They didn't have airconditioning when I visited and it was a hot summer's day! Service was quick, but the staff who attended to me was a little masungit. I ordered crazy roll and crunchy roll. I don't remember which is which though, but I really liked the one with crunchy tempura flakes and kani toppings (the other one was spicy tuna toppings). The rolls were really small though, for 200, so lower points for that. Overall, I would go back here for a maki fix!

Food was okay. I suggest you try their rolls and green tea ice cream. I swear, the ice cream was soooo good.

#12Days
We saw it was full so , daughter urged me to try the place. We ordered Cali maki crispy since most of the items are not available, due to Holiday maybe :-( it was good! We want to try more of their sushi & maki sadly no more selection. Ramen & Fish was so-so considering the price, daughter & I was thinking we ordered the wrong food since place is full so we assumed quality is quiet good. Ramen taste more like ordinary chicken mami & fish is so soggy we didn't quiet finished it. And ......cash basis only:-(

California Maki php150 - 2/5
Spicy Tantan men php190 - 2/5
Salmon Sashimi php330 - 2.5/5
California Maki was 'malansa' or fishy. Salmon sashimi were cut thickly and were not fatty. Spicy tantanmen was good but was too pricey for its size.

Ordered a Kani salad, Crazy Maki and Matcha Ice cream. Everything was good, considering the price. Don't expect too much, but even though they didn't use really good Japanese rice, the crazy maki was delicious. Beats Tokyo Tokyo for sure. The matcha ice cream is legit as well. I drink matcha tea, and I would know if it's the real thing. These two are a must when going there!

The place doesn't look Japanese-y though. Nonetheless, it's still worth a try if you're looking for something new in maginhawa.

Ooh another four stars! Well hear me out. Im in love with all things japanese and korean so i got these food cravings twice-thrice a week or even once a day if i get really crazy. So having my japanese food fix is a life saver for me and this small japanese resto did just that. It did not only satisfy my cravings but it was worth every penny.

The taste is quite far from the best japanese restos i have visited, so take it easy with the high expectations, but their prices were budget friendly the taste is good for its price and the serving is totally worth it. In short, its good value for your money.

The waitresses were very attentive although some of them were friendly, some of them looked sad. We ordered the crazy roll, japchae and tempura with green tea and matcha ice cream for dessert. Dont you just love matcha? I know I do. 128525 127861 I just wish this place wont be overcrowded too soon parking space is scarce haha but oh well. Cravings satisfied indeed!

I don't know, but I find this place as an alternative for Yabu specially when you're out of budget.
It tastes just the same, except it's not unlimited so yeah, that's probably the difference there.. 1285139996

Newest Japanese resto in Maginhawa.

Good for Japanese food craving. It's not the best, it's no Little Tokyo, but its a nice little nook to satisfy cravings.

#gamerchef tried the beef dish and he liked it. I tried the miso ramen and also liked it. We also shared the black sesame ice cream. Homey. Not too expensive. Serving is just right.

We'll be back to try more things.

Chanced upon this resto currently on soft opening. Mt brother and I got curious as its one of the newest kids on the block.

Japanese food at affordable prices and "sakto" serving size. It tastes good for its price.

I ordered the seafood over fried rice bento (165php). It comes with free red iced tea. Then we had crazy roll (200php) - 8 pcs maki with tuna and salmon topped with kani.

New Japanese resto at Maginhawa. Very authentic Japanese food indeed!! LOVE THEIR EBI TEMPURA!! Generous servings? YES! They also have Student meals. Price? Not so much pricey. However, they should add more dishes to their menu.

Will go back there? FOSHO. 1285229996
