Can I say that I love carinderia food? Well, I love Blue Corner's food to be specific. This carinderia right beside Paseo de Sta. Rosa is a godsend. It is cheap yet delicious. So when the weather permits, after our morning jog, we would head here at Blue corner to eat brunch.

The servers are so accommodating. They have ample tables and would serve you the menu. You may also go to the front and make "turo-turo" what you like but basically what is on the menu is the same with just a few additions.

Do not forget that you are dining al fresco but that is okay except for the few flies that would join you.

For this visit, ordered the lechon kawali, kare-kare and chopsuey. Do not forget to ask for the bulalo soup. Perfect combination with the rice and the lechon kawali.

Food tastes delicious. You can do half orders so that you can taste more viands and not burn a hole in your pocket. 128516

Sometimes you do not need to eat at a fancy restaurant to get good food. Sometimes you do not need to spend thousands to get some decent service. Sometimes you need to step out of your comfort zone to find places such as Blue Corner.

Having lived down south for quite a while, it would be easy for me to neglect gems such as this Carinderia that's literally beside Paseo de Sta. Rosa. This eatery is famous and often flocked by people whether it's the weekday or the weekend.

Why? You may ask. Simply because they serve good food without burning a hole in your pocket.

Your typical carinderia food with friendly servers and reasonable prices. You can opt to do half order if you are not that hungry or if you want to try out as much food as possible.

Aside from the occasional flies (you're dining al fresco, that's why), this place would really satisfy your hunger and if you want variety, they have it.

Go for the Lechon Kawali (and some extra rice)! 128523 That combination would not fail you!

I love going to this place after doing some window shopping in Nuvali and Paseo de Sta Rosa. This is a palengke style eatery. They specialize in bulalo which is really good but my all time favorite here is their sizzling siquid, sizzling liempo and sizzling sisig. The taste of their sizzling food can compete with Gerrys Grill. It is a go-to place of cyclist in the area.

128522 Two thumbs up for this place!
Did I mention their superb free pinapaitan soup?! Busog!!

Food here tastes good. Though the place is not that presentable, we always eat here whenever me and my classmates are out. I wish they would improve the place and make it more neat.

They serve good sizzling squid and sisig. Their bulalo also taste good but my personal favorite here would be their blue marlin. Yumyum. Always order extra rice for the big boys because you would be needing one for sure.

I think there's no need for me to post photos for this review for the fact that everything here (those that I've had tried), is delicious. 500 bucks is already a feast for 2, so on and forth, do the math, bottom line, it is inexpensive here. Their sizzling liempo never fail my tastebuds as the juiciness and tenderness of the meat envelops my mouth. I don't know but I think there's something with its sauce that is just perfect. Their sizzling sisig is one of my fave too, not that fancy, but worth it for the 2nd, 3rd or even 4th cup of rice. They also serve 'lutong bahay' depending on its availability. More so, as mentioned, nothing fancy and as such, it's as if you're eating in a pantry or canteen so expectations should be contained.
So if your on your cheat day, visit them in Paseo de Santa Rosa. Adjacent to Nike Store and almost in front of Bon Chon. To make it easier, just ask manong or ate guard. 9996128521

Masarap na mura pa. I used to eat here alot when i was still in college. They managed to build a brand among all the "turo turo" style restaurants in the area. When you think about Blue Corner, expect to have crispy skin in the lechon kawali. This is a perfect place for travelers with a budget that enjoy good ol Filipino food :)

Bulalo is great. Actually, a must. Food choices are great, too! Words can't really say much. Go witness life itself. It's the best of it's class.

This is probably the most glorified turo-turo around. Food is cheap, fast, and surprisingly good, so come early or you'll have to wait in line.
Our group of six got two orders each of the sizzling pusit and sizzling liempo, along with 6 cups of rice and a 1.5 liter bottle of coke. We almost didn't finish everything and it only cost us 700 pesos, plus we had complementary bananas. What more could you ask for.
Leave your poise in the car, and get down and dirty at TBS Blue Corner.

Short lunch breaks? Sizzling sisig is what blue corner got famous for. Affordable food. Fast service. And gives you free iced tea when you ask nicely. Haha happy Sisig!

My 4-star rating was solely based on the yumminess of their dishes. I always go here before heading to Nuvali, EK, Soledad and Tagaytay.I know, I know this is not a resto. TBS Corner is the epitome of Carinderia. It's more of a "turo-turo" that serves Filipino cuisine but I personally think that the food is worth posting. This is the place to eat if you are in a budget and been dreaming of those home cooked meals. Some of the foods that they serve are Bulalo, Kilawin, Lechon Kawali, Ginataang Langka and Kalabasa, Grilled Shrimp, Sizzling sisig, squid, bangus and pork chop.

It's an open space with huge of parking area.Bonus tip - always ask for the free bulalo soup and bawala ang maarte dito :))

Money to spend - P150 to P250
