Can't wait to visit this place again, I super enjoyed our stay here. Great place, great food and great views! The staffs are all accomodating and friendly and I hope they stay that way.

The 3 hours long ride from Cebu City to Oslob is definitely worth it, plus a 30 minutes boat ride to the island. A must place to see and visit, just stay away during amihan season waves tend to get rough and bigger.

I love their sandbar! Had a great time there even if I got nasty burns. Pool view is great too. But food is just so-so.

Main selling point of this resort is the sandbar near the island property. Amazing views of the sunset. Beach has white sand but not as fine, clear aqua waters.

Secondary is the fact that it's the only deluxe resort hotel in Oslob. So if you want comfort, style and you have the budget, stay here. It's near the Oslob Whaleshark attraction and the Tumalog Falls. The beach in front of yhe resort is very rocky and not really fit for swimming.

We had our company outing here and four of us shared a villa. The villa was nice and seemed new, it was also beachfront. I also liked it because they have several hammocks around the resort. Perfect for lazy afternoon naps and/or posing for instagram hehe.

Food was a disappointment. We were served buffet style, usual grilled seafoods and meats and some ulam. It was ordinary, nothing special. Plus some of my officemates experienced diarrhea. The suspect was the food. 128078

They also accept day tour guests and they just stay by the sandbar. Their boats just parked around and guests scattered by the sandbar. I caught them once in the morning and it was so "magulo" typical of a public beach.

Took the day tour instead of an overnight stay which is a good decision. The island was good and all but if you've been to Boracay or Bohol it might not mesmerize you that much. I probably enjoyed the pool the most because of the awesome view.

Peaceful and quiet. 128524 Service is good. The staff are nice. Food a bit pricey but yummy especially the sinigang na sugpo, lechon kawali, and adobo rice. I love the Lemongrass cooler. 128536127865 Rooms are spacious but not that luxurious. Good that they're renovating. You get to enjoy swimming, kayaking, snorkeling, and trekking in the island. The infinity pool is a delight.

Can't find the best word to describe this place. Just heavenly beautiful! Its like a paradise! Just had a day tour during our Cebu trip last June 2013. It's around 3K. :) worth the travel of 4hrs by bus from the city. 128561

A 15-20 minute ride from the mainland of Cebu. So many activities to do like lagoon kayaking, snorkling, relaxing, trekking and stuff. It's pricey though but actually worth it in my opinion. 128522

Try it anyway!

We saw this resort in deal grocer and we availed of their package of 3D/2N with breakfast and tour to Tumalog falls. Our room is spacious and can actually accommodate 4 people since it has 2 queen size beds. You can also arranged a tour for whale shark watching. We enjoyed the whale shark watching and the Tumalog falls. However the downside of the resort is the resto. The food are bland and the servers are nor sensitive to the needs of the customers. They should traib their cooks/ chef as well as their staff.

Sumilon Review part 2

Ever heard of the term "glamping"? That's glamorous camping. 128516

Here, you can experience camping but you'll be provided with some amenities for you to be a bit comfortable. I know it sounds like it defeats the purpose of real camping but hey, I actually know of people who want to try camping but are just afraid of the dark. Or can't sleep on the sand, or can't be without electricity. 128512

So here you'll have a tent with beds, a lamp, electric fan, mini bar, and beach chairs.

The food... I didn't expect too much since it's an island. But I'd say they were pretty decent.

If you want to swim with the whale sharks, you won't find them here. 128513 But they're in Oslob. From the mainland, they're just a few minutes away! 128011

Loved this island. Accommodation and service were great and the glamping (glamorous camping) experience was pretty cool too!

If you're interested to see or swim with whale sharks, Oslob is just a few minutes away from Sumilon mainland.
