I've been to this place more than thrice. This is usually one of our options when we want to have hotpot, primarily because it's a buffet and it'll cost us less than other shabu-shabu places.

I mentioned to my mom that I was craving for shabu-shabu. We were going to the mall and she just decided that we go to Tenka. After parking, we went straight to this restaurant at around 11:30am and the place was empty. We were directed to our seats, settled and provided the menu and the order sheet.

There are 5 broths to choose from: Japanese pork bone, Japanese spicy miso, satay, sukiyaki, and seaweed miso soup. So far, I've tried all the first three. Today we got the Japanese spicy miso and the satay soup (since I really enjoy satay in hotpot).

Each person gets a free side order, choices are from the sashimi, maki, yakitori, fried (Tempura, gyoza, etc.) section. We got the salmon roll, gyoza and beef yakitori.

After ordering, we were told that we can start with their salad bar. So while waiting for the table to be setup, we roamed around to see what salad and desserts were available. Don't expect too much from this section.

We went back to our seats and our orders arrived. We put the ingredients in our soup and waited for it to finish. Personally, I go to these hotpot and grill places for one reason: beef. Whether it is a hotpot or yakiniku, I am a fan of these thinly sliced beefs. So today, this is what I enjoyed. I liked their sliced pork and U.S. Fat Beef.

After the hotpot portion of our lunch, we went back to their dessert station to get a sweet ending. We were very disappointed when we saw that only three flavors of ice cream were available: chocolate, strawberry and green tea, and the green tea was soooo solidly hard (and it was the last tub) that we were only able to get other the two flavors. The leche flan and chocolate cake were not so good, and they were not in a fridge so they weren't cold. There were also fruits available but we didn't get these.

The ambiance of the place is quite nice and big. I think it's not hard to get seats, and it's a good location for get togethers. The place was a bit hot (yes it's a shabu-shabu but I don't think it's an excuse to be hot). I even heard a person come in and asked to be seated somewhere a bit cold.

Service was good as well, although I just realized that some of the meats we ordered didn't arrive at our table! (Although these weren't listed as unavailable items). Hmpf!

Price is P688 per person since it's a holiday. It's still cheaper than one other hotpot buffet I know. 128518

Overall, I think this is still going to be one of my go-to places whenever I'm craving for hotpot, but I also want to try other non-buffet restaurants. This will do for me since I only eat the meats, so I guess it's okay.

Im writing this review to totally distract myself from feeling like exploding - im sooo full 128561

Tenka shabu-shabu is just a floor below the glorietta 4 foodcourt. The have eat-all-you-can for 550 (lunch) and 668 (dinner) - drinks not included. Buffet includes meat, seafood, vegetables, salad bar, and dessert.

The food is alright. Nothing really stood out, but i did appreciate that they have unlimited lamb and beancurd skin.

With the buffet, you also get one order of any of the following: sushi, tempura, temaki, or yakitori. Additional orders of any of these cost 100php.

Overall, its a good place to dine in especially during rainy nights like this.

Php550 per person for unli hotpot items, I got watercress, tofu, lamb meat, sukiyaki noodles, fried mozzarella balls, lobster balls, crab sticks, in miso soup.

Inclusive in the per person rate is one free sushi item we got salmon sashimi and I ate them all. Thank you sister.

Salad bar was cute but tasty Caesar dressing I must say.

Recent discovery, soupy stuff bores me but it was yummy, just not my kind of dining.

Not happy at all. Sure, there's 1 round of free appetizer (like tempura, gyoza, etc.) but overall, I'm not happy. I like shabu-shabu but I guess eat-all-you-can is just too much. Also, their service sucks. The servers are grumpy, not at all friendly. When you ask for something, it takes a while. Sometimes we had to ask not just twice, but thrice or even more for something before they'd give it to us. Regarding the food, I was stuffed but not satisfied, even a bit. Their dessert are not special. Just limited choices of fruits, pastries/sweets & ice cream. Not going back to this place again.

We tried this new eat all you Japanese shabu shabu... 1 round for the ala carte tempura is a must try then the rest is unlimited... mozarella cheese balls (the bomb- cheese oozes be careful), beef with golden mushrooms, shrimp wanton, prawns, crab claws balls, japanese chikuea, singaporean fish ball ( not good), lobster balls, watercrest, polonchay, dolphin meat ( pork slices) lamb strip, beef fat strips, the soup base varies from satay, pork bones, et al and the dessert selection mostly fruits and mocha mousse- the best and of course BIG SCOOP ice cream.... my favorite ice cream brand dont forget to try the toasted sesame seed flavor! Ambiance is impressive but im not impressed with the service or maybe we were seated at the corner that can hardly be seen by the waiters if we need soup refills or water we need to exert effort to be see or maybe they we undermanned because its Monday... but we were there to try the food... we left with a #happytummy 128556

From the same group that brought us Yakimix, Buffet 101 and King one Rotary hotpot comes Tenka Japanese Shabu Shabu 128522

Fairly large place, nice cozy interiors. @688 per person on weekends... They serve the usual beef, pork , lamb, shrimp etc... Not much difference from King One, Each person is entitled to an order from their ala carte menu which consists of Salmon or tuna sashimi (about 5 slices) or Gyoza, tempura etc. There's also a forgettable salad bar, dessert corner and unlimited Big Scoop ice cream.

Food is okay... typical Shabu buffet fare, the service was terrible though, don't know if they're still getting their groove on since they're fairly new but everything was so slow 128545 asking for water took forever so did paying our bill... Sigh 128547

For weekends they cost 688php net. They just opened two weeks ago according to a staff a asked. They have 5-6 different soups to pick and you get to taste test which one you like. We ordered the pork bone soup and spicy Japanese soup.
