Whilst walking the back streets , away from upper Osmena Ave ... we walked to STK ta Bay! sa Paolito’s Seafood House ... a charming Filipino Seafood Restaurant ... as I was told , this is one of the best Cebu Restaurant to have tasty Tuna BBQ
There’s also a couple of other Paolito’s Restaurant nicely around Cebu City
Our scrumptious delightful brunch was -
• 400g Tuna Panda - P400 ... was well BBQ’ed , with a tantalising smokey taste
• 500g Sizzling Squid 🦑 w/ Curry - P450 ... was flavoursome , with the tender sizzling sliced whole squid ( w/ tentacles) in a deliciously mild curry sauce
• Coke - P60 ... nicely cold
• 2 Rice - P50
With STK ta Bay! ... most of their seafood meals , you pay by the 💯 grams ... we didn’t know the full prices until after being served meal adds up
As this restaurant is in an old ( looks liked ) Cebu House ... the air conditioning could be turned up
Also apart from the scrumptious meal , this charming Filipino restaurant ... has a small interesting Philippine historical museum style room ... as well as further displays of WW2 & other interesting historical displays

When I visited Cebu earlier this month, I asked my friend to take me to some good restaurants in Cebu. She asked me to choose from some of her recommendations and I picked this. I was extremely happy that I did and she told me about it.
I love seafood and this was a great place to eat for those grilled seafood dishes. For starters, Baked Scallops 8pcs for Php 140. It was soaked in butter ugh need I say more! We also got grilled Kitong (Php 210) less tinik compared to other fishes.
Liked the homey ambiance too. I enjoyed my dining experience at STK busog sa sarap!
Thank you Nikki C for taking me here!

It's like going back in time (literally) and enjoying good food and warm ambiance with friends and family at the same time. That, my friends is what STK TA BAY has to offer.
They've got function rooms (yes, rooms) for your private events with matching historic collectibles that will bring the 'nostalgia' in you with each room very much different from the other as if each one has its own story to tell.
The food is superb and they got lots to offer which will make you want to try just about everything in their menu.
So the next time you come to the City of Smiles, make your tummy feel festive and visit STK TA BAY.

I'm sorry but when I saw the cockroach crawling right under the table, I lost all the appetite and waited outside for my family to finish dinner. Not that I question the restaurant's sanitation but cockroaches are the death of me.

This happened to me 3x in a row within this 2 mos. i always take my mom here after we go to her doctor cz she loves seafood. First there's always flies everywhere. 2nd Waiter said it would take 30-40 min for the food to arrive. First 2 dishes arrived after 50min of waiting, then another 10min to get the other dishes. Our drinks was a lemonade pitcher which arrived after all the food was gone, been asking for it for a couple of times (seriously all my 3 last visits took d drinks to arrive when theres no more food). The last tym, I asked the waitress for a straw, as if like she couldn't hear me just looked at me nd never came back. I went to the dishes/bar area to ask for a straw, waiter told me to get one from where they display the pangga. Talk about bad service? The place wasn't even packed because we were there 5pm got all our order at 6:05pm except the drinks. I'm never never ever goin back to this place again. Their service n food really took a dive for the worse! I used to like this place

It's been a while since I last posted a review. I better catch up starting with one of my lunch adventures.
Situated within the small grid of streets in Fuente, STK is a nice hidden gem. Delicious Filipino dishes in an intimate and cozy setting. The mish mash of antiques, personal touches such as pictures and newspaper clippings, and a mini shrine for their Santo Niño statue lends the place a relaxed, warm Cebuano vibe--the right backdrop for some good ole Pinoy food.
Their grilled fish didn't put Cebu's BBQ scene to shame. I loved their suglaw (my personal comfort food), and their sinigang had the right amount of tang (at least for my taste).
I definitely recommend this place especially when you go with a small group of friends. Split the bill and chika galore!

Fresh from the grill. The fish meat was marinated very good. It is also boneless. It was not dry as well.
One of the must try when you visit here 🏻

Mango Float ️

I came back for this dessert. It took a look while for me to come back despite the fact that it was just walking distance to my place. But then it was also a good opportunity to take my sister and aunt to try this place. Basing on their feedbacks, they loved it!
We, 3, ordered each of our own desserts. K ordered lechon flan, which I find okay, and my Tita ordered turon with ice cream on top. I exceptionally ordered their mango float which happily was available at that time
The taste wasn't sweet. It was just right. The flavors and bits of mangoes were blended in each layer. Even the cream tasted so good 🏻
🏻
Highly recommending 🏻

Ps.. They are finally branching out at SM Seaside. Their first branch out ever!

It's my nth time in here and nothing has changed, delicious food, not pricey, cool ambiance, fast service, plus those artifacts on the walls are so nice to see while you're enjoying your lunch/dinner. With that note, I always recommend this resto to my Family, Relatives and Friends.

Hard work, patience and consistency. I guess these three words would better describe how this famous restaurant emerged.
What started as a small family carinderia to a now well known dining place in the Capitol Site of Cebu. I could imagine the many hard work the family underwent to reach this point to where they are now. This restaurant also earned an award at Tripadvisory's page plus many more public write-ups in the local newspapers and magazines.
The entrance of the area features and array of frames of celebrities, politicians and famous people who dined at their place. It shows their credibility in the business in providing good quality service to everyone while maintaining the quality of their food.
The interiors of place are decorated with a vintage touch of displays, a collection of Sto. Niño's, sets of China wares, rustic carvings in the window frames. A feeling of nostalgia is what will welcome you. A casual dinning setup but could also be transformed to a fine dinning themed
Their menu consists of a wide range of local dishes - from sugba to kilawin, seafoods to meat, tinola, sizzlers to baked scallops (a crowd's favorite) and yummy desserts. All of which are a must try. One can't go wrong.
What I had the night of my visit was:
Baked Scallops (135php) - fresh, sweet and buttery
Fish Tinola, 2pcs (150php) - fish was boneless, very good, loved the soup as well 🏻
Adobong Kangkong (100php) - no words, absolutely loved the taste 🏻
Sizzling Pork Sisig (190php) - recommended by the servers, as one of the best sellers in the Meatlover's section. We also loved it as well. The chicharon was still crunchy eventho the plate was not hot anymore. 🏻
Overall dining experience was great (eventho the waiting time took awhile)

Their Mango Float is a must try and that will be another reason for me to come back

The tastiest and affordable scallops I have ever tasted. Instead of the usual cheese and butter, this one tasted more like caramelized sugar and pretty much blended perfect well with the taste of the scallop. And the amazing part is it is very fresh and only cost 120 pesos for 7 pcs. How cool is that?!
