The place is cozy, directly beside the restaurant (under one roof) is a shop where you can buy groceries, clothes, or even souvenir items so expect people coming in and out anytime and they also have an al fresco if you wish to eat outside. I expected so much on the food that I have ordered but sadly the chef didn't deliver. The chicken was bland and dry and the salad's balsamic vinegar dressing was very strong and it didn't complement to the entire dish. Next time that I'll go there, I hope they'll cook and season my chicken perfectly. #fingerscrossed

"Set in a non-Victorian era, the queen was being carefully watched by her king from afar..."

Went here for desserts and you get to choose them up close at your table. What I love in Tarsier Paprika is their landscape and the beautiful beach front. I'd love to try their main courses given a chance but their desserts were very satisfactory. It didn't leave me wanting for more but still delicious. Perhaps a second try? You gotta love the picturesque botanical landscape though and the much-loved reclining Buddha. It was only a quick visit but it was worth it.

This place has been operating for almost 2 years now but it's the first time we went here (since our Bohol-based officemate recommended it). The overall ambience of the place is great! It has a beautiful view of the ocean, though not the best sunset view.
They give a complimentary bread basket with hummus and olive oil and balsamic vinegar. The breads were good as well.
I ordered the Middle East Mezza Platter (Php600) while my husband went for his standard order of Sizzling Pork Belly (Php465). The servings are good enough for 2 people to share, so we were so full! Quality was good as well, though not spectacular.
From the reviews on TripAdvisor, I got recommendations to try the desserts so we got the Chocolate Truffle Cake (Php165). It was really good, but maybe too rich for other people (not complaining here!)
The service here was impeccable! Really have to commend the staff for being very attentive to our needs. I hope they maintain the quality of their service especially when they open their villas sometime in the near future.

Great place with stunning view of the sea. Great food to go with it. Perfect date place in Panglao Island.

We got there just in time to see the beautiful Bohol sunset. The view was amazing! The food was alright. I ordered the penne al pesto with parmesan. The basil over powered the entire dish and it was too herby for me, even for pesto. They have very good service though and their fruit shakes were very good!

You would like this place for the scenery (so make sure to go before the sun sets) and the fine-dining ambience. It is nestled within the enormous Tarsier Botanika property, at the far end, by the Panglao sea. Each table has a panoramic view of the ocean, so you can't go wrong with your seats.

I loved how perfectly-cooked my pasta with organic pesto was. It's a seemingly simple dish with a few ingredients, but it's really a hit or miss. I liked what I had here. It had just the right amount of oil. I also had as much parmesan cheese as I want. 128513 Complimentary bread with sun-dried tomato spread was a treat.

Must order: Freshly-grilled seafood, which varies depending on what's on the market that day. We had lapu-lapu and squid, big enough to share between 5 people, so we had a lot of leftovers to take home.

Their wine list is pretty expensive, but some bottles may be out of stock (particularly the less expensive ones). My three choices were unavailable at the time so we settled for a rosé that the bartender recommended.

Prepare to shell out around 500-1000 per head. Tarsier Paprika is a 5 to 10-minute walk (depends if you're easily distracted 128539; you will pass by some of the pets they have) from Tarsier Botanika's reception area.

Fantastic view, ambiance, food, everything! Perfect for that meal where time is not a factor :) go with your date, family, or friends and simply pass the time away.

This is a must for each visit to Panglao Island, Bohol. And order the Asian salad while you're at it :)
