Super love their Salad Room!!!
Yup that's all the buffet they have but for someone who can be satisfied with quality starters this is your place. You get unli access to this as long as you order from the mains!

Cheese, bread, chorizo, tapas, cold cuts, salad and fruits name it, it's there! I can actually get full already with this and I haven't even started with the main dish.

Review: Good also but quite rich because of the egg and the crust. Or maybe this was underrated bec the steak above was just really goos.

If you are looking for oysters on the half shell or an eclectic small salad bar this is the place. I has lunch here yesterday. David is the GM of the hotel, he stopped by the salad buffet to say "hello". I ordered pizza from the aka carte menu, it was pretty good. Lots of house made dressings, some freshly sliced Italian meats. My friend thought it was amazing, I thought it was just something interesting in the hotel. I paid, P2,400 for a pizza and two salad bars and an iced tea. Not sure I found something here worth going back for.

So this is a hands down 128588🏻

Nothing beats a great simple breakfast at Tapenade. We stayed in Discovery Primea last Christmas and it was superb! The complimentary breakfast includes one choice of morning entree and the rest is a buffet of breads, cheese and salad. A few tho but it was good! Super good! I had a hard time choosing my main but I settled for their eggs ben. I wanted the wagyu tapa because hey it's wagyu! But I am not a big fan of tapa so yes eggs will do. My parents got the tapa instead while my brother had the daing na bangus. It was served quick. The look of it was a perfect ten. Just when you thought it tasted perfect too! 128525 I love everything about this plate. The jamon serrano complimented the plain english muffin as well as the tomato hollandaise balances it.

The tapa on the other hand was fine. Tender and flavorful. The daing na bangus I haven't tasted because I was too full to begin with the rest of the buffet. The selection of cheeses and breads were great. They're very clean and presented nicely.

It's the secret I almost didn't want to share.
I go here for the Salad Room (around Php900+ with taxes) where you get to create your own salad. There are also oysters, smoked salmon, mussels, cold cuts, cheese, prosciutto, breads. It's the kind of buffet where you wouldn't be overehelmed with choices but you'll leave satisfied because of the quality of food.

The only thing that needs improvement is breakfast. I think they can do better. 128077🏼

Best beef kebab i have tried so far! A bit on the pricy side but well worth it! The rice that accompanies it very well compliments it.

The Mediterranean salad bar is a must try too! The options may not be that many but it is well curated! From fresh breads, cold cuts, fresh mussels, salad greens, everything was very good!

I thought I was going to eat at a Spanish restaurant. Thought restaurant was called tapanade. Anyways it was more Mediterranean.

The service was good. The food on the other hand tasted weird. Or it wasn't just for everyone. Or we ordered the wrong items on the menu. The salad was good. The pasta of the month which was crab meat with chili, lemon and olive oil seems like it didn't match. The prawns was basically Gambas with Mediterranean taste.

Aside from the hand gestures that welcome you, i'm in love with the salad bar. Perfect for my fueling!!! Oysters were amazing! Cheese selection is awesome. A selection of salad dressings are perfect for everyone's palette!

Porcini Crusted US Angus Ribeye:

This is Restaurant Tapenade’s signature dish. Crusted with porcini mushrooms and a little bit of chili pepper to give it some zing, topped with arugula to add some peppery taste, generous amounts of Parmesan and cooked in the right doneness. The heart of the steak was brick red with a nice crust on the outside. It’s the kind of dish that I wish would never end! 128077

Restaurant Tapenade brings to you a little bit of Spain, Italy, France, Greece, Turkey and Morocco without ever leaving your seat.

I love this appetizer! Duo of Tapenade (green and kalamata olives) with edible flowers ready to be mixed and to be spread on freshly grilled Ciabatta. Take one bite and this appetizer will surely excite your palate.

Tapenade is a hidden gem of a mediterranean cuisine inside the newly launched Discovery Primea property located in Ayala.

Offers ala carte breakfast of combined western and pinoy dishes. But their salad buffet bar definitely won me over with their yummy prosciutto slices. Make sure to try it!

Tapenade opened just a couple of weeks ago hence the seeming anonymity. Not for long though! With a fantastic lineup of amazing Mediterranean dishes, foodies are sure to find something they like. From an oven in full sight of diners churning out freshly baked pizzas, to a perfectly cooked rib eye steak and mouthwatering pastas such as the Greek Shrimp Rissoni (pictured128525128536) in between, at prices that WON'T break the bank (yes, it's in the middle of Makati!!), this place deserves a visit.. or two.. or three.. or..well, you get my drift!! 128522128513128077
