If there's one thing I love about Surya, it would be their teachers. I've been to other yoga classes before, and I could say that Surya's teachers are the best so far! They really inspire you to push harder, but they also patiently teach you the correct forms of each pose. Some are also really funny and friendly.

Their sessions are the cheapest among all other Makati studios, as well.

The downside: Surya just has one changing room. They also don't have showers, so I don't plan on doing yoga in the morning here. Also, compared to other studios, they don't let you borrow their mats, you have to bring your own. It can be such a hassle to bring a mat on your way here.

I won't mind paying extra for these conveniences, so I hope Surya can do a little renovating.

Last week, my friend and I decided to try yoga. We were able to avail of the deal grocer vouchers. For a discounted price of 500 pesos, we got to try their one week package. Original price is 1000 or 1200.

But since we're busy at work, we were only able to go their twice. Monday and Thursday. Both were Pilates.

How was it? Grabe, intense. We thought yoga was very relaxed, chill and peaceful. But no, it's not. INTENSE WORKOUT TALAGA! 128557 (Oh the things we do so we can eat a lot!!!! Haha) But super fun! The instructor was very nice and really made the session interesting.

The staffs were nice, as well. Location was okay plus parking is free! Yayyy!!!

The only complain, though, is they don't have a good restroom. It's small plus no shower. But since it's after work naman na, we go straight home na lang after.

Overall, we really enjoyed the experience. We are actually considering going back again. To fitness!!! 128588

The thing here is, they've no appropriate changing/shower areas on the yoga center. You still have to go down one floor to the gym. That's a -1 for me.

I attend the Basic by Corey Wills and Hatha by Joy Andres. Both are amazing teachers! They go out of their way to really teach you those difficult poses.
