Crispy skin. Big portions. Not at all like Max's which they often compare it to.

Other reviews say that this is their Max's chicken in Cebu but i would disagree. Its has a different approach to fried chicken, and its soo gooood. 128077128077

Sunburst Chicken, like Max's chicken, is an institution and a living legend. I'm happy to see that this enterprise grew with the times and more branches are opening everywhere.

It's best sellers are the chicken skin and ofcourse, it's chicken! You don't need to even put ketchup on it, it tastes great as it is.the chicken is juicy and full of flavor. The chicken skins are delicious!

I don't eat isol but my companions loved it! They said that it was really juicy "malasa" and "sulit".

There are also other items on the menu which are equally delicious. I like their crispy pata and calamares! They are both so tasty and go perfectly with garlic rice or fried rice.

They also have chopsuey and wow, it's a large serving of vegetables! You really get your money's worth for it. I would prefer though if they were sliced smaller.

Service if food is not that fast though. But you do not have to wait too long. In any case, the food is delicious and would be worth the wait.

Last day in Cebu. I wanted to tru Casa Verde but the queue was unbearable. I am already exhausted from the four day trip. I decided to eat here since I see this restaurant on different marks of the city. Plus it was almost full so I assumed that the place's a must try. I order their classic chicken and calamares. The chicken was actually delicious then it stops the rest was bland. Their calamares was okay but it was too chewy.

Gives the other fried chicken a run for their money. Humble. Homey.

i grew up with Sunburst...it has been for many generation. and when u say Sunburst, it means Go for the chicken--be it rib-keel, thigh, wings, drumstick , or the isol(cebuano language for the ass/tail haha). Try the chicken cracker/skin. there are other menu but i would recommend CHICKEN! afterall, its their specialty! Dip must be worcestershire and the ketchup! if u like u may add tabasco to spice it up! u make the dip urself. so, when in Cebu, u should try it! oh, the coleslaw too! Price is reasonable!

Sunburst Fried Chicken is Cebu’s version of Max’s Fried Chicken. Their unique recipe and affordable price makes me one of their loyal customers.

A typical Sunburst meal comes with 2 pieces of fried chicken, rice, coleslaw and fries. I liked how juicy it was and the crispy skin was so worth it, I’m saying this because I love chicken skin the most. Try mixing worcestershire and tomato ketchup for the sauce.

It satisfied my craving for chicken, and I'm pretty sure if you're a chicken lover like me then you'll enjoy eating here as well.

Wala akong masabi sa chicken. Ang sarap! We only ordered combo meals (1 fried chicken, 1 rice, bihon/lomi/sotanghon, your choice of drink). Sulit.

Insanely better than the langhap sarap chicken.

Moist and tasty for a very cheap price and Not too oily chicken. That in the picture is their 15pc fried chicken tail 128523128523128523 that costs 165 pesos only.

The only thing i dont like about the store is they serve it for 15 to 20mins after your order, they cook their chickens upon ordering. I've asked the waiter if they do it faster and the waiter told me that it always that time cause they are ensuring that the chicken is well cooked. But after him telling me that, I realized that its not a long wait after all.

I hope they bring this one here in manila.
Please sunburst!!!

Now in Cebu attending a conference, i had to literally "escape" my jampacked schedule just to satisfy my craving for Sunburst Chicken.

Ordered my fav calamares and chicken skin...cholesterol overload yet super yummy.

The pancit bihon was a big miss as it tasted bland and unappetizing.

The fried chix was salty to my taste as well.

Wonder why the food taste varies from branch to branch and if it's a franchise or company owned..,

Too bad if their quality standard wouldnt be centralized and uniform as this may cause their downfall.

Anyhow, got to get back to my meetings...

Tmrw is cebu lechon day hehe

Unhealthy as fuck, but I wouldn't have it any other way.

This is a week late from my family's travel back to Cebu and because we're there quite often, this is one of my favorite parts!

You go for the chicken. Simple as that. The chicken is amazing and so is the chicken skin you eat with the Worcester sauce mixed with ketchup. And pretty cheap, too, considering what we ordered!

The first time I went to Sunburst chicken I was skeptical. I mean... There's only one way to do fried chicken right? Boy was I wrong

I don't know what's in the Sunburst chicken batter but their fried chicken is addicting. Top it off with some catsup and worsterschire sauce and you have the perfect combination. Add some of their coleslaw and rice and you have the perfect meal.

I'm excited to go back to Cebu just to have my Sunburst fix. If you've been reluctant to try it, I suggest you enter the restaurant And order yourself some of their chicken. Trust me you won't regret it

BEST chicken ever. perfect with worcestershire + delmonte tomato catsup. Its not oily. its yummy from the skin to the bones! Plus its worth your money. their chicken sets (2-3 pcs, depends what part. i recommend thigh) is not more than 300 pesos! plus the coleslaw is to die for!! This little haven is a must try! the first branch opened in my hometown (iligan city, mindanao) i cant remember when but it was a long time already! and they still hit the spot. hands down!

What a way to start my stay here in Cebu: fried chicken skin, chips, calamari and plates full of fried chicken. I could feel the cholesterol rising up to my brain, but it's all good. Loved the spices in their batter.
