1st stop in Tanay! Nice church. Worth a stop over there. The architecture is nice. The carved wood of mary magdalene is also nice.

Tanay, Rizal has always felt like my second home. As this is the place where my best girl friend lives at, I've been quite familiar with it, making me feel like it's my second home.

From the metro, for example, Ortigas, I ride from the shuttle terminal found at Starmall going to Tanay. For 70 pesos, you can reach the province in a matter of 2 hours. If you're coming from Marikina area, you can ride a jeep going to Junction and from there ride another one that's off to Tanay. Fare is quite cheaper compared to riding a shuttle.

There were already a few of the most hit places that I got to visit in the province. My first ever climb was at Mount Daraitan and we did a side trip going to Tinipak River.

I have also visited one of the province's famous falls, Daranak, and another one of its most frequented pilgrimage sites, Regina Rica.

A few of the nicest restaurants in the province includes a coffee shop named Vista Barista and a Pinoy restaurant named Halamanan.

Last weekend, I was at Tanay and I attended the Sunday mass at San Ildefonso de Toledo Parish Church, the province's main church. It was also listed as a historical site as one of the oldest trees outside the church has been transformed into a sculpture showing how Mama Mary appeared to San Ildefonso.

This church of Tanay is very simple and traditional looking. Unlike other churches, this one hasn't been renovated and transformed to become a modern one. The church has remained its original look that gives it even more character.

When you go inside, the interiors were as simple as it could get. The neatness and orderliness of everything gives it more peaceful and calming vibes.

The Church's park has been developed into a beautiful one where families, friends, lovers, etc. can hang out after attending the mass. More than that, it always looks clean and neat, saying something a lot about the province's character.

With people continuously finding beauty in the province of Tanay, I am certain it would really be one of the country's most visited provinces with its simple yet welcoming and inviting character.

It was last night when I witnessed, once again, the simplicity and beauty of Tanay's very own San Ildefonso de Toledo Parish Church. Its welcoming, warmth and accommodating vibe would really make you feel at home.

As they were celebrating the feast of San Ildefonso de Toledo last weekend, you'll get to enjoy lots pf activities within the vicinity of the Church's plaza --- perya, shows, tiangges, etc. Definitely one of the best times to visit the town!

One of the nicest and most solemn churches I've visited.

The simplicity and comfort within the chuch is really a good feeling that makes you all complete and calm.

This historical wooden sculpture of St. Ildefonso with Mama Mary is one of the nicest spots to look for here.

Always one of the nicest churches that I've visited. There's always this safe and homey feel at this church because of the simplicity and peaceful vibes that the structure and the members of it exude.
