Got stuck in Don Bosco area the other night so boyfriend and I decided to have our dinner at Walter Mart. I had the Grilled Chicken Fillet meal combo while he tried the New York Beef Hotdog. The manager suggested if we wanted to try their Tuna Mushroom Melt sandwich because it's 10% off and immediately refused - because, uhm, why only the tuna sandwich? I assumed it's an old stock haha.

Moving on - I instantly fell in love with their Grilled Chicken Fillet. It's thick enough, juicy, and tender. When I took a bite, I saw the real chicken meat, not like Burger King's and McDonald's chicken sandwiches where they're mostly made up of extenders. They serve it in whole wheat sesame bun, which I really liked, and with generous servings of fresh lettuce in between (small pieces but not shredded, yey).

Now this one also hits the spot - they got the placement of lettuce just the way I like it: lower bun-lettuce-mayo-chicken fillet-top bun. I always prefer the lettuce below the patty because it helps absorb the sauce before it gets to the bottom bun. This is so you would not end up having a saggy bottom bun.

My boyfriend, on the other hand, didn't find anything special with the New York Beef Hotdog, simply because he's not a fan of whole wheat sesame bun haha! The hotdog sandwich is topped with pickle relish and onions. It already has ketchup and mustard but you're free to ask for more if you feel like it.

I love their flavored fries, too (sour cream being my top fave) but the only thing I don't like about Taters is how ridiculously they charge you when you upsize your drinks (12oz. of red tea upsize to 22oz. will cost you 20 Pesos).
