I was so hungry, I decided to go to Maginhawa to take my lunch. I ordered one of their specialties as recommended by their staff - the pork adobo but it was supposed to be with a tea egg and wasn't available at that time. I was disappointed coz I would love to have the tea egg to go along with it. Then I also tried their house blend iced tea - it was a very refreshing drink. The pork adobo however, was a little bit oily for me. I had to put chili in it for added taste. Sadly, when I was eating, the two staff were speaking loudly of how they are having issues with their employer. :(

I have tried their wintermelon milk tea, iced tea (great with the burger) and taro milk tea. They also have DIY tea. You choose among two of their tea leaves and you have your own pot and it is refillable.

In my past three visits, the owners were there. They were really friendly and very accommodating. They also have food. Their redvelvet muffin with matcha powder is good. It is a must try and it is good for sharing. They also allowed us to eat our burgers from Good Burgers their.

The place is also cozy. My friends and I are kind of regulars there.
