Nothing yet could beat the super chill afternoon tea time me time at tea tap last week. Milk tea that is.

Went here after tung lo wan. The place got that super nice ambience more serene than starbucks. I think the owners were there. They are Koreans.

I think i came pass the age of ordering cold milk teas with sinkers in a plastic cup. That afternoon i craved for a hot milk tea.

128204128525 Hokkaido milk tea @95PhP
It's their bestseller
So sulit. It came with a cute green blue tall cup. They'll call your name when they're done preparing it. Self service. Sugar level was only 25% and i think it was just right. If i could redo my order i'll have it 0% since i find it still a little sweet. Any way, i love its taste! Subukan niyo. This might replace your addiction with serenitea or what...

My friend recommended to me their slice of Hokkaido cake but i did not order anymore. I just want some drink to sip.

They play super soft music that hits the relax button of your mind. Gaze or stare blankly in the air all you want. Haha.

Been years since my last visit here. Same as with other resto along wilson street its pretty hard to find a parking slot here and to add construction going on in front of this shop thats another one slot down.

They sell kozui products so i believe they related in some way. I ordered matcha milk tea and its not one of the best ive had. 128533

But the interiors were great especially the entrance part.

REAL TIME REVIEW 🕐
Looking for a CUTE and COZY place to hang out? Try Tea Tap Cafe in Wilson, San Juan!

I've been here twice already and visited today with my GUY friends. Imagine? I'm the only girl here pero the guys also loved the place! Ang cute daw.

They have a lot of cute kitty displays! Tapos the wall designs are blight, light and colorful. The mood lighting is very cozy. Perfect place to study and hangout with friends.

The price is 128076🏻 good. For the quality of the beverages saktong sakto lang and I can't say it's pricy at all considering i'm a milk tea fan. Hindi siya matubig, and sulit sa ingredients!

We ordered the ff: (P90-P100)
Peachy Yakult
Kumquat Lemon
Gen Lemon Tea
Strawberry Yakult
Paris Rose

I've tried all of it. My fave would be the Paris Rose, lasang roses talaga! 10084️ something new to try but the boys love the Strawberry Yakult, yun lang daw babalikan nila dito.
I want to try more of their milk tea's kasi kakaiba yung mga mix plus sobrang daming choices!

For the food i've only tried the Pasta Agli Olio, P180. Medyo blunt lang pero served hot so that's a thumbs up bagong luto.

Marami silang food. Japanese inspired. They have Curry Rice Bowls, Ramen, too many too mention pero it's not just a tea place, it's also a good dining cafe. Quality food rin sila I must say!

Overall Rating: 4/511088
Will definitely come back. Will try more of their milk teas!
Tapos they have a self service water area 10084️ and even sell cute items for ladies with ni tolerance on cute stuffs127868! Medyo mahal nga lang hahaha!

Sorry for the bad quality photo.

Taiwanese chicken chops, why do you taste soooooo good.

It's been a really really long time since I was last at TeaTap cafe, but it looks the same but feels different at the same time! They have a lot more food choices to choose from, and of course I went on to choose chicken chops - my favorite taiwanese snack from a long time ago.

These chicken chops are really good, and they only cost P85 a piece, considering the large order you get. I like the amount of spice that's on them, it's not too much and tastes just right. You can opt to have the spice separated from the chicken chops though, if someone doesn't like the spicy flavor.

Atmosphere at TeaTap is just okay, a good place for work or for conversation, though I feel that the cute stuff they have on display needs to be cleaned out. My friend's son was playing with the toys and displays and it looked a little dusty/dirty.

Aside from that, service is also just-so. Nothing exceptional.

The reason I truly enjoyed this place was because of the company I was with. Good company can make an experience excellent. 128513128513

I had their Aglio Olio pasta which is an olive oil based pasta with fresh green chillies.

Well the serving time of food was quick what I didn't liked about it was the taste of food it was too damn spicy for me.

Its like a chili flavored pasta I guess it was too overpowering, the pasta was dry, and it lacks seasoning all I could taste was its spiciness. 128528

My bad I could have just order their burgers instead it might've been better.

I'm giving them three stars coz of the service and cozy ambience but with the pasta that I ate ugh 2 stars for ya. 128078

Hokkaido cakes for some, may find it ordinary but, because I love anything milky or creamy, I would say I ♥️ Hokkaido Cakes!

