Ever since I tasted their Takoyaki, I never want to eat from any other place that serve the same. Their takoyakis became my 'benchmark' for how these wonderful balls should be. Love the Squid Satay and Seasoned Octopus variants. All the others taste equally good. Love Tamayaki!

With Everything At Steak closed this lunch time, Tamayaki is my next option during this rare visit to San Juan. I ordered the octopus tamayaki (P115), pork miso ramen (P185) and Lychee cold tea (P75).

Pork miso ramen is ok lang based on the price, they gave me extra broth but I got overwhelmed with the saltiness and I wasn't even done with the initial serving of broth.

The supposed star of their menu which is the tamayaki (or takoyaki) turned out to be a major fail for me. The outer part is too crunchy for a takoyaki---it feels fried and not cooked in the usual takoyaki thingamajig. It was too much starch and it lacks flavor. Honestly, I enjoyed the P30 mall takoyaki more than this.

The lychee tea is a bit sweet and I wasn't able to finish the regular serving. I dont know if they allow you to choose the level of sweetness but the server didn't give me an option.

Hana and Octoboy remains to be the best takoyaki places in Manila for me.

One of the beat tasting takoyaki in the metro. Great okonomiyaki too. The place is well lit and has nice interiors. The 2nd floor is for Japanese casual dining.

Been craving for some Takoyaki lately and Tamayaki's Chicken Teriyaki did not disappoint!

Just the right Takiyaki size, enough toppings and affordable. Good thing this branch is really close to where I live! 128077🏼

I have yet to try an authentic takoyaki, but right now I really love Tamayaki's takoyaki. I love how it is somewhat crispy and has this real octopus inside, but don't expect for a generous piece; the sauce is a little strong in taste but still complement their takoyaki. They are however pricey for 4pcs but if you don't have any problem with money, then I highly recommend this. It is by far the best takoyaki I have tried here in Manila. :)

Their foods are good, service is average.

But what's special in this restaurant is that, this is very cute and japanese. Great for otakus or people who are into kawaii things/places.

4.7/5 rating also for the food presentation because not all have fancy decorations.

Be careful!!! This is fake takoyaki. It's not Japanese one. Its sauce is different and I don't like it.

Imagine japanese balls or what they call as takoyaki in different flavors since they've been adding different ingredients such as squid, etc and they serve milk teas and shakes as well. There's this cool treat where they place the takoyaki in a container to be placed in top of a milk tea. You get to eat and drink in one cup 128076

Tamayaki is a bomb. What I mean is, they fill it in that with each bite you might feel already full. The sauce is awesome that is plain sweet-sour.

The takoyaki balls would just cost you about Php 95 - 115 and are good for a single serving or may be shared with a special loved one.

Before and after I tried their fruit teas and takoyaki, I wasn’t only amazed but I am more than satisfied.

The modern hub is perfect to gather your family, friends or even workmates in San Juan area. This place is indeed a drug that will set your mood to relax and care for a long sensible chitchat. I bet you could not tell that Tamayaki is a franchise from China!

So whenever your tummy crumbles during merienda time or any time of the day, it is best and recommended option to stop over by Tamayaki. 128077

I'm pretty sure that these is my nth time revisiting Tamayaki just to redeem the discount promos like |ooloo special, Metro deal and clickthecity. And that's why we were very familiar to their crew haha 128517

What I love most about Tamayaki is the selection of food and drinks at the massive discount. I love every minute of being here that offers a one-of-a-kind atmosphere as we search for something new.

Fruit tea and Takoyaki balls are one of my favorite Asian comfort food so I’m glad they are just in the neighborhood to fix my craving. I’m happy and contented with the sale that’s exclusively provided by Tamayaki.

They now have a new branch in SM North. Was quite curious as this was recommended by a friend from work and said that they serve good Takoyakis, so I came in... Ambiance was good although I'm pretty sure you'll leave smelling like a takoyaki yourself. I ordered their Seasoned Octopus Takoyaki, presentation was ok, they come in colorful take-out boxes and a hot pink fork... As for the taste, the takoyaki has a crunchy exterior, inner is soft. There were bits of octopus in mine and a few other fillings (veggies) but it was too few for its price of PhP105.00. The curry sauce was ok... The sweet one was over-powered by the taste of the breading. It's a little bit hard to eat since it came in a small box and just a fork... Over-all, for me it's too pricey for a Takoyaki.

Looking for a sweetener that would ease you in a dry, rough and hot day? And a foodie that wouldn’t only fill in your stomach but pleases the tongue? I’m telling you, this milk tea & takoyaki place called Tamayaki has it and they are very ready to serve you with sugar smiles. 128523

At first, I have never been a fan of Takoyaki but when I tried their version, I must say that I have changed my mind. They don’t let their guests down for each Tamayaki is a bomb. What I mean is, they fill it in that with each bite you might feel already full. The sauce is awesome that is plain sweet-sour.

It there's a loyalty award in Tamayaki for those who visited them many times in a year, I'm pretty sure I can have that award. Every time I visited them, I wasn’t only amazed but I am more than satisfied. So I'll surely come back very soon haha 128516

This is not your usual takoyaki place. It's a milk tea + takoyaki place in one! Their takoyakis (tamayaki) have an unusual twist in flavors, which you can really taste and appreciate.

Unless you're a super takoyaki fan, it's not a place you'll be fond of going to though--a bit pricey as well.

As for the milk tea selection, it's not different from other milk tea places as well.

But it's a good try!

Planned to go for a walk around Wilson San juan to discover new foodie spots. My agenda was to taste something new in a new ambiance. I stumbled at Tamayaki during that evening walk.
I ordered their Chrysanthemum Milk tea and had 1 order of Tamayaki.
Tamayaki is not alien to me so i really had an idea what it tastes like. Unfortunately, That tamayaki I tried was overflowing with flour. the supposed seafood inside were just tiny bits that my tongue couldnt even remember the taste after a minute of chewing.
On the other hand, their milk tea got my taste buds wanting for more. The chrysanthemum flavor worked really well for me. I think it will be better if they size-up their "large" cup. looks like large is only the regular cup of other famouse taiwanese milk tea stores. That milk tea was one good choice I made, sadly not the tamayaki which is their flag carrier.

I don't think I'll spend a hundred bucks for their tamayaki again.

Pray, Eat and Love.

Cheers,
The Food Scout
