Swiftlets Inn was my home in El Nido from Aug 1-5 when I had a work to there.
I arrived on a Monday afternoon. My sleepless and tired from 6-hour drive self got irritated with how the hotel person approached me... "Ano pong hanap nyo sa hotel namjn?" 🙄 Not sure if I was just sensitive that time, or that's a norm in locals, but I really didn't like them. When I told them I booked here, they suddenly gave me the key to my room.
The room was nice, clean, and very basic. I got what I paid for. The aircon and cable TV works well. Their wifi password was posted on the wall beside the door. It worked well too. Bathroom has a bath tub. 🏽 As of the hot and cold shower, it was posted in the bathroom door that they use "solar heater"-- you have to let the water running for straight 1-2 minutes before it gets heated. They change the towels every day and they clean the rooms everyday. I didn't have an issue with security, I left some of my valuables inside the hotel room when I have to go out for the whole day and still find it all inside when I return. But I'm not advising you to do that. 🏼️
They serve free plated breakfast too! Only available from 6AM to 10AM. Instant coffee, tea, and chocolate (Milo) is free 24/7. They offer laundry services too for P75 per kilo. Give your clothes to them between 8am to 4pm and you'll get it 5PM the next day.
Oh did I mention aside from its room amenities, you get a view of Taraw Cliff as well? Sooooo beautiful. In the morning, if you're observant enough, you'll find small monkey swinging and crawling along Taraw.
