since someone in our group is either allergic to seafood or can't eat pork because he's muslim or can't eat beef because he's buddhist, we ate almost all kinds of cooking of chicken.

I 128156 Thai food!

After hours of walking at the mall, we decide to get a quick bite. As SM Aura has lots of interesting restaurants, we decided to try Tamarid!

We were still a bit full from lunch and having rice at 3:30pm is too early for dinner so we just decided to get something light yet filling. So we just ordered,

127860 Gai Thod (chicken wings) - the menu says that it is marinated Thai style. So upon serving the food, my tastebuds was excited to taste a different kind of chicken wings..."Thai Style". I got a piece and tasted the meat without the sauce. The skin was crisp and the meat was cooked perfectly, tender and moist. As for the flavor, I was expecting something different. The taste was just 128076๐Ÿป. It's like eating a really good seasoned and perfectly cooked fried chicken wings128513. Nothing spectacular. I guess the sweet chili sauce is the "Thai Style" twist. Overall, chicken was really tasty and good, not just the "Thai" wings as what we expected and price versus serving size is not proportioned, for this dish it is a 127775127775127775.

127860 Pad Thai (prawn) - visually it looks good! However the size of the shrimp 127844 was a let down 128542 since we were expecting shrimps which are "prawn size". Likewise it's overcooked and not fresh (it's like eating overcooked frozen shrimp 128529). The
Presentation is very much different than the other Pad Thai's I had in the past. For instance, usually it's served with shredded egg or styled as a net covering the noodles. But this one is shaped like a bowl or like the noodles are wrapped inside. Second, there are no sides like the chili and nuts (which is favorable for me as I can adjust the heat of what I'll eat). However, it seems that they scrimp on the other ingredients. Overall, I 128156 the taste. You can really savor the flavor of the sweet-sour tamarind sauce. The rice noodles are cooked to perfection, as there is a nice bite to it! (Its taste reminds me of one of my go to restos whenever I'm at BKK). This dish should have been a solid 4127775 for me however the 127844 was a let down so its just a 127775127775127775 for me.

In general, I like the ambiance, small yet cozy and clean. Service was 128077๐Ÿป, food taste 128523, and presentation of the food is visually appealing. Will I go back? Though there were some hit and misses, I would definitely go back as I would like to taste their other dishes. And I will surely get Pad Thai but this time I'll probably stick to chicken or go vegetarian. Overall, this visit is a 127775127775127775 1/2.

Just a 128221, I just thought for the dishes we ordered, it seems as the serving size is kinda small versus the price. For someone who is hungry and have a hearty appetite, these dishes are good for 128105๐Ÿป person only. But for those with a "diet-mode" kind of appetite, this may be good for 128105๐Ÿป128105๐Ÿป. But I highly doubt it, because me and my friend were a bit full then and the Gai Throd and most especially the Pad Thai gives us a feeling that it is bitin!

Ordered green papaya salad, crispy noodles and bagoong rice. We wanted to order more but the waiter advised that they serve big portions and the 1st three orders were enough for 2. Sure enough, it's even more than enough. The papaya salad is 128150 except for the salted fish with it which is too hard (not crispy at all), the bagoong rice is good (something that I will have again) the crispy noodle only tastes like pancit canton and has no thai kick in it. The restaurant is small but the tables are spaced properly, it doesn't feel too crowded. The interior is cozy. The service staff are nice.

Sawasdee ka! 128591๐Ÿผ

One of the best thai restaurants you can find in BGC area.

1. Thai Bagoong Rice is really good!
2. Soft shell crab in tamarind sauce is good but the sauce is a bit strong.
3. Mixed seafoods tom yum 128077๐Ÿผ128077๐Ÿผ128077๐Ÿผ
4. Lapu lapu in chili garlic sauce 128077๐Ÿผ128077๐Ÿผ128077๐Ÿผ

Tom Yum

Spicy, tangy, fiery, hot
Delicious, tasty, flavorful pot!
Soup and meal equal to none
For Thai food lovers, this is the one!

The sweat on my brow flows no end
Each spoonful is a master's blend
Hearty broth so full of flavor
Lively dish I gladly savor

Clams and squid fresh and plenty
Shrimps and veggies two times twenty
Smile on my lips in full not part
I love this dish with all my heart!

I was really scared to try new restaurants because I don't want to be disappointed especially when I'm very hungry, but Tamarind didn't fail to meet my expectations. I loved everything my boyfriend and I ordered. 10084๏ธ we left the restaurant with a huge smile and a happy tummy. 128513 you guys should try their soft crab in chili basil!

I love thai cuisine and I enjoyed the dishes we had here. Flavors are authentic but no oomph factor. The ambience and food prep is great too. My main concern is when you feel tricked into ordering way too much and the manager herself doesn't even show any concern despite the fact that you're obviously dining just for two. Sure we were hungry and all but when you get asked if you've ordered way too much, you're supposed to say yes and not "tama lang" because when we got our orders, it was good for 5. We did ask her if the servings were small and she said yes, so we ended up ordering more but I know we're somehow both at fault for not trusting our instinct since we did have a 300gms fish already! Lol Anyway, I'd still recommend this place since the food is good, learned our lesson well for paying 3k+ on a thai restau for two. 128517

I love thai food! I can live in thailand bcoz I really like their food especially the tom yum! And Tamarind didn't dissapoint me, I love the place and staff. The place is relaxing and the washroom is big so yeah!

