It's like Steaktown reincarnated. They say the restaurant has no connection whatsoever with the old time favorite Steaktown restaurant but everything in their place and food show the opposite.
We tried their Ali steak which is a thick cut 8oz tenderloin grilled to our specified doneness. It comes with a free serving of salad from their salad bar and a bowl of soup with garlic breads! The difference though is that these side dishes are all not eat all you can. However, they taste exactly the same. I have no doubt previous steaktown regulars will feel taken back in time.
Now for the steak, it's a thick cut of ample sized tenderloin that was cooked to medium rare, medium and medium well. Four of us dined that night, my dad and I got medium rare steaks (warm red in the middle with a little pink) despite asking for it to be medium. My mom got the perfect medium doneness (pink in the middle) while my sister got a medium well (more brown outside and pink in the middle). I hope they can perfect the doneness next time around. BUT errors aside, they all tasted SO GOOD! And I am not exaggerating! I even feel like I don't need to go to House of Wagyu to enjoy a delicious tenderloin steak. It's that tender! I can just have it here for a much lower price of Php 780 only. They also have a ribeye and a t-bone steak in offer but at a bit higher price.
Lastly, they have a lot of selections as well besides the steaks. There are pasta, pizza and some Mediterranean dishes, at least that's what I remember. The main focus that night is the steak though so I really wasn't able to take a good glance at the other dishes.
Final words, for all those steaktown partons out there who are missing that old time favorite steak. We now have a place to satisfy that craving.
