My midterm reward treat for my daughter Adelheid L last February 2 after fetching her at school.

We went here at Starr's Famous milkshake at Esteban Abada in Katipunan. It's not our first time here.

We ordered their best seller mixed berries banana , cherry and chocomint cookies plus my first time to try their corndogs , very affordable for around 100 pesos for 3pcs, loved it and perfect for milkshakes, service is fast this time 128077

Starr's milkshakes will be our forever milkshakes for all time 128076

I was on my way to CCA's parking this morning. It's my second time to drive along this street, but it's also the first time that I saw this milkshake hub here. After seeing the signage, I immediately went to the conclusion that I'd have this checked out by the end of the day.

That's what I did. Come lunch time I told my classmates that I saw this restaurant near Starr's and we could have lunch there. I had them head straight to the restaurant while I visit Starr's.

The place is small but pretty neat, and the interiors look cozy, with some stools shaped like donuts with holes in the middle. I asked the ladies at the counter what they would recommend and they pointed me to their oreo oreo pancakes milkshake. That's what I ordered for P145.

The price was not a big deal with what I got for it. The wicked oreos topped on the milkshake were good. Crunchy both on the inside and out, and the breading had a bit of caramelized sugar. I loved it. The milkshake was also thick and creamy. Forgive the sloppy whipped cream. The ate who made it did apologize for that hehe 128517

I also got full from this milkshake that I didn't get to finish my lunch.

So happy to finally try Starr's famous milkshake! There are branches here in the south and I can't believe I had to travel to Katipunan just taste their milkshake 128529 lol!

My favorite milkshake!! I always order here the Salted Brownie with Caramel Fudge milkshake. Always so refreshing. Plus it’s not overly sweet. Just enough for my sweet tooth. And their interiors are always inviting. Two thumbs up for this place! 128077🏼128077🏼

This is my go-to milkshake place to satisfy my sweet tooth! My go-to flavor is Peanut Butter, Banana and Caramel. You can never go wrong with this one if you're a peanut butter and banana lover like me. They use ice cream, milk and big chunks of banana which makes the finished product thick and creamy.

Their Caramel and Cookie Dough and Strawberry Cheesecake flavors are also great options. They also have yogurt-based options if you're looking for a guilt-free selection.

The best part is the price point. You get to enjoy legit milkshake at an affordable cost (P95-125) versus other milkshake shops.

Starr's - literally STAR! I have been visiting several milkshake bars but so far this is the best among the rest. Combination of milk and mix-ins together with toppings will give you satisfaction. Would recommend it to all the kids and kids by heart. 10084

One of the best things about studying in a school that's just a few steps from Katipunan is having so many restaurants and cafes and all that just within reach. Starr's Famous Shakes might be all the way on the other side of Katipunan but its milkshakes are always worth it for me (for those unwilling to head there, there's always the new UP Town branch).

The Esteban Abada corner Rosa Alvero branch is small and only has a few tables. You'll be lucky to find even one empty when you visit. But I always like sitting on the bar stools so I can watch them make the milkshakes. And the jars of candies and chocolates are pretty to look at too!

I always opt to make my own shake and when I do, I always go for the latte flavored one. For someone who prefers tea over coffee, I really do love coffee-flavored sweets. I usually have almonds and crunch mixed in with my milkshake. Some might not think it's a good idea since the cold milkshake will harden the chocolate pieces but I don't really mind.

The Latte milkshake base is smooth, thick and has the right hint of coffee flavor. Almonds have a pretty strong flavor so for those who don't like it so much should be mindful when choosing it as a mix-in or topping.

For those who don't want to mix and match can pick one of the available flavors/combinations. I think you can never go wrong with choosing Caramel and Cookie Dough! There are sugar-free ones too for those who want to indulge with less guilt!

When I crave for milkshakes, this is where I always go. They have a wide variety of milkshakes you can choose from. And I love the toppings you can mix in in your milkshakes. Too many choices it's hard to pick just one 128513

I tried the Salted Brownie and Caramel Fudge milkshake. Then I added crushed peppermint candy in it, as usual. It was delightful. I was hesitant at first because I don't like caramel because it's too sweet. But it turned out good. There are cubes of salted brownies at the bottom of the drink. 5/5 for this drink!

Last night was actually a feast at Lola's hospital room as there were a lot of food for us to share over dinner.

We took out some pizzas from Domino's, bought pansit from our favorite panciteria in Marikina, had siopao from Hen Lin and a whole lot more. Our family gets even tighter with food, oh yes. Who doesn't, right?

So, as I was eating whatever there is at Lola's counter, my Tita offered me some corn dogs and I gladly accepted it. I am a fan of corn dogs and I couldn't say no to this even if I was already full.

I ate it even if it was cold already and still, I loved it! The hot dog's dough smelled really good! The hot dog tasted so yummy too. I can't actually identify what brand it is. The mixture of the dough with the hot dog was just so perfect for me.

At first, I thought it was just from wherever but when I saw the packaging of Starr's Famous Milkshakes, I felt that connection, that feeling of really loving something from the beginning and despite of not knowing that it's the same brand, once you've tasted it, the happy tummy feels are still the same.

