A visit to my favorite milk tea place on a scorching hot rainy season day. (Al Gore was right. The weather is bipolar and we're to blame. Is this a sign of the end times?)

Telle B had a hankering for the Frosted Mint Chocolate MT which is also my fave and one of their bestsellers. As the name implies, it's minty and chocolate-y. This is Tea.ology, not rocket science.

As for yours truly, it was a successful attempt at being adventurous by deviating from the winning formula of wintermelon milk tea. The honey cinnamon was also as the name implies: honey (yes, that's not an adjective) and cinnamon-ey.

Go for the sure ones like the dark/white chocolate MT, Mojitea or those with fruit infusions.

Haven't tried their food but the crazy corn and cheese-filled hashbrowns piqued my interest.

Shame though since it's nondescript and hidden under Xanland, and parking's a pain. Still though, a good place to study since they have tables and the airconditioning's turned all the way up, or for those looking for something other than your usual selection of flavors but don't want to be bothered by a whole slew of choices like those in Gong Cha.

Another great discovery! For students and professionals who are looking for a good place to review, finish work, concentrate, read a book or just pass time, Teaology here in Katipunan, hidden somewhere behind Xanland Place is the place to be.

I like the fact that it's kind of secluded, unlike other Milk Tea stores that tend to be crowded and noisy where the study / focus vibe is just nowhere to be found.

Teaology's drink choices are not few too, they have milk tea, fruit tea and other teas that I think are very affordable.

I ordered blackberry green tea! Hmmm. I love tea especially in its pure form, without all the syrup so I ordered it 0%. It was great! The mood was also motivating enough for me to solve some math problems for my exams!
Win-win! 128513

So I recommend teaology for people who are looking for a place where they can study and do their work very quietly and achieve utmost productivity!

Note: The place is not laptop friendly (No sockets) but tablets and smartphones would be good because they offer free wifi! I'm posting this review through their internet connection! 128515

Originally, I liked this place a lot. They have flavors that are unique to their store, their drink prices are normal (P60-150 depending on size and flavor), their place is cute and cozy, they have WiFi and, if it's not packed, you can enjoy your drink while reading a book.

Their location is perfect for me - it's just a couple of floors below my daughter's ballet class and it's not as jampacked as the Moonleaf around the corner (if you've read a few of my reviews, you'll notice I don't enjoy noisy, crowded places). So I can stay here and have my "me time" with my book or blog while she's in her class. In short, I was a returning customer, I've been here almost every Saturday since December.

I enjoyed most of the flavors I ordered except for one or two but I can't recall the names of the ones I didn't like since I was trying to enjoy my time, but I believe one of them had raspberry on it (and I love berry flavors).

So what changed? Around 3 weeks ago, it was my daughter's birthday and we were over 30mins too early for her ballet class, so we decided to have a snack first. We ordered dark chocolate milk tea (P80) and nuggets with fries (P95 I think; P80 if without fries). I found that their food was a little too expensive for a few pieces of nuggets and fries, but hey, it's my daughter's birthday, so what the heck... This order came with a half-filled small condiments container of watery ketchup. My daughter was enjoying her food when she asked for more ketchup, so I asked the girl at the cashier. Guess what, their watery ketchup will cost me an additional 10 bucks!

I mean, I don't mind paying for extra stuff but ketchups are supposed to be free, left at the condiments area or at the table even and it's not supposed to be watery. Honestly, it tasted like UFC ketchup with water. The price of the food we ordered should at least cover for a full container ng ketchup! What they gave us is not even half of the ketchup packet sa McDo. So sadyang konti yung nilagay nilang ketchup na matabang para kulang, oorder ka ngayon ng extra. More money for us, $$$ katching! $$$
It really pissed me off, yung feeling na they just attempted to take advantage of you kahit pa P10 lang yun. It's not as if it's a special sauce. Nothing special about the nuggets and fries either. I'm still seething trying to recall this. (For the opposite feeling, read my BonChon review)

There are a lot of tea places around the area, stiff competition. They should really avoid pissing off their customers to keep them in the attempt to get a few extra coins. So now I don't go here anymore, I go to Saint's Alps at the next building, better food na service with a smile pa for the same amount.

When tea.ology runs out of plastic cups that say tea.ology :(

Haha got the dark choco mint tea which was pretty okay! It kinda just tasted like normal chocolate tho so -1 :(

Plus another -1 star tho coz they ran out of pearls and their pudding feels powdery :((((

I usually get their milktea but today, I was craving for something more refreshing. I decided to get their large Blueberry Black Tea. I really liked it because of how the tartness of the blueberry was just right. The price wasn't bad at 85 pesos, considering that sinkers are already included. Definitely trying their other tea infusions next time! 128522

There are a lot (and i mean a lot) of milk tea places in katipunan but i'd have to say that tea.ology is my favorite! (Actually, it's Tokyo Bubble Tea BUT that's in Katipunan Extension so it doesn't count)

Every visit, i always get either the Matcha Milk Tea (100Php for Medium) or the Mint Chocolate one (90Php for Medium). Today, as seen in the picture, I got the Mint Choco one! Admittedly, the matcha tastes similar to the matcha milk tea of Tokyo Bubble Tea which i'm a sucker for as well! The choco mint tho is just 128076 perfect for me. The thing with this flavor is that there's always one that overpowers, the chocolate or the mint but with tea.ology(and at 75% sweetness), there's the perfect mix of both which i love!! :)

I love tea.ology primarily for it's ambiance. It's pretty cozy and very conducive to studying(unless there's a barkada hanging out there coz the space is pretty tiny). You can immediately smell the sweetness when you enter which i love. It also doesn't hurt that they have very fast wi-fi! No sockets though so make sure you charge up!

The cons? The milk teas are a bit pricey compared to the other milk tea places of katip(excluding Tokyo Bubble Tea lol). Also, service is pretty slow and sometimes there's just one lady at the counter taking the orders and making the milk tea.

PS they're also selling potato tots with sriracha ketchup! I havent tried it tho but zomg sriracha! I love that shit!!

The place is cool and relaxing, except for the radio station they play (it's kinda loud and disturbing). But hey, they have the best wifi connection! I update my online shop there (Fact: very fast internet connection because they're literally beside a small Sun Cellular Office).

For 3 months, I've visited Tea.ology thrice a week. I would usually buy Strawberry Milk Tea, sometimes with pearls other times with egg pudding, if I want it light on the tummy.

The picture posted above is Kyoto Matcha Milk Tea (which was okay, but I think it doesn't deserve the best seller title). If at times I want the classic, I'll order Pearl Milk tea with pearls. Are you a chocolate lover? Then, you must try the Mint Chocolate Milk Tea.

Their beverage menu is huge, from Classic Milk Tea to Signature Blends and Fruit Tea Infusion. Your choice. If you want to know, they also sell some snacks, like fries and the like128522

Pearls. Whatever flavor you choose (my favorites are Strawberry, Dark Mint Chocolate, Wintermelon), you'll notice the pearls are really good quality like no other. Best milk tea place in Katipunan in terms of quality :) I'd buy almost everyday until sawa.

Free WiFi, okay ambiance, although I prefer a quieter place. Their music tends to play loudly so it's not somewhere I'd like to work or study in. But it's a fine place for a casual hang out with friends.

It's not their milktea that made me dislike them, it's how they treat their customers! I was there with my classmates at around 10pm and the owner arrived at almost 11 pm.. They didn't even told us in a nice way that they're about to close in a couple of minutes but we felt like they shooed us away.. Kasi they just said closed na.. Parang ang rude ng dating..
