You should try this japanese bibimba. For only 120 pesos you'll be satisfied with the taste and portion.

This is a very late post / review.

Sometime last year, hubby and I decided to check out this Japanese carinderia we saw in a feature within Saksi (late night GMA news program). So we went on a "waze adventure" just to find this place.

So, we got there. The place, of course, what would you expect from a carinderia. It still is a carinderia. But with a twist. The servers weren't very accommodating but that's okay. We're not in a resto anyways. The place was quite packed as well.

We ordered a variety of Japanese food made of local ingredients (as seen in the photo - gyoza, tempura, kani salad, etc.). Everything's really cheap. As far as I remember, we ordered around 6 food items and our bill was like less than P500. The taste was just okay.

Well just for adventure, I'd still recommend the place. After that, you can go to nearby places like Tayuman where you can find many Catholic stores. Or stretch a bit more and visit the Philippine National Museum.

Nice service! :) Well maybe because im the only customer there. Lol i tried their ham katsu burger with coke for P95. The ate there was really funny and we end up laughing bec i asked for a knife and they gave me...well a knife though but its kinda something for tough slicing :))) at least meron. Haha when i was about to leave, Mr. Suzuki (owner) arrived together with the GMA crew. Seems they're gonna be featured again on tv! Cool! :)

Ah! I've been hearing a lot of good stuff about this carinderia. Starting from my cousin, some friends and my driver. I even made a poem after having an early dinner there with my cousin. Just because I had great time dining there.

For 330 pesos to be exact. We are stuffed with gyoza, my cousin had Gyudon which he said was yummy! I had sukiyaki with a cup of rice which was also yum!

The place is packed at lunch and dinner time. Better come early.

Servers are nice so don't forget to tip generously. :)

Until my next visit.

Oh, sharing you this.

This is how we do it in Tondo
You have to make tusok the squid balls
Or do you like some icecream for just ten pesos
Ride a tricycle and check out this carinderia
Whereas the server is like an artista
Order what you want and wait for your food serve at your lamesa
This is how we do it in Tondo
We eat like there is no tomorrow
