The hotel facilities were fine. The rooms and amenities, even the breakfast buffet would probably be better in one of the smaller boutique hotels cropping up ridge side. The view from the balcony overlooks Taal so thats a big plus. The convenience of having a supermarket and restaurants ride beside the hotel is also a plus. But for me, service is non negotiable. We were not given towels in the room when we checked in. We called for it and the woman insisted they were already there. Finally after 15 min they came. 2 towels for a triple sharing room. So another 15 minutes later... We found out our room was 2 doors away from the linen room so maybe next time getting them ourselves would be faster. The next day, after coming back from our activity, the beds were made but the toiletries were not refilled and the bathroom trashcan was not even emptied. The roilet paper roll was almost used up but not replaced... I dont think they clean the rooms well. Our 3 night supposed stay got cut to 2.nights. Not a place for a staycation... you would be more comfortable at home.

Another out of town wedding, another instant get-away for our family. It was the wedding of my hubby's cousin, actually more of renewal of vows for their 25th anniversary, and the prep place plus reception was in Summit Ridge. We decided to check-in for convenience and for some relaxation after as well. Summit Ridge has a nice location. It provides a nice view of Taal Volcano and a bird's eye view of the area around it.

We got a King Classic Room that has a King sized bed, a couch, a table, cabinets, personal ref, tea and coffee making section and a safety box. The room was quite small and cramped but the bed was soft and comfy. The lights were warm and the overall vibe of the room was okay. The bathroom didn't have a tub but had the usual hot and cold shower. The toiletries were basic but the facility was overall clean.

They have several function rooms and ballrooms for events and they even have a huge lawn for garden weddings or outdoor parties. They also have a pool and it's best to take a dip towards the afternoon, when the sun is still shining because it can get really cold towards the evening.

Service was good. It was easy to call for house keeping. Checking-in and out was not a pain as well. It was also easy to call the attention of their staff wherever you are in the hotel.Taking off one star because I think the rates are pretty high considering the room size and the inclusions.

It was especially cold when we stayed at Summit Ridge for a 2-day conference this Feb. 26-27 (we stayed from the 25th to the 28th). The view from my 7th floor balcony was all fog when I looked to check out the sunrise my first morning....We had a lovely view of the twin lakes upon arriving the afternoon prior. Going out our room door, you see the view as shown in the photo. Nature on one side, amusement on the other side of the ridge (sky ranch Ferris wheel, casino, etc). :)

It must have been below 20 degrees Celsius when we were there. It helped that the Ridge had Robinson's supermarket and various restaurants right next to it (Rai Rai Ken, Ted's La Paz Batchoy, Shakey's, Razon's, among others). Starbucks was right beside the main entrance. So, the brisk walk from the hotel foyer to the cafe for a warm cup, and walking to the mall next-door, served to invigorate than freeze our buns off! Right across were several restaurants as well, including an awesome bulalohan (must try!). These options were wonderful to have since the hotel's food lacked umph. Breakfast at the hotel was fine. Tawilis and egg always makes my belly happy... But, best to eat outside to happily tickle one's palette.

The rooms were great! We had a twin deluxe and the space was great! Enough room for two persons, two tables for working/dining (one long and round) and reachable/sensibly placed outlets for our gadgets (at night table, to the side of the bed near the balcony, at the desk). The areas of improvement would be general lay-out (we moved the beds together, placed the sofa and small table to the side to create more usable space), the closet needed lights, and the bathroom toiletries, save for the toothbrush kit, I would not really use.

It was great we had a ref! Helped store stuff we bought from the grocery for my son (cheese, other goodies). Housekeeping was uber helpful...! They brought me a water heater (since I had my toddler with me and needed that to sterilize bottles), gave me extra pillows, and stuff. In-room dining service was also good and friendly. :)

The conference support staff were most helpful. Always present for any challenges (tech or physical set-up related). We had the benefit of having or conference at the sky lounge/penthouse which allowed us to see a wonderful wonderful view of Tagaytay from up high. The only challenge was the whistling of strong winds against the glass (construction team/architect did not really prepare or build the top-floor or building glass to manage "wind seepage"... Sliding doors were not as it enough so there were times you'd here soft whistling of the wind..distracting if you have quiet and I tense workshop sessions. They should change the glass panels at the penthouse...for both friendlier use of the space and safety.

For a staycation, this place would get 4 stars from me for its location, speed of service, friendliness of staff... As a business conference place, 3 stars given the quality of food... Based on my overall experience, 4 stars, because I had a generally good experience and stay at this hotel.

our family enjoyed an overnight stay at this place. simple and comfortable, our two bedroom suite was right gave us a great view of Taal Lake and the kids and I appreciated the clean air at Tagaytay. We also enjoyed their breakfast buffet, real good freshly sweet buns w marmalade, fresh fruit and salad. Pancakes, omelettes with all the trimmings! Though it looked like their original venue for buffet breakfast was under renovation, the makeshift area on the gym floor was okay, with a nearby long terrace for smoking visitors. Coffee was great too! Noticed that so many buildings and mall have sprouted up so fast, hopefully Tagaytay won't end up like just another C-5! Still and all, places like The Pink Sisters and Sky Ranch cannot be found anywhere else but in this not so far escape for better weather and some great views

The room was small, the bed was also small but they were nice enough plus its open air so its very energy conserving. However, the food wasn't so great. Over all, there's nothing spectacular but would do good for an overnight stay.

I've forgotten what type of room we got; I think it was a 2-bedroom suite. But I remember getting it at a much lower price. I booked a day before our check-in date and the reservations agent just decided not to charge its actual rate! 128561

The room's got a nice view of the taal...and Josephine's. 128516

Decided to go swimming on a super chilly night. We didn't last long. That was a crazy thing to do. 128514

Among Tagaytay's best hotels, this is my fourth or fifth time here. Since it was new, I've been going and staying here whenever I'm in Tagaytay. Prime location, great view of Taal Volcano, situated across very good restaurants like Josephine's, Gerry's and Gilligans, with very nice rooms, bright interiors, and friendly staff.

A bit pricey at about P7K a night, it's a good thing we get good savings here pag may timing na promo. Lol.

If you're looking for a value for money hotel in Tagaytay, thiz iz it!

Went there on a promo rate Php3250 (no frills package) for an overnight stay. You get to choose between having twin beds or 1 queen sized bed, there's a 3 seater couch, an LCD TV. Bathroom is ok, spic and span, no tub but the shower stall is nice enough.

You also get complimentary broadband Internet. No breakfast though for that promo rate. But that's what Bag of Beans, Antonio's or Sonya's are for Ü

They also have a commercial center within the hotel complex (a supermarket, some restos, an arcade, a Starbucks) in case you get hungry late in the night or don't wanna travel far to grab a quick bite.
