Affordable sushi yet the quality and taste didn't disappoint. Php99 for 8pcs of sushi, and Php449 for 35pcs. Of all the variety, my favorite was the TKHM Roll. I loved how the salmon was really tasty and the ingredients were generous.

Service was a bit slow but it was okay. Waiting's worth it if you get to take these home 10084
Also, it would be best to consume these within the day. Reheating, according to their staff, will degrade its quality. (And I totally agree lol)

It is so affordable!!!
I tasted their salmon and tuna sushirito and I like the tuna more. Their tuna sushirito is to die for at a very affordable price! It is spicy (but I love spicy!!!). I also tasted their TKHM roll it is good but it has to much mayo for my taste. And if you are a bacon lover you should taste their bacon bomb!

I was so excited to try their makis since the first time we visited we were told that the wait time was over an hour, so no thanks.

Anyhow, my officemate ordered the wagyu cubes and spicy salmon roll (which he said was yummy) and I had:

8pcs MIGORI (torched salmon, miso mayo and nori)
It was an utter disappoinment, although the presentation looks yummy, you could literally only taste the rice. There was nothing special about it. I felt bad because I was soo looking forward to trying it out.

I will give it another try.

If you're really craving for sushi at a very limited budget, i guess... In fairness, they still served me even if i arrived minutes after their closing time.

So after reading much reviews and hype, I was finally able to taste them. Found out my sister's classmate owns (or has a share in) the business. She was able to have a take out. Shown is TKMH roll and Migori. I actually wanted dragonball but it was sold out already. It's an affordable place with 99 Php for 8 pcs. Of course I'll try again and taste others too. 128523

Tastewise, I actually prefer Migori than TKMH. Maybe I'm not fond of bonito, that's why the taste didn't make that happy but taste is still decent. I don't like too much cream cheese on my sushi rolls soI like how it's just enough to know it's there but not too much that it overpowers. I only gave a 4 because I didn't enjoy the bonito (which I admitted is my fault) and that I wanted to try their service at their store too. 128513

Quite disappointed with the quality of rolls they make. The rice they use is not sushi rice (or even sticky rice) hence it lessens the flavor. There's a place nearby for cheap but sulit sushi.

Kuripot ProTip: it's 99 pesos/8pcs sushi of a kind. it's 299 for 24 pcs of sushi of different kinds (not sure if they allow different kinds of sushi at different quantities). If you're getting the three better choices (Spicy Tuna, Dragon Ball, and TKHM Roll), just get 3 orders of 8 pcs sushi. You'll save a whopping Php2! 128514128514

One thing to note is the consistency - it isn't. My friend ordered their Spicy Tuna before and it was waaay better than what we had earlier. The Dragon Ball sushi was my instant favorite! It was a cool-then-rainy Wednesday night, so I was surprised that they still had stocks @ 830pm. Yay! They're also opening soon at Lilac Street.

Not sure, but my friend and I finished the 24pcs in 15mins. I asked her if normal ba yun kasi sabi 3-4 people raw. 128528

Good news for everyone who wants their kuripot-ako-pero-gusto-ko-ng-sushi cravings fixed! TaKeHome Sushi is perfect for you. 128514128513

TA KE HO ME serves decent tasting sushis at an affordable price. smaller than usual but generally good taste wise.

tried their salmon rice balls and did not like them that much. It's like a ball of rice with salmon and mayo in the middle. rice was too sticky and proportion with the salmon was not right. too much rice. taste of salmon and mayo was underwhelming.

best to call them in advance if you wanna order for takeout. dine in available but they have a small space. delivery i heard is coming soon 128077🏻

I have mixed emotions about the food, but service and price is worth an additional star.

I personally didnt enjoy the tuna rice ball and anything with salmon, but my dad said he did - so the food must be alright.

24pcs of sushi and a chinese takeout box of tuna-stuffed rice for 500php is a good deal. Plus, we had our food delivered to katipunan from tomas morato and it arrived intact and hot!

Will definitely be back tho.. I would love to try the sushirito. 128522

Well, the maki was good at 99 for 8 pcs. I didn't enjoy the salmon rice ball much—maybe I was expecting something else. It tasted a little bland for me.

It's okay if you're around the area, might be a good place to get your sushi fix. If I were to order here again (I did delivery), I would try their sushirritos maybe. :)

Super affordable sushi rolls! 128076🏼

This is just a stall, air-conditioned though, beside a carwash. Inside, they have a few seats available if you'd like to eat there. Outside is a common area with picnic tables to be shared among customers of all 3 food stalls there.

Love love love love 128147128147128147 Im a huge Japanese cuisine fan so when I read about this store, I dragged my friend to go here with me.
These are probably the most sulit sushi rolls Ive had. The one in the right most (see photo) was my favorite. The one in the left was the Dragon roll. It has smoked salmon in it. Although it tasted fine, I noticed that the spices used were overpowering. In the middle was the spicy tuna roll which was so good except for the fact that it wasnt spicy at all. Would love to go back to try their other flavors! The tuna sashimi was ok although it looked pale in the photo.

