Went here last Wednesday afternoon before attending my First Looloo Rendezvoos for 2016. I arrived and hour and a half at UPTC before our Looloo Rendezvoos starts so I decided to hang out first and I think of Tea Rock Cafe since I am really curious for a long time how does their milktea tasted.

The place was almost full , it's not just a milktea place but they even served other meals too, rice meals, pasta , sandwiches and desserts i think.

I asked what is their best seller and I saw "Tearockmisu" on their menu board. They served it in hot and cold. I choose Medium Hot for 110 pesos.

The seats were nice and their was socket area in most of tables but unlucky because they put masking tape on it and you can't used it. I have to charge my phone so too bad for me I wasn't able to charge my phone. Glad they have wifi or else I will get bored.

The milktea came in 10-15 mins and it's a ver tall drink compare to other milktea, Tearockmisu tasted like milo drink, I liked it but wasn't able to finish it as I am still attending the Looloo Rendezvoos and I don't want my stomach to get full .

First of all this place has free wifi. Plus points for being the only place in this phase of UPTC with an environment conducive to group meetings (which is a struggle to find, even in coffee shops!).

They serve milk tea and also serve food! (Try their fries/hash browns, they put cinnamon in it. Nice twist!)

For milk tea, I've tried wintermelon milk tea with cheese and pearls. Cheese is a little too much for my liking, so it's on the salty side.

My sister raves about their Green Apple Yakult drink, so I tried Green Apple Yakult Smoothie with nata. It's really good!!! Upon trying it for the first time, my boyfriend liked it as well.

Service: I haven't stayed long enough to comment.

Will definitely come back for their Yakult smoothies and milk tea, might even recommend to classmates when we need to do papers.

Tea Rock rocks!!!! It's a day out for me and my son to (1) give him time he needs out with mama, and (2) keep my sanity. Been a hectic two weeks and I've been sick. Today is recovery day with my 3-year old.

The couches are comfy and my son loved the fact that he could monopolize three tables worth of couches since there were only three customers when we went here today. Late lunch so barely any people. However, the two gentlemen at the place were seriously doing homework or gaming stuff online. Good wifi. Free wifi (Starbucks please learn from this...because you charge an arm and a leg for coffee and also for wifi)...

Now to the food...

I ordered the new teriyaki bowl rice. Perfect for a rainy afternoon! Just the right amount of sweet, salty, chewy, buttery, teriyaki goodness! Mmmmm...! They added sticky rice to the corn and carrots and it made the bowl great comfort food for me. :) Just the right amount of rice in a most interesting "high bowl."

The matcha... Oh, the matcha! I chose 70 sugar level. Perfect! I found it interesting that you had sugar options! Very cool...! :) you also had a choice of pearl, nata or pudding. Of course, I chose pearl. :) am into the sticky chewy stuff. Hahah.

And the price! The bowl was only php120! Beats McDonald's and other fastfood places, any other day, because it has veggies, rice and meat (pork)! Hefty serving, too.

I will definitely go back to this place...

Oh and the pipe-in music selection ain't bad and ain't noisy as hell as other places. You have a good view of UP town center's activity area so natural light comes in and it feels very comfortable to hang out inside Tea Rock.

Yay! New food place for me! Maybe I will do this as a weekend treat for me and my son.

I needed a place to stay for a few hours while waiting for friends, and thought I'd give this a try. I ordered the jasmine green tea with cheese and salt, and added pearls for my sinkers. It tasted fine especially once I blended the milk and the cheese & salt together, though I wouldn't say that I'd order it again.

On the plus side, it was quiet while I was there so I was able to get some work done. They also have free wifi, which had pretty decent speed.

Might consider coming back and trying other flavours, should I find myself in QC again.

This is a late review but better late than never, right?

Anyhoo, I tried this place about a week ago as I was looking for a quiet corner to wait for mass at 5:30. There was no crowd here so I decided to check it out.

They had an extensive menu, from teas to pasta and stuff. I ordered a caramel milk tea and carbonara with fish fillet. They had free bubble pearls for the milk tea so why not?