My first ever try of Starr's corn dogs, yes, I can clearly remember that I instantly fell for them! The size isn't that big but is actually OK given its price.

Three pieces of corn dogs come in a very nicely packaged carton with pretty light blue colors and a sticker identifying what your order is. I really love this packaging of theirs. For to go orders, a ketchup comes in a plastic container too.

Well, aside from my crazy love for their corn dogs, Starr's do serve a lot of nice tasting milkshakes that you can actually enjoy with your friends during break time at school, or have these as desserts after eating out with your family or if you just simply want to forget about work, go for their drinks.

Yes, again and again, I would proudly say that I am such a fan of Starr's Famous Shakes and I wouldn't get tired of encouraging you all to try it as soon as you could!

Given that I am such a sucker for anything sweet, may that be cookies, cupcakes, cakes, macarons, milkshakes and a whole lot more, shops and restaurants that serve a lot of desserts from their menu is my weakness.

It's been a while since my last visit at Katipunan, which used to be my second home way back in college. Every once in a while, a new place to check out suddenly pops out and pulls me towards it.

When I got the time, I was so happy that I was able to go back at Starr's Famous Shakes, again! Located at Abada St., near Krazy Chicken and 711.

Starr's Famous Shakes' branch at Katipunan is a bit small. It can actually accommodate a max of almost 15 people and that's already jam-packed. Nevertheless, that's not a reason for people to not frequent the place.

The joint, despite being small, looks really cute and nicely decorated. The interiors were simple but matched really well with the place. The lighting was well and gave the place more character. The simple yet matching furniture gave it more life and identity.

Upon checking the menu, you'll be overwhelmed with what the shop has to offer. From a variety of milkshakes for chocolate, strawberry, vanilla, milky lovers to some snack items like corn dogs and fries, Starr's Famous Shakes is a good place for desserts or light snacks after a busy, hectic day at school or work.

What makes it more fun for guests is the fact that while waiting for your orders, you can enjoy watching the staff to create your loved drinks as you get to see the bottles of all the syrups, mixtures, etc. that they use to give it that flavor!

I ordered the Chocolate Cookie Dough and man, as certain as I was, it was so good and never did disappoint. The thickness of the shake looked really pretty and its milkiness was balanced with the flavor of the chocolate cookie. I loved how its sweetness isn't that much to make me feel full easily. More than that, I liked its presentation and the personalized Starr's cup.

Too bad the corn dogs weren't available when we visited but hey, don't miss out ordering those because they're cheaply priced but are really really good!

Yes, fan of Starr's Famous Shakes here!

Hay, Starr's 128525
Had the Drunken Caramel VIP milkshake (for P95) because i found the name quite interesting. At first sip, I couldn't figure out how it became "drunken". Had my food developer partner, Khaimah Fe B, taste it and she said it had Rum. Oh yes, it does! Haha. Doesn't sting so bad. Just right. It's still a milkshake afterall. :) Their milkshakes are still the best I've had.

Oh wait. 8 Cuts' Red Velvet Cake Shake > Starr's. Haha. But, yeah.

Corndogs are yummy too. :) Small, dog-filled corndogs :))

The place was quite full and hot though. Their aircon wasn't working properly..

Red velvet cake shake for my merienda (plus corndogs)! Tasted like red velvet but i must say that the cake shake of the same flavor served in 8cuts is better.
Corndog though, is a winner! 128522

Hay jusko. Would have been perfect for this hot hot SIZZLING HOT weather. Starr's famous shakes are the best! I've always loved a good, creamy, thick and sweet milkshake and Starr's is just that. From a variety of shake ice cream bases to the branded chocolate flavours, Starr's is just something a sweet tooth like me will definitely love. And, at an affordable price too.

Thanks for recommending this, Khaimah Fe B!

Decided to try this milkshake place that also offers great snacks. They have a variety of milkshake offerings, categorized into "Famous" milkshakes and "VIP" milkshakes. They also have "Shake and Bake" which includes flavors such as Toffee Banoffee, Red Velvet, Butterscotch and Strawberry Cheesecake. What I ordered is a new flavor, Cherry with Dark Choco, and it is yum! Retro Malt, made with Horlicks, my childhood favorite, is another must-try. Their snacks are not so bad as well. I ordered Slammmer Jammer Dog and Wedge and Wings.

After getting my son report card yesterday I decided to go to my favorite milkshake bar in town as it was so hot that time. The place was small but cute. Lucky I was the only one that time so I enjoyed my stay there.

Got their best seller milkshake, Cherry with dark Choco for 110 pesos then got the Slamma Jammer Dog for around 70 pesos, total bill is around 200 pesos only .

Glad that they have wifi connection so i don't get bored while waiting for my food

Killer milkshake!!! 128523128523128523 Had cookies and cream with Malt crucnh and cheesecakake, and all three go well together. For every sip, i feel the crunch of the Malt (meaning there's a lot of Maltesers dumped in my shake haha!). The cheesecake, meanwhile, gives the aftertaste, making the drink so well-rounded. Loved it!

My favorite milkshake store! Very creamy and not too sweet. The flavor is just right, imo. Salted caramel is love! 10084 The staff are also friendly. It has a chill vibe that's good for hangouts, although the place is small. But overall, it's still one of the reasons I go to Katips.
