Tucked in the inlet of Pangasinan, is this sedative body of water that will surely remove whatever ails your mind and soul. Tambobong White Beach happens to be one of my favorite seaside escapes that doesn't include an airplane ride, nor a boat ride if you reside in NCR, CAR, or Region I areas.
I had an opportunity this weekend to get away, and give myself some allowance from the streets saturated by visitors to Baguio City.
Located on its strip road are numerous resorts to choose from for family and friends that are budget friendly. You have the freedom to choose whether to dine in their canteens with food they normally serve, or buy your favorite seafood from the fishermen in the wee-hours of the morning, and have those resorts prepare them to your liking for a small fee per kilo. And If you're daring enough, you can also sleep on bamboo tables/beds located in front of the waters with no worries, because there are guards patrolling the area during the night to ensure one's safety.
The beach itself is devoid from an abundance of visitors. There are no water recreations, such as jet skiing, zip lines, or anything that offsets the balance of serenity. This place is for those who enjoy the simplicity, and tranquility of quietness. The waters are very clear, and normally calm, and pleasant in this area of Dasol. You'll be able to walk far away from shore and still feel safe without having to worry about strong currents. And because of this, it makes snorkeling enjoyable.
If ever you feel like you need to drop everything that consumes you, take a drive to Tambobong White Beach, and leave your worries for another day.