In hindsight, I wish I didn't had those bubble pearls coz I didn't like them one bit. As for the pasta, it was okay. The number of fillets on top was unbelievable that I wasn't able to finish them all. The pasta was fine, a bit dry and salty for my taste. What peeved me though was the carbonara powder they sprinkled so generously on top of everything. It was like an overkill. It made the otherwise decent dish taste like an instant pasta.

Still, the place was lovely and perhaps a good spot to do some studying/reading. Anyone else tried their other products?

They don't run out of calamansi!!! Plus points for that! Then again I've only visited 3 times so maybe I've been very lucky.

Got their Calamansi black tea here and it's pretty good! Not as sour as Serenitea but I'll take it! Maybe I'll just have to drop the sugar level down to 30-40%.

I'm not a big fan of milk tea or anything, but their oatmeal cocoa milk tea is worth trying, kahit 0% sugar hahaha! Their fried radish, however, was kinda gross. It felt like deep fried fat... 128563

Stick to their drinks here! 9786

First time at Tea Rock... My roommate back in med school and I went out today, meeting up here before going out to get a well-deserved massage...

The menu was very confusing for a first time customer... There were so many choices! And the lettering on the backsplash was small and too close together that it was difficult to read... Menu was super busy!128517

I settled on the Tropical Paradise, a fruit based drink with fruit jelly... My friend got the Toffee milk tea (I hope I'm getting it right)... The drinks took about 20mins to be ready... Yikes, to think we were the only customers there!128540

The Tropical Paradise was super sweet even at 75% sweetness... Tasted like passion fruit with added jelly... It was actually pretty good! My friend liked her cup of milk tea as well... Not a bad first time!128522

Tea Rock in Tea Rock!!! What many people didn't know is that aside from their awesome milktea Tea rock also serve authentic taiwan cuisine. We tried their chicken chops and their version doesn't just rely on the pepper powder for the flavor their version has juicy flavor that is deep inside the chicken meat. Their taiwan sausage and variety of squid balls tasted great. They reminded me of the one in HK tusok tusok. For the milktea, I tried their uji matcha. Their version has the bitter and powdery texture that I'm always looking for from my Matcha drinks. Comparing to serenitea this one is better.

My favorite here is their Jumbo Chicken Steak with big serving for only P100. This is like the Taiwanese chicken street food and it really tastes good.

Their milk teas also have a wide variety and I'm sure that you will find your choice from refreshing to chocolatey flavors.

Tea*Rock is also my favorite place to hang with my laptop when I work or do certain matters that would require me to stay for a long time. Almost every table has plug outlets that customers may freely use. They have free wifi with very fast connection as well.

I love this place to hang out to. 128077

The design of the place was nice... But my order was not 128532

Apple smoothie is not a "smoothie". Just shaved ice with apple syrup. Tasted like ice candy turned ito a drink.

TEA ROCK

I Like their UJI RED BEAN MATCHA! Like you are drinking a green tea kitkat coated beverage. You can feel the granules which makes you want to sip more (Greentea Lovers, this will be heaven). Plus you get to have two Sinkers for free. I actually had it ZERO sugar since i expect that the sinkers are so sweet and i was right! Lol. I was supposed to have their STRAWBERRY MILK TEA but my brother took it first. Gratitude to Kerry one of my Dear friends who bought all the teas for us.

No.. Se suponía que iba a tener su té con leche fresa pero mi hermano lo llevó a primera. Agradecimiento a Kerry uno de mis queridos amigos que compraron todos los tés para nosotros.

We tried Tea Rock yesterday and it did not disappoint. My boyfriend and I had the mango smoothie which went well with the two sinkers we chose, mango nata and strawberry jelly. We were also pleasantly surprised that their food was good too! I had the carbonara and requested that my side dish be the chicken steak. It was huge (the pic says it all) and flavorful. Boyfriend had noodle soup and it was delicious too. Kudos also to the very attentive service staff.