299php for 24 pcs, you can mix up to 3 flavors

My sister and I got bored this afternoon, so we decided to check this place out.

Yes, it was affordable but the taste wasn't as good as I would have hoped. The special sauce wasn't that special it kinda ruined the taste of it. They didn't use Japanese mayo. It tasted like Lady's Choice mayo.

We ordered:
Migori
Spicy Tuna
TKHM Roll

I suggest requesting the servers to put the special sauce on the side so you'll get to try it and see if it will pass your taste hehe

I found Ta Ke Ho Me here at the Looloo app, from a particular review (Thanks, Julie J!) and I can't wait to check it out already.

I'm really a maki fan ever since, and when I saw that review, I immediately checked their facebook page! I love how cheap their makis cost. (P.S I'm still a student who saves her allowance so she can support her foodie needs, so please bear with my $$$ budget)

Since everything's pretty affordable, I think it's really nice to step out from my comfort zone and try some of their flavors. (Since I always order Cali Maki)

Ta Ke Ho Me is pretty far from my place, but since I really can't wait to check out their place, I decided to go on my own.

From Shang (Shaw blvd), I rode the MRT ➡️ Quezon Ave, then tricycle for only 20 pesos!

So, as soon as I spotted the place, I went inside, and I agree, it's consider as a ~stand~ since it's quite small. They are literally located in front of ABS CBN.

I was really happy when I'm about to order since I went to a unfamiliar place just for my ~foodie adventures~ ALONE!

What made me sad about this experience was that you only need to choose one from their menu if you're going to order 8pcs only / 99php. I decided to go safe and just order California Maki.

I can't order 24pcs for myself?! And it's also hassle for me to bring home everything. It's a bit frustrating because I saw photos from their facebook page that there are 2 kinds of makis in one 8pcs box.

I'll give a 110881108811088️ stars for their Maki since it's good and affordable.

But if I'm craving for a California Maki, maybe I'd still choose Tokyo Tokyo's, since their Makis are more ~malaman/bigger~

P.S Didn't have a decent ~looloo worthy~ picture of their California Maki though!

Sobrang annoying, when i first saw this akala ko the name was something Japanese.... Yun pala "TAKE HOME" Lang talaga..... 128557

I'm not sure if it you could call this authentic sushi (their salmon rolls seemed to use smoked salmon, if my taste buds are accurate), but it's pretty tasty regardless. I've tried 3 of their sushi flavors (migori, dragon ball, and spicy tuna) and I have to say that the spicy tuna is my favorite. It is not spicy at all, which is kinda disappointing, but it was still good. I think they douse it in kewpie sesame dressing, which was funny. Try the dragon ball if you're in the mood for something super spicy. I didn't really like it cause it really tasted like smoked salmon (di bagay haha) and the spice was too intense for me because it was literally coated in the Japanese chili powder.

They also have rice balls, which I assumed were onigiri but turned out to be more of deconstructed sushi with layers of tuna and rice. I also enjoyed this! Their sashimi was also okay.

One thing I really liked was their interiors! Small space lang cause I think they empasize take out, but it was very light and airy with a cool mural on the wall. Parking is limited to none, but since it's beside a car wash my friend decided to get his car washed na lang hahaha (P80 lang - not bad lol).

I believe they're still in their soft opening phase, so I'm excusing the lack of some menu items (ubos or wala pang migori, which I wanted 128533). They also had like 4 saucers for kikkoman lang lol.

I've been here twice and plan on coming back! Sobrang sulit eh, 99 pesos for pretty good sushi.

Pro tip: always get the 99 for 8 pieces!!! They sell 24 pieces for 299 and 35 pieces for 449, but if you do the math the 8 piece order always comes out cheaper I think! Hahahahah math 128150

The name says it all 128514 Ta Ke Ho Me - this is a take out sushi place about a month old just across ABS-CBN... Right beside Backyard Burger.

Although most of the clients come in for take out, they do have a few tables for those who want to dine in... The menu is pretty simple...Sushi, Rice Balls, Sashimi (tuna & Salmon) and Sushiritos (Burrito style Sushi) They also have Wagyu Cubes. @899/500 grams & Smoked Salmon @189/100 grams.

Their sushi is served in cute boxes of 8 pcs @99 , 24 pcs @299 & 40 pcs @449. You get to choose what sushi you want in your box 128522 Pretty ideal for get togethers/ potluck gatherings... We tried the 40 pc box set which had 5 kinds of sushi... 8 pcs of each kind.

- California Maki - Kani, mango & ebiko
-TKHM Rolll - Smoked Salmon, Cream Cheese & Bonito flakes
- Spicy Tuna
- Migori - torched salmon, mayo & Nori
- Dragon Ball - Salmon wraps around rice and mango .. If you're into spicy sushi, this one's pretty hot 128541

Everything was good, I liked the California, TKHM roll and Migori the most. The pricing is very reasonable IMO... Hope I can get to try the other items next time!

My only problem was the wait time, It took us 30 minutes to get our order 128533 So I suggest calling beforehand and then pick up your orders (0977-8578744)