The food is delicious except for the eggplant thing that we ordered.

We ordered, tom yum, pad thai, rice (forgot what kind of rice), chicken something, spring rolls and I forgot the others. We finished everything.

hoping next time they can lessen the oil for the fried rice. not a fan of the flavors of this place - other thai restaurants have better versions of tilapia, pad thai and satay

There's a reason why I kept walking pass this place whenever I was in sm aura. The intuition of instinctively knowing the food in the establishment will be an utter failure. But tonight my cravings for authentic thai food got the best of me. I believe this establishment is owned by the same chefs who put up jatujak. Which I personally like. So I decided to to give this a go. We ordered the following:

-chicken pad see ew - too soupy and was nowhere close to how authentic pad see ew should taste. On top of that the chicken was undercooked to the point of being raw!!! The picture does not do it justice as to how raw it was. I didn't bother to have them redo it because we had just returned the other dish which I described below. So we just ate the noodles.

-lapu lapu steamed - the fish most likely was old. It was very MALANSA! After the 1st bite we returned it. The chef was kind enough to acknowledge that so they took it off the bill.

-fried shrimp cakes - forgettable.

-tom yum shrimp soup - it was ok but it was way to prawny tasting then it should be. The shrimp was slightly undercooked so the head of the prawns inside was too watery which gave the over powering taste of the raw prawns in the soup.

Whats with this place? Everything was undercooked or raw. 128547. My hunger turned into disbelief. We left the place disappointed. Service was good though but most likely will not return. I should have followed my intuition to walk pass this place. 128513

Tamarind mildly satisfied my Thai craving. Mild because eating Thai for me equates tasting extra strong ingredients/flavors and our orders were mediocre on that sense, however scrumptious. We had Shrimp Pad Thai, Seafood Tom Yum and Sorong Hai ( thai style ribeye steak ). All of them are reasonably priced: a dish can serve 3. I loved the deep fried egg crumbs on top of the Pad Thai and being a steak lover, the rib eye steak served medium rare with Thai flavorings is a thumbs up. I considered it a steak with a twist, plus lean meat! Ambiance is superb, the lightings worked for the food also, table setup & food presentation are nice. Improvements could be done on their sticky rice which dried up too fast, also, on serving their food especially the Tom Yum soup on its best temperature while its still extra hot.

Pad thai chicken is freakin awesome! I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of food that was on my plate and you can actually split one order for two. Very accommodating staff and another great Thai place to go to here in BGC area.

Best Thai resto I have ever tried here in the Metro.

Ordered Tom Yum with Prawns, spicy level is medium. Prawns are VERY fresh, and it tasted sweet. The broth of the soup had the perfect balance of being sour and spicy. BEST TOMYUM I HAVE EVER TASTED.

Tried out their Chicken with Cashews. Asked the waiter if it was spicy, and he said "mild lang po".... but NO. It was really spicy, perfectly paired with a cup of hot, plain rice. Only con - serving was too small... and sana the waiter did not say na mild lang :))

Laslty, we tried their Yellow Beef Curry. It was somewhat sweet, which was a perfect balance for the spicy TomYum and chicken. If you are bringing your kids to Tamarind, this is a good dish for them. It is not spicy at all.

Service was okay, waiters were attentive and smiling all the time. They are very pleasant :)

Their bagoong rice wasnt fresh, pad thai was ok, curry with thick sauce and peanuts was ok as well, and the thai iced tea was fine. All the food we ordered tasted a tad salty tho.

I'm a fan of thai cuisine and glad this restaurant didn't disappoint. Everything is tasty and to rave for. Their pad thai is so authentic like the ones I had in Bangkok. The boneless crispy pata might appear yo be Filipino but they served this with a thai sauce that is perfectly paired with the tenderness of the meat. I am definitely coming back anytime I crave for a dose of thai.

First time for me to eat here and if there's such a thing as love at first sight with restos, this is my "the one".

Everything we ate was well seasoned and presented in a simple but appetizing way.

We started with the catfish salad. The taste and texture was just wonderful.

We also ordered grilled pork belly. There's no one flavor to describe it as in one bite, you'd experience smokiness, sweetness and something else beyond my vocabulary. :)

Surprisingly, the star of the show for me was the stir-fried snowpeas with shrimp. Looked very unassuming but I swear, it's the best version of snowpeas I've tasted. That's saying a lot as that.'a my hubby's fave veggie and so we eat that often.

Lastly, had tamarind shake. Not sure if this is for everyone but, if you like the trad sampaloc candies bought from the market... you know, the ones wrapped in yellow cellophane with both sugar and rock salt coating, then you should try this!

Can't wait to eat here again.
