Went here to buy some pasalubong for hubby's friend. The place was nice, clean and has cute interiors so I asked hubby if I can try their cake too. I chose their Red Velvet cake 'cause it looked so promising.

First bite and I already got very disappointed. The cake was so dry. I wasn't able to finish this slice. No cold canned soft drinks as well. What the...

Such a disappointment. We should have gone to the mall and checked other cafes.

Didn't know that there was a place like this near my house haha!

We stepped in and the place was clean and looked bright and inviting. They are available for catering of events as well as customized cakes. You can also order in advance certain special orders.

A bunch of cakes and cupcakes were on display and we happily picked the red velvet cake and the green tea cheesecake to have as pre-dinner munchies haha takaw!

Sadly, the red velvet cake was dry and didn't pack as much flavor as I hoped. The green tea cheesecake on the other hand didn't taste like green tea at all. Whuut. They were both disappointing and I was saddened. Would probably give this place another shot for their main courses some other time.

I love this place! Their cakes and pastries are really good and are reasonably prices. Call in a day in advance to order their egg tarts which I think is comparable to the ones I've had in Macau. Their food is pretty good as well. Their pasta dishes are musts.

Sweet avenue cafe is just walking distance from my work place, so we decided to try eating there for dinner tonight.

They serve meals too, besides the coffee and cakes. And oh, it's less 20% on all their desserts from 3pm onwards during Fridays and whole day Saturday!

I ordered the pesto pasta with pan fried chicken since i was kinda craving for anything with pesto and the girlfriend ordered Creamy porkchop (which comes with free soup, guyabano iced tea and dessert). The guyabano iced tea tasted like water with a little hint of tea from the teabag. We didnt drink it. :( The soup was okay. I was disappointed with my pesto pasta though. :( Super bland!!! Even the parmesan cheese tasted bland. The pan fried chicken were a little toasted, so it was kinda bitter. The creamy porkchop was just okay.. Nothing special. But still lacked the "delicious" taste, parang kulang pa rin sa salt or whatever spices.. It's not so bad but i hope it would improve. But the dessert was yummy! I really liked it.

The staff were very attentive, polite and friendly. The place is cozy too.. Good for catching up with friends :)

I have yet to try their cakes.. Maybe i'll dine again for them. ;)

Why did I discover you just only the other day? Why didn't I discover you when I was still always around Malate. 128518128518128518

Of course! My safest order is Red Velvet Cake.

It's like the Red Velvet Cupcake of Sonja's turns into a cake. So delish. 100841008410084

No words can suffice how much I love it! 128076
