It was truly a great way to end our trip! Lunch at Sunzibar Cafe. We had Nachos Salad (150PHp) for appetizer and I just love their nachos. It's really a must to try their Rum Ribs (395PHp) good for sharing the meat came of the bones so easily and it was delicious.

This restaurant was highly recommended by a colleague who urged me to order their Bangus with hummus. However, I had the pumpkin and mushroom soup, the hot chicken nachos and a quesadilla instead. I loved the soup which was thick and tasty with bits of mushroom. . The nachos was interesting and different from what I'm used to - triangles of crispy tortilla topped with chicken with a gravy like sauce. It tasted good though and the serving is really good for 2 people. By the time I finished the soup and the nachos, I decided to just take the quesadilla home.

I definitely enjoyed eating at this restaurant. It is a cozy place with a shabby chic look. The food choices are interesting and not pricey. Next time, I'll try the Bangus with hummus. That is definitely a combination that I've never had before.

Even before the tragic supher typhoon Yolanda hit Tacloban, we were here for a 3-day medical mission last September.

On our third night, we had no free meal from the mayor so our colleagues from Tacloban toured us and recommded this place for dinner. The moment we step on its doors, we knew it was happy food! They served mexican food that smelled all over the place. We drooled as we waited for our orders.

• FOOD - I had the best tasting rum ribs in my entire life! It was good for 2 already! Their salad nachos should be called 10-second nachos because after the server dropped it on our table, I just took a snapshot of it and tenen! 9-10 seconds have passed and it was gone with the wind, literally piece by piece! The second and third salad nachos disappeared also after 8-10 seconds just like that! I wish I could've captured a video but if I did that, I won't be able to eat anything. Hahahaha

• PRICE - I forgot the price since we were here last September 2013 but for me it was affordable especially if you share it and order different food.

• PLACE - It was situated in the city along with other food chains unknown to people of Manila. It wasn't difficult to find and just a walking distance from our hotel (Hotel Consuelo).

• SERVICE - I don't know if they were kinda slow or we were just too hungry that time. But nevertheless, they were polite and attended to our needs whenever we aked for anything.

If ever I'll come back to Tacloban, I hope I'll get the chance to eat here again. Btw, to all Looloo moderators, I hope you'll have "Libro" and "Rafael's Farm" here in Looloo. They're all from Tacloban. :) Thank you.

If you love Mexican fusion, Sunzibar is the place to go. Its a quaint little spot in Downtown Tacloban that serves the best pepper streak & rum ribs that's good enough for 2 people. The nacho salad is also a must try.
