Food : Chicken chops, squid chops and takoyaki
- everything is good but serving time is really long!!

Drink: ordered Apple Aloe and missing aloe haha. It tasted like jelly ace

Ambience: no internet inside and chairs are wobbly. 128530

Over all: just ok but not a place I'd go to often.

I love takoyaki so I decided to try tama yaki at SM North Edsa. I was amaze at different takoyaki flavor from seasoned octopus, kani and shrimp to chicken gizzard. The price range is from 115 to 125 for 4 pcs takoyaki. It may sound so pricey but you need to try and compare this takoyaki taste. I love the outerpart of the takoyaki because it has crispy outer layer. You can choose from spicy, not spicy or mixed sauce. You can also have additional toppings. If you can't decide what to try, try the takoyaki sample which you can choose 4 kind of takoyaki. We order apple aloe for the drinks but I think it is not good because of the little bitter taste and I like my drinks cold if it is aloe. I haven't try their noodles but I think because they specialize with takoyaki I'll go back there for another takoyaki flavor.

This place is such a colorful and lively place to dine at! For the takoyaki, we tried their Seasoned Octopus and Smoked Mackerel. For the tea, we tried their Blueberry Cheese. I found everything yummy, even their takoyaki sauces. Service crew was polite and nice. However, I don't think the place is well-kept. Tables were dirty and still had remnants of any mess previous diners made. Dining experience could be better.

I'm a takoyaki lover so im not a stranger with it! I was dissapointed with the tamayaki I tried, it was overflowing with flour. the supposed seafood inside were just so tiny i cant even taste it! i can understand it if its only cheap 128557 I don't think I'll spend a hundred bucks for their tamayaki again. if you love takoyaki you should try the authentic takoyaki GINDACO whenever you travel to japan or singapore. it's the best! (just saying!) oh sorry tamayaki for the bad review! 128517 im just an takoyaki addict! im so affected! Though it was good ofcourse if you compare it with the takoyaki small stalls...

Tamayaki Takoyaki.

Seasoned Octopus. P105.00

this is the BEST takoyaki I've tasted so far.
So flavourful. It's like something explodes on your mouth in your first bite. So legit.
And crunchy on the bottom. Four pieces is just enough to tickle your tastebuds.
Perfect match with cold Apple Aloe Green Tea (P85.00).
*two thumbs up

Got their seasoned octopus! Its price shocked me because I wasn't used to buying takoyaki worth Php115!

BUT DAMN WAS IT WORTH IT! It's really good! I wanted to cry HAHAHAHA

They also gave me free juice because I came between 12pm-1pm hehehe!

Nabigla lang!128513

As usual, wala kaming magawa ng room mate ko the other day, so sa SM naman ang bagsak namin...128077 she was looking for a bathing suit for her upcoming trip to El Nido and I was the dakilang alalay!128522 so ang promise namin walang kain, inom lang... We went to Cupcakes by Sonja (in such close proximity to a store that we both liked), who was offering a new line of shakes... We got curious about the Bacon and Waffle shake, but upon seeing that each costs P195, isang malaking NO WAY PARE!!!128561128561128561 Are you kidding me?! Mas mahal pa sa Starbucks, na tried and tested na! Ano yun, hold-up? Excuse me, I'm okay to spend on good food but seriously, I don't think so for the shakes...

So we continued to walk around and saw this place, no idea of its existence before... We entered and it was a J-Pop explosion!127852127853127886127744 pink and purple glitter tiles all around, with cute anime drawings! The place sells takoyaki, but since this is a no food expedition and we were not takoyaki fans, we opted to skip the Jap balls and go straight to the milk tea... 128522

My friend ordered the blueberry yogurt drink while I went for the Matcha Milk Tea... No sinkers! Feeling ko kasi nabubulunan ako pag may sinkers...128540 sooooo, I asked are kung matamis ba yun. Sabi nya di naman, so I went for 80% sweetness... While waiting, I saw that they had milk tea with sake! Super sayang, yun ang gusto ko i-try!!!128513 ssssshucks! Ok lang, no idea kasi kaming dalawa... Our wait was short and fruitful from taking lots of pics and imagining our future bathrooms with those sparkly tiles!128516

So when our order was up, I was so excited to try the green beverage set in front of me... Pero picture muna!128513 ang masasabi ko lang ay dapat 50% sweetness! Hang tamis man!128563 pero masarap!128077 my friends' drink tasted like expensive Chamyto! Tinawanan na lang namin! I'd like to try the milk tea sake next time! Out of curiosity lang128513 as for the price? Cheaper than Happy Lemon, that's for sure!128516

I loved the Sake milk tea with rice balls on my first try, however, the softness of the rice balls add-on was not consistent whenever I buy their drink. 128581

I didn't have high expectations when I first entered the shop, based on my previous experience that every Takoyaki I ordered in other shops either seemed like it had too much oil or had too little octopus pieces.

Thankfully, they had a promo where you can order milk tea and 4 pcs. of takoyaki for less than P200. (I forgot the exact price, I'm sorry. ^^;) So I ordered Tamayaki Milk Tea and the classic Takoyaki with octopus inside, since I wanted to taste their bestsellers.

Upon seeing my order, I was happy with the generous amount of nori and fish flakes on top of the takoyaki, served on a cute container. Haha. The texture of the outer layer was surprisingly crunchy, something I wasn't accustomed to since all the takoyaki I previously tasted didn't have a crunchy outer layer. Apart from that, you would be greeted with big chunks of octopus, something I was very pleased with. However, 4 pieces was already enough for me. Tastebud-overfload. Haha. (My term for 'umay'. Hahaha.)

As for the milk tea, I really am thankful that I opted for 50% level of sugar, since it was already sweet for me. The milk tea was just the right combination of creaminess and sweetness, complimented with the chewy pearls.

My boyfriend ordered the Apple Aloe Green Tea, and I was surprised to see that he liked it since he really wasn't fond of drinking other fruit-based drinks apart from Iced Tea. :P He wasn't particularly happy with the aloe vera, but I think it was a pretty refreshing addition to the drink. :)

My verdict? I'd definitely come back to try the other items on their menu. (Matcha is on top of my list. XD)

A piece of advice though, prepare yourself for a long wait before getting your takoyaki, since they make it as you order. And let it cool down a bit before you eat, you might scald your tongue. :))

It was good! Although I wasn't a big fan of takoyaki AT FIRST, Then I tried it out here... Although little tokyo's serving is more than what they serve, their takoyaki was great... I haven't eaten there at peak hours though so I don't know how crowded it really is. You should visit it some time :)

Tamayaki has definitely changed my mind about Takoyaki! I crave for it na. And their fruit teas are addicting too!

I've been back several times. Here's my order from a recent visit. My usual order is Mango Black tea and Mango Orange Nata de Coco. Tamayaki is more expensive by the cup, so I always order drinks that are unique to them.

For their takoyaki, expect a waiting time of about 5 to 10 minutes, since they cook the balls upon order.

I tasted almost everything on their menu. I ate a lot!!! My favorite would be the Korean Pork Bbq, Chicken Teriyaki, and Beef Oriental.

Overall, I am a satisfied customer, and will be going back for more flavorful drinks and takoyaki! You should really drop by and taste their awesome Takoyaki. See you there! 128516
