Finally was able to try Stockton place! Went here on a Saturday night and only 2 tables are occupied. And I am still wondering why we are advised to make a reservation next time. Its as if we are stealing a reserved table right?

Tried their foie gras salad and it is delicious! Fresh greens and freshly prepared foie gras and tasty salad dressing all pairing well with each other. For my entree, ordered their 650g prime rib steak and it is just heaven! cooked medium well and still tender and really juicy I don't even wanna share it. But is just too big not to share.

A bit pricey so this can't be my weekend thing but actually a nice place for dates or small celebration with friends. 128523128077🏻

Stockton's been on my list for a while now and I finally got to check out the place today. I love the quaint and intimate vibe!

My siblings and I decided that this will be our Christmas splurge so we ignored the meal prices - they were definitely on the expensive side. We ordered two pastas (aglioli and three cheese ravioli), seared scallops, the poached chicken, 700g steak and two desserts (chocolate marquis and milk & honey). They were all good... But my favorites were the ravioli, the scallops and the chicken. I'd go back for these three plates.

The steak - which was the main reason we wanted to eat at Stockton - was cooked to our liking and quite good. My brother loved it. But for some reason the flavor fell a little short for me.

Both desserts looked super pretty on the plate but I didn't like any of them. Neither did my sister. When we go back we'll try the other desserts instead.

Last wednesday night's dinner at this resto with unassuming facade in Salcedo has been a nice dining experience. Its plain on the outside, but inside is a cozy dining with contemporary design. Service is superb with attentive waiters.

To start our interesting dinner, we had Foie Gras Salad. It has shavings of foie gras all over mixed greens with peanut puree. Need i say more? Its foie gras!

Moving onto the main course, we had Prime Grade Rib Eye. Yes, thanks to my date who wholeheartedly ordered this and made my day 128522. We had medium well, 800gms rib eye and it was served with fried potatoes and sauce all over made this eye candy more juicier. Mouthwatering , tender and tasty steak.. The best so far. I've had steaks before, its all good but this one is simple yet my taste buds seems to like it ( a lot!)

Lastly, we had Poach Maine Lobster Tail. It is served with garlic chips.. And just read online.. Sauce is made of cauliflower cream with butter. The creaminess of butter matched the ever beautifully poached lobster. This one is something new for me128522

This is a nice date place plus place is clean and well-lit. I love the simple designs and i truly enjoyed my first dining here. To sum it all, the food is great with perfect service and ambiance.

One of the BEST steaks in town!!!

This is a photo of their USDA Prime Grade Rib-eye steak that weighed in at a whopping 1.04KG. Yes, you heard that right, 1.04KG of juicy medium cooked steak goodness! There's nothing more to say about this dish, it's a well cooked and well seasoned steak with potato crisps on the side.

If you're in the Makati area you should definitely give this place a try. This costs P490/100grams and their steaks start at 800-1000grams.

When Stockton Place had just opened, I went there but wasn't able to get a seat because I didn't make a reservation and they were full that night. Since then, I forgot about it. Haha!

After more than a year, the boyf and I decided to have our anniversary dinner here. It was a Monday night and there were only a few tables occupied, probably around 5 only. I like! 128077

Here's what we had:

Creamy wild mushroom soup - I like how this was served. Soup was good and earthy. And yes, it had truffle. Yum!

Foie Gras Salad- i loved this! So simple but so delicious. First time to have foie gras that's not seared and I liked it. It was buttery and rich! So good!

Caramelized Portobello Mushroom Tart - hands down my fave dish! Mushrooms stuffed with ricotta cheese, served with truffled asparagus. What more could you ask for? Sigh. Rich; creamy, earthy, etc... Etc.. I want one right now. 128523

Seared Scallops with caramelized Tomato Tart - a very nice looking dish. Scallops were good perfectly but scallops are always bland. Maybe it's just me?
Good thing the tomato tart made up for the lack of flavor. Fiber rich and flavorful. I enjoyed the tart a lot. 128522

Clam Linguine - I liked the noodles, springy and ramen noodles-like. Sauce was light and it had a generous amount of clams. We got this because we were expecting the serving size of the mains to be small but we were wrong. Haha! Still, we finished this dish but were really stuffed after. Lol

Chocolate Marquise - Although we were full, we just had to order dessert. Of course I chose a chocolate dessert and it did not disappoint. The rich choclate went really well with the almond tuile and fresh strawberries. Yum!

We also ordered Spanish Sangria which was great! Refreshing, sweet and alcoholic. Lol!

I liked everything we ordered but I LOVE the portobello mushroom tart, foie gras salad and mushroom soup. Please order these!

