Steep and Grind is a great addition to the limited options that we have in our area and it is located slightly across our office, yey 128522128512128522! Steep and Grind has an artsy interior (kudos to the owner’s husband who did the calligraphy on the wall) and a relaxed vibe; place is averaged in size and can accommodate 20 people. They serve coffee, tea, sandwich, pasta and snacks. Their coffee is strong and tends to linger a bit in the mouth, with a less clean aftertaste. I tried their flat white and was impressed by the latte art (baristas are from Magnum Opus and Refinery thus the beautifully crafted latte art).

Side Note:
It will be great if their operating schedule is a little earlier during the weekends. A morning chill in a cafe and a good coffee on a weekend rest day is the best.

Just across our office is a newly open small coffee shop. Steep and Grind got a nice interior and nice wall mural caligraphy art. I tried their flat white which was quite strong but tasted good. Latte art was also impresive. A little chit chat with the owner and I learned that the two barista are from refinery and magnum opus. Thats why the latte art was good. The owner herself is a previous saleperson of espresso machine coffee beans. Thats why she's quite familiar with the other coffee shops.

I didn't try their cakes because the owner told us that they are on the sweet side. Their matcha latte are also on the sweet end.

Overall the place is nice. Coffee are good. Downside there are not much of a power outlet available. Not bad for an easy access to good coffee near the office. 3.5 star for now hope they could provide some not too sweet pastry. 128522

Here's a new cafe at parañaque just below the smart LEC office. Lucky Dennis O and Elaine O for having this cafe really accessible.

Well, referred by the two, managed to get a review first. It was a rainy afternoon and vapor at the glass interior of the cafe has condensed--perfect for a warm stay.

128204 beef bolognese @170php
The linguine pasta was not aldente-- more on a little too over cooked but not sticky (a bit soggy) then the tomato sauce was full of meat! Fulfilling naman however the meat got 2-3 pieces of cartilage which had me wee bit irritated.

128204 green tea latte
Too sweet. Latte art approve but the quality of milk and matcha was not apt for art making. Still, i think kissako reigns the king of the hill.

128204 blueberry cheesecake @130php a slice
It seemed big at the display, but when it was served, it was freaking small. The blueberries were whole but canned (as opposed to some crushed canned berries). The quality of cheesecake is considerably okay.

The place is rather small to accommodate 4 groups. Maybe 3 groups of 3 would do. The tables maybe communal so get ready to mingle. Sofas were comfortable. Wifi is reliable having only a few to connect to it. There are no power outlets which is a downside of the cafe. There's only one power outlet at the water dispenser.
