Had to look for a cheap hotel for a short overnight stay at Tagaytay for a wedding my friends and I were going to attend the next morning. After a few clicks on Google, we found Tagaytay Haven Hotel. The nightly rate for 3 people was pretty cheap and it seemed reasonable from the look of the place (based on their photos, that is). The cheapest room was at a rate of 2,048/night for 3 people. The room included 1 single bed, 1 queen bed, a flat screen tv mounted on the wall, a cabinet, and a bathroom with hot/cold shower.

First the location- it's farther down the Tagaytay-Nasugbu road and not really close to where all the food places are at Tagaytay. However it did have a Jollibee branch in front (not 24hrs though). The hotel front isn't along the road, but they have a tarp that's fairly visible even at night. They had ample parking space.

It was already around 12MN when we checked-in yet the staff remained very warm and accommodating. Unfortunately they don't have any special late check-in rates but they do have hourly rates (350/hr). We passed by a mini workout area/gym on our way to our room.

The room was quite small and looked/smelled pretty old (the door knob and locks were very rusty). It had minimal lighting and the elements on the wall (upholstered headboard etc) didn't seem to match the furniture in terms of positioning). The room didn't feel generally clean but the sheets were okay. The TV only had two channels. The bathroom wasn't so clean either, but it was tolerable. Had a heater but the water wasn't strong. The room came with usual amenties- towel + some toiletries.

Overall it was okay, recommend this place for people who need a cheap place to stay! Reservation was quick and no hidden charges!

My relatives arrived from Cebu to step out for sometimes from all the shaking they get everyday from the aftershock of the recent earthquake. And from the airport we went straight to tagaytay as planned, and there we waited for our check in time. overall the place gives a good value to your money, okay let me put it in a checklist.

128076 nice lobby
128076 friendly staffs
128076 fast service
128076 clean room with bath
128076 cool a/c
128076 fast wifi
128076 pretty clean pool
128076 nice tv with cable
128076 accessible (just near savemore and ace hardware)

128078 they ask for full payment ahead from the day of check in
128078 late check in time, 2pm
128078 buffet breakfast that came with the room was just for two and it sucks, one refill only per viand!

we had a family room with 3 queen sized beds good for 6, but children are free, for 4130. 128077128077 inquired the 2 person bedroom and it costs 1950, not bad! a good value for money, so for those who are on a budget but wants a good hotel feeling for their overnight sleep, head here. 128516