Service was topnotch! I hope that it's not because there were only a few people that night though. One of my friends had a bad experience here. I do hope she gives Stockton Place a second chance. 128522

Looking forward to trying their steak next time. 128522

This quaint little neighborhood restaurant is a perfect place for a quiet and intimate dinner. Stockton Place delicately fuses both sweet and savory tastes to produce an artfully prepared Sweet Potato Tortellini. It was heavenly! I devoured everything in a matter of minutes! The Tortellini was not that filling though. I still had plenty of space for some steak!

Stockton Place is the perfect place for some Prime Grade Rib Eye with Crispy Potatoes! The potatoes were cooked to perfection! The steak was done medium well – just the way I like it. GLORIOUS!

I can't believe I still had space for dessert after both dishes! We finished our meal with an order of Chocolate Marquise, which was equally gratifying. The plate was presented beautifully and had a perfect balance of flavors!

I recommend that you go on a Sunday. We went on a Sunday and the place wasn't full and overcrowded. I made our reservation on the day itself, and they were still able to accommodate us. Normally, the place is packed, so make your reservations ahead!

This one probably goes down on my list of the best dining experience I've had this year! Unforgettable! Stockton Place, I am in love.

A very private restaurant situated in the not-so-busy area of Legaspi Village. Opens at dinner only. Serves good steak, lobster, sole fish and scallops. Start up your meal with their wild mushroom soup with truffle oil.
Never leave without trying their desert menu.

For the past few years, I always make it a point to celebrate my birthday with my friends aside from the usual birthday dinner with my family. This year was quite different; I just wanted to have a quiet, simple and intimate dinner with my family. I wasn’t actually expecting that I’d be able to have dinner with them since I was supposed to work during that night but since my partners told me that I don’t have to worry about anything on that day and that they could take my place, I immediately told my mom that we can have dinner out. Though they already had a plan in mind, they still let me choose where I wanted to eat and without a doubt, I chose Stockton Place.

This wasn’t the first time I was in Stockton Place, the first one was J and I’s first anniversary last year. The reason why I suggested the place was not only because I miss the restaurant’s mouthwatering steak but also, I wanted to try the steak I have been jabbering about.

The place has been operating for more than a year now but even so, people still come back for it. For some who haven’t tried Stockton yet, make sure to call them first before heading to the restaurant because they have very limited seats and could only accommodate a few. When I dined here a year ago, the place was packed, leaving no tables empty. Fast forward to a year after, still, nothing has changed.

Creamy Wild Mushroom Soup (P285)
I was actually debating whether I’d get this or the squash soup but since my mom and two of my siblings ordered this, I decided to get the latter. Stockton has their own way of serving soups. I noticed this because the last time I was here, I ordered the squash soup and it was served similarly like how this was served.
Placing the Parmesan foam and prosciutto crisps in a bowl, the wild mushroom soup is then poured. A mild and savory dish to start the ball rolling, in preparation for the upcoming exquisite dishes!

Butternut Squash Soup (P250)
With goat cheese tortellini and bacon crumble, there’s nothing you could ask for! Stockton’s version of squash soup also includes hazelnut so don’t be surprised with the hint of sweetness you are about to taste! Between the two, I still prefer this over the other nevertheless, both tasted great!

Foie Gras Salad (P450)
Never will I miss foie gras. This luxurious salad was served chilled with shavings of foie gras on a bed of mixed greens, pickled cocktail onions and peanut puree. Since the foie gras was cold, I could only eat a piece of the shavings. For people who are not fond of foie gras, I suggest it’s better to order other salads instead.

Pear Rocket (P300)
Order this salad and you get the best of both worlds! Said to be one of their bestsellers, this salad came with blue cheese, caramelized walnuts and dressed with Pommery vinaigrette, which created a wonderful combination of sweet and tangy flavors. Added with the full-flavored blue cheese, this salad was truly saporific!

Clam Linguine (P360)
My dad’s staple grub – pasta.
Caramelized Portobello Mushroom Tart (P650)
This simple yet elegant dish is not all there is! Once cut, the aroma of the Portobello Mushroom explodes and its fresh, robust smell fills up the air. The mild truffle asparagus is best paired with the tart as it comes hand in hand, balancing each other’s flavors – lessening the pungent taste of the main dish while relishing the puree.

Sweet Potato Tortellini (P370)
Comparing it to the other dishes, it tasted just okay which is why I guess it didn’t sell like hotcakes unlike the other dishes. I found the tortellini to be a bit thick, making the fillings see invisible.

