Brought my son with me to this resort because I had a week-long workshop (thanks to friends at the CBCP-NASSA/Caritas Filipinas). My son thoroughly enjoyed our stay and so did I.

The food was awesome!!! Homecooking at its finest. The GM and staff were very approachable, helpful and responsive to guests' needs. Their function areas are spacious (especially the ones at the second floor... The ground floor ones are for small group sessions). The pool and the sunbathing decks are perfect for enjoying the sunset and the sunrise.

I did not get to do water sports but heard there are a few one can enjoy but best to go with a group when you visit Tamaraw. If you plan on taking in some solitude, there's space for that here as well. The rooms are comfortable enough with fairly decent bathrooms. The fact that everyone has a shared balcony per floor is nice because it affords the opportunity to take in nature in its entirety (wide blue skies, happy chirping of the birds flying from tree to tree)...

The unique feature of this resort is its underground chapel made of stones. It is a beautiful chapel and I regret I did not get to take a photo of it (so I have put a photo of my son, Itos, while hanging out at the resort bar with me). The chapel is a serene respite where one can give thanks for the beauty that surrounds the place.

The other nice thing about Tamaraw is you can do your own grilling if you like. Buy some local seafood and have a barbecue party by the poolside. Drink some brewskies (if they don't have your preferred drink, all you have to do is ask the GM or staff to buy your preferred drink when they do morning market and they will happily oblige).

Holding a seminar here was a nice break. Nature helped ease the stress of generating workshop outputs and summarizing reports. I would go back and visit this place.

Finally, there is a central area near the lobby where guests can play an electric piano or just hang out and read books left by past guests of the resort. I was given a book as a souvenir that has significantly influenced my practice and am most thankful for ("The Laws of Spirit"). But that's another story altogether....

Its my 3rd time here. And still the best place to relax at Puerto Galera.

✔️Away from the crowd of white beach. But, if you still want to party. Its just 15 mins walk away. Or take a tricycle for 100php.
✔️Relaxing, We go on a vacation to relax and to be away of the stress from manila. Why stay on a crowded and noisy place?
✔️Security, almost all area of the resort is secured by a cctv camera.
✔️clear water, not too fine sands, beautiful pebbles stone.
✔️Infinity pool.
✔️lots of activity. Jetski, bananaboat, island hopping, paragliding, kayaking, karaoke, etc.
✔️value for money. I spent just 6k for 3d2n of stay. Good for 5pax free 2children
✔️Good service, food was okay. Waiting for the food to be served is my only complain.
✔️strong signal with free wifi at their lobby.
✔️best halo halo

Puerto galera is always on my list. Tamaraw beach is always my choice.

Best breakfast ever! This place is great for summer vacation. We'll definitely come back and stay longer. 4 days is not enough but it was full of fun and activities. Cheaper than Boracay and money is all worth it!128076