My family also enjoyed the Hokkaido Cake I was even able to share a couple of cakes to a friend when we went to lunch. I don’t think they’re appropriate for everyday eating for weight watchers like me.

However, for “cheat-days” or for special moments when one feels the need to indulge, they’re perfect! And this is also perfect as a gift to given out to friends and relatives.

Nice place to hang-out. Their milk teas are ok, I've tried their Formosa Milk Tea, Paris Rose and Fuji Green Apple milk teas.

They have free wifi but signal's weak. They've parking at the front.

So I got a bit excited when I found a Hokkaido style cupcake purveyor, aka Milk Box Ph, on my Instagram feed.

These type of cupcakes is basically a chiffon cake filled with either a light whipped cream or a heavier pastry cream then dusted with powdered sugar on top (to resemble snow, I guess, which Hokkaido has a lot of).

Milk Box makes use of a light custard filling and dusts the top with icing sugar and another secret ingredient that kicks things up one notch. They do not, however, use actual Hokkaido milk. But it doesn’t dull experience in any way.

You have to eat this with a spoon. As you dig in you’ll notice how fluffy and light the chiffon is. And how delicious it pairs with the rich cream. The special topping melts in the mouth, though makes a bit of a mess. Altogether it is not cloyingly sweet. Which makes it dangerous as it opens up the possibility of eating multiple servings.

Spontaneous visit because of intense matcha green tea latte cravings in the wee hours of the night. It was ok, somewhat close to happy lemon's.

RSC isn'f that good, my drink tastes better without it.

Dynamite Rolls are ok, it's the usual rolls in stalls during univ week or food fairs.

This place is spaceous enough though for students, with laptops, books to read and paperwork to do.

Went here yesterday and ordered Wintermelon milktea and Taiwanese Chicken Chops (not sure if it's Taiwanese or Taiwan128514)

Hehe, their Wintermelon is the same as other milktea I have tasted, it's just that the only thing about this is that I should have made the sugar level from 50% to 75%. Walang lasa eh. 128514128514

The Chicken Chops were good. It's a breaded Chops with Cinnamon, you can actually taste it and I like the spicy kick on it! 128077 nalalasahan mo nga lang ung ginger. 128541

PS: I need one more validator for my thesis, someone pls help me! 128557

Late review...

We went here because the wait staff of TQB recommended it since they were closed for snack time.

We ordered chicken chop, takoyaki and milk tea with pudding.

The chicken chop lack sauce. The takoyaki was okay... The amount of toppings and sauce was good. It just lack protein and it was warm and not hot. With regards to the milk tea with pudding... Got more pudding than milk tea...

Prices are reasonable... Lots of family and students hangout here.

Love, love, love Teatap!! Apart from the fact that their mascot is a cat, the food and the place itself is what makes me love it so much.

I do recommend their Takoyaki because their Takoyaki is the best I've ever had in Manila. You can get 6 pieces for Php120, and that sounds pricey but really, it's worth it. It's the only one I've had with actual octopus in it. (And even if it's not octopus, I still love it anyway hahaha) The texture is really good, too!

As for their milk tea, I always go for Osaka or Hokkaido. Their Taiwanese Chicken is really soft with crispy exterior.

One of my favorite places to study - nice comfy couches with just the right amount of light (not too dark and not too bright). Try their chili cheese sticks! And they have the best cheese foam drink, in my taste & opinion. :)

Same selections like the ones in the normal milktea stalls/resto. I just find their recipe sweeter and their quotes on the lids of the milktea plastic cups and cool. Still the best for me: Wintermelon and Okinawa. Order and try their takoyaki 128077

It's time to move out of our comfort zone and try some other tea place other than Serenitea. Lol.

First off, the place. I loved it! It was very cozy; most chairs were soft-cushioned, lights were soft and interiors were tad cute. Most customers were with their laptops or books so I guess this is a nice study place too. With the free and fast wifi, I couldn't agree more. :)

We all had milk teas: Hokkaido, Formosa Roast, Wintermelon and oh, Chocolate Cheese Mousse for the husband. I loved my hubby's drink. Cheese pa lang, solve na! :) the milk teas were all ok. My mom said she likes Wintermelon Milk tea here more than Serenitea's.

Servers were all nice too. Will absolutely come back. :)
