered with a smooth chocolate sauce at the top and bottom of the cup. It is then topped with whipped cream and a light dusting of Green Tea powder.

Kuddos to Starbucks!!!

Who would have thought of putting wasabi in a tuna turnover? And its so good! The tuna wasabi turnover in Starbucks is a must try. I, myself has reservations of ordering it. The tuna has a hint of wasabi mixed with cream cheese. Not the usual sweet treat I get when ordering coffee. Perfect with my favorite Misto drink.

Servers in this place are friendly, and cheerful. Plus, this is not the usual Starbucks, Since this is Starbucks Reserve, they have specialty coffee that is not available in their regular branches.

Just an FYI, they conduct quick coffee preps and brewing for coffee lovers out there. 9749

I don't know why they call it Starbucks Reserve because I see nothing different from the regular starbucks. It serves the same coffee and food. With many of the outlets newly renovated I honestly don't see the difference.

Orange Honeycomb Crunch, i liked this drink. The orange flavor is powering enough to make it refreshing. It is fruity-citrusy and the sweet crunchy honeycomb on top adds texture to it. It is such a thirst quencher drink!

Finally, we had the chance to visit SB Reserve in Ortigas! Cool! 128526128526128526

Place: The ambiance of this Starbucks is different. The interior design is way cooler than other SB! However, the lounge is a bit small and can accommodate fewer people.
Their alfresco tables are limited too, and for me it looks like its too close to the street. Haha

Crew: Some of the crew are from the other SB around Ortigas haha, we’ve distinguished some of them 128587🏼, and then we made the instant connect! 10084️ Every time I visit SB, I get this feeling that everyone there is my friend. We chat like we knew each other! Hehe Instant Friends! 128109128107128108 So, the crew here really answered all of our questions and kakulitan. They even show us how to make their exotic coffee, step by step! I can now be a barista hahah 128514

Coffee: I had the East Timor Ermera, the crew explained that this has lemony taste with peppery spice like characteristics! They used the clover coffee machine to make the exotic coffee. Clover is the reverse of coffee press/brewer. In coffee brewer, the ground coffee were steamed then the coffee will be dripped drop in the pot and it can sit there for hours, while in Clover, the principle is like French press (ground coffee is fully immersed in near-boiling water and left to brew) and vacuum pot. Based on Mr. Google, the concept of Clover is the following: on the top of the machine there's the top of a computer-controlled piston, into which the coffee is loaded; water from a fixed tap above is poured in, and then - after some stirring and brewing time - the piston pushes up, with a 70-micron mesh drawing the grounds up to the top of the machine, while a vacuum sucks the coffee itself out of the bottom, into a waiting container. (Coffee geek?? Haha) Cool isnt?
Clover brews one cup of coffee at a time, you can customize it with different beans, roasts and strengths.

I like East Timor, it doesn’t have an after taste but boy, its strong. 128516