Seared Scallops (P950)
During my first visit, almost every table was ordering this particular dish and it seemed like J and I were the only ones who didn’t. So, I made sure that we order it during that night. Justifying the beautiful presentation of this dish, the scallops were huge and succulent. One piece wasn’t enough! The caramelized tomato tart was appetizing and definitely one of a kind, never did I feel it was dull.

Prime Grade Rib Eye (P490/100g)
THE GRAND FINALE. Stockton never fails to cook their steak to perfection and I guess this is one reason why people keep coming back to the restaurant. it may seem a bit expensive but comparing it to the other steaks, I must say this is already affordable considering the quality. I’m glad my siblings loved it! My 8-year old sister even ate a huge chunk! One thing I like about their steak is that it doesn’t come with the traditional fries rather toasted potatoes that tasted crispy on the outside but cooked just right on the inside.

I’m glad that some things remained the same and that is, Stockton still serves exquisite, quality dishes that are both beautiful inside and out. It was very unusual that we skipped dessert but we were just too full! That will be my agenda on my next visit then! :) I swear, order the Butternut Squash Soup, Pear Rocket, Caramelized Mushroom Tart, Seared Scallops and the PRIME GRADE RIB EYE STEAK, and you’re good to go!

We got the Foie gras salad- it was ok. 128522 The Foie gras didn't taste as rich- I wonder why.
I also got the green fizz (vodka, cucumber syrup soda) and there was nothing special about- will try the bourbon sour next time. We wanted to have the steak but since we just had steak a couple of days back, their smallest one (800 grams) was too much for 2 people. So, the husband got pork belly and I had the scallops. It's true. Small servings. You have to have a full course meal to fill a hungry tummy. 128540 Or better yet, just order the steak. 128516

Small servings aside, we loved the service, the presentation and the quality of the food. 800 grams of bloody red meat next time.

I can safely say that I love most of the dishes that we ordered here more than the ones we had at The Goose Station. I know, it's incomparable because first, the one in TGS is a fixed menu whereas here, we intentionally chose the bestsellers. It's just that the owner of Stockton used to be a TGS chef. So. 128513128513

Anyhow, it was a date with a few of my closest friends. One of our friends was the host for that night. The place was a bit hard to find especially to someone as clueless as I am of the Makati streets. Thank God for Waze, we finally found it. 128513

After a bit of chatting, we ordered:
Sweet Potato Tortellini, Foie Gras Salad, Clam Linguine, Prime Rib eye 800oz, Seared scallops, Poached Maine Lobster Tail, and Crispy pork Belly, everything downed with a few bottles of white. 128516

This was last March (BLA, you know?) so pardon me if I won't be able to give the fullest detail. 9996

Everything we had were all amazingly good but the dishes that were really spot-on for me were the (1) Foie gras salad, perfectly combined with the greens and a drizzle of the dressing marrying the creaminess of the foie gras. It was in itself a meal that I will kill for. Well, not really. Almost. Maybe. 128513 (2) The Clam Linguine was so good that I didn't even have the time to take a photo of it because the girls ravaged it before I could snap. Luckily, I was able to eat a few fork-twists of it 128530. (3) The Seared Scallops was a hit. It was delightfully soft and tender and juicy and perfectly seared and partnering it with cranberry dip was genius.128076

The others were good, but I've had better. For instance, the steak was impressively tender considering how thick it was but the taste didn't really cut it for me. I don't know, maybe I was already full at that time or i was looking for a specific taste in my steak. Although, I loved how the potatoes that went with it were cooked. 128076 And the pork belly, well, I eat pork almost everyday so it wasn't that special. The maine lobster was good.128077

The place is a bit expensive... And small. It's a bit hard to get a table so you have to call in advance for a reservation. It's usually full. The restau has the countrystyle, homey feel, you'll instantly feel comfortable. Just don't look at the hungry people lining up outside. 128513128513

Finally went back to try the steak. Lovely piece of meat! And yes, it was good for sharing. 128522 Aside from the steak, I also had the butternut squash soup which was tasty although quite sweet for my taste. We also had the scallops which were plump and juicy. 128077 Glad I went back. Best time to come here would be at the 6pm seating. We practically had the place all to our lola selves.

Foie gras salad was not so good, peanut butter dressing didn't do it for me: caramelized portobello mushroom was too sweet.

My cousin and I ate there last night. We had the truffle soup for starters. It was so salty! It overrode the taste of the truffle oil.

The foie gras salad left so much to be desired. The consistency was bad - clumped up pieces were served on top of the greens. Plus it was expemsive for a salafd with only greens, the foie gras and dressing. No nuances of flavor at all.

To sum it all up, this restaurant is overrated. Hopefully they improve their dishes and introduce more dishes.
