Total food porn with the new dessert stores in F7! Tried the Fudge Chocolate Brownie Ice Cream Bao. It's just a scoop of ice cream put inside a fried bun. Pero the hot bun adds a different tasting experience when eaten with the cold ice cream.

The flavors burst inside your mouth! Heavenly for an ice cream lover like me! 10084

Since Sweet Degrees share the same place with Sugar Stop, and they're new, I got curious of the things they offer... so I decided to check them out to buy something to go with my decadent cake..

They only sell one thing.. ICE CREAM BAO. My first time to see a store selling one for I am used to ice cream sandwiched between cookies such as Phat Boy's, and between breads or biscuits such as those in Singapore... Ice cream baos are pretty new to me. They put a scoop in between mantao.... which is the small soft Chinese buns you usually get as desserts after your meal in restaurants.. Covered in sweet sauce. Mantaos are yummy in itself so I wonder how with ice cream.

Got the GREEN TEA ALMOND BAO, one of their premium flavors together with their sea salt caramel. Their other basic flavors include double chocolate fudge, coffee crumble, and vanilla cream dream. Paid 120 pesos for the bao... Hmmm this better be worth it, my first thoughtsss.

It was not worth it. I did not expect it was that small. I expected something as big as phat boys for that price!! 120 for a small mantao and a scoop of ice cream is crazy. Last time I checked these two are cheap. Nothing out of the ordinary with the taste actually. This did not make me happy. Sayang pera. 128531

Funny that even the lady in charge of the stall was not too sure when I asked her about her products. 128517 must be the soft opening jitters? idk! haha! not going to try their other variants unless they make them cheaper! 128514
