If you're not eating in one of the coveted seats right in front of the chef, then it's not worth it. I bought the salmon and dory set meal for a steal at P230. Well, I got what I paid for. It was served a bit haphazardly but I guess the presentation is the preparation done right in front of you. It was also a bit too oily. But, value for money is the key. Wherelse in the mall can you get these menu items at that price point? Case closed.

We were all hungry after being stuck in traffic for almost 2 hours. So we decided to order all three of their Teriyaki Super Bowls: Beef (180PHp), Pork (170PHp) and Chicken (160PHp). It was ok and did it's job of satisfying our hunger.

I wasn't able to take photos of chicken and beef bowls.

Teppanyaki brothers is situated in the middle of a busy food hall of SM Aura. It easily attracts consumers who wants to enjoy an interesting "watch-as-we-cook-your-food" experience. They have a simple selection of beef and chicken based dishes typically smeared in teriyaki sauce.

My husband ordered the set meal of beef (Php190) the food tastes fair enough and filling though not that special and the soup included, diluted and of course not that good. Reasonably priced and food is cook right in front of the customers.

Why did I not read the reviews here first?! 🙄

I was so intrigued by the set-up, it looked appetizing, you know, the cooking in front of you. So disappointing lang I dunno why I expected so much. Sa cashier pa lang, I ordered Teppanyaki beef (P320), the most expensive one coz I was going all in, but alas, it was not available. So I ordered Beef rice set (P190) instead. Mild chilli, I said. Upgraded to fried rice (+P15) and had Sarsi (P55) in can for drinks.

It took a while before they completed my order. The set includes miso soup, veggies and fried rice.

Miso soup - 110881108811088
Veggies - 1108811088
Beef - 110881108811088
Fried rice - 110881108811088

Everything is just ok except for the veggies. It was a bit overdone and I just didn't like margarine! The beef, I can't describe the taste but it wasn't as awesome as I'd hoped. And the chilli didn't seem mild for me, maanghang eh! Anyway, overall, I wouldn't recommend this place.

I was hoping to order the set meal with salmon but it wasn't available so I just ordered beef, shrimp & veggies a la carte.

Surprisingly, I enjoyed my orders though they didn't look appetizing 128522 Minus 1 star though for the very soggy veggies.

Cheap no frills food stall in Food on Four food court. Freshly prepared dishes right in fron of you. You will not smell cooked food after even if you are seated right in front of the grill. Cheap food but good. Must upgradr to their fried rice, really tasty!

Dont be turned-off by the amount of olive oil on the plate.. Thats there to keep the beef 'juicy and moist'.

I was surprised to have liked the premium beef set more than i expected. The beef is tender, well seasoned, and melt-in-your-mouth.

Since SM Aura has a nice and clean food court, also it has a good "aura" to eat in Teppanyaki lol. Their set up is the food will cook infront of you. Just be aware that somehow the smell will stick on your clothes afterwards. We ordered the Dory and Salmon set, Salmon and Shrimp set. Each set has rice, veggies and miso soup. Their foods were quite satisfying and I can say they are fresh. I just didn't like the veggies it was so-so. We also ordered Gyoza, the taste was just fine. Their service was so slow.

This food was surprisingly good! This tray, the dory bowl, cost P155 and was tasty and satisfying. The garlicky sauce was good, and so was the miso soup.

I was surprised how "sulit" thier melas are. The beef i had was flavourful and tender - it came with a side of veggies and fried rice for only 205. Alec C had the salmon and squid with that came with the same sides as my meal did. He said the salmon was fresh and yummy. The chefs are entertaining too.

We will definitely come back here.

Food was okay except that they dont serve japanese rice so i suggest you stick in using spoon and fork. Place is great plus you get to see them prepare your food. This is a great deal considering of its cheap price compared to eating in other japanese restaurants.

It's pretty clever of them to think of putting up a fast food teppanyaki place where the chefs do their magic in front of a long bar instead of the usual one-chef-to-a-table kind of set-up (like in Kimpura). This way, they can entertain and feed as many people as possible, and these people don't have to pay Kimpura-level prices to be able to experience it.

Nice concept.
Serving sizes, not so nice.

It was super bitin. We ordered 1 set each (beef for him, squid + salmon for me), each with Japanese fried rice, stir-fry vegetables, and miso soup. I finished up my ulam already and I still had rice left over...I was still hungry! 128532

The food was ok...the fried rice was a bit bland, and the squid was teeny tiny. 128532 But the salmon was pretty good. It cost us around 320 for the beef set and 250 for the squid set (?). I think it's a bit pricy for that serving size, though. 128532 Mas mabubusog ako sa Brasas sana.

I was delighted to see a teppanyaki stand inside an SM food court. I immediately checked their menu and got excited to order! They have various sets that comes with miso soup, fried rice, and mixed veggies!

We ordered a Beef set and a Salmon & Dory set. I enjoyed the fact that they cook the meat, rice, and mixed veggies in front of you. It was mouthwatering! Though not the best teppanyaki that I have tasted, their set meals are affordable (more or less 200 php depending on the set meal). The serving was reasonable and the taste was not bad. 128077

I ordered the Basic Meal G, which included a bowl of miso soup, a cup of plain rice, a small plate of mixed veggies, one small fillet of salmon, and three pieces of shrimp. My mom ordered the Basic Meal E, which included the same stuff as mine, but her viands were three pieces of shrimp and a small dory fillet. My dad ordered the Basic Meal B, which also included the basic meal stuff, but his viand is only a small plate of spicy beef strips.

I've been itching to try this small joint cos i wanted to watch the crew cook our meals in front of our seats while doing some tricks with their cooking utensils. Plus, i thought their servings would be hefty cos that's how the pictures show it to be. Well, i got the chance to see the crew cook our meals. But to my dismay, the portions were too small. I didnt even burp after eating my order. My shrimps and salmon lacked flavor too. While my veggies seemed to have soaked all the seasoning cos it was a tad too salty for my palate (my mom kindda commented that, too, while we were eating). And i think its also a bit too pricey for the meal. The crew were all very accommodating, polite, and patient. And that's the joint's salvation point.

Eat fried rice only when patient. Ate here twice and cooking time for fried rice takes so long to prepare.

Topped off a very spontaneous shopping trip with a very late lunch at Teppanyaki Brothers. The set-up is quite interesting. It is in the middle of SM Aura's Food on Four (food court), but they still manage to stay true to their teppanyaki style by allotting customers to sit by the grill and cooking the food right in front of them. If there is no more space around the grill, you can sit anywhere in the spacious food court and they'll give you a buzzer to let you know when your food is ready for pick up.

My friend and I each ordered the Chicken Set (Php 180) at the recommendation of the friendly cashier. I was a bit unsure if I wanted it with chili because she said that on a scale of 1-10, their chili hits 10. While I love spicy food, my stomach won't be able to handle extreme spice levels, so she offered to serve it on the side instead. I also paid for a bottle of water (Php 35).

The food was served one by one, starting with the miso soup. I don't usually drink miso soup because it feels heavy on the tummy, but since I hadn't eaten since morning, I decided to eat it while waiting for the rest of my meal. It tasted like regular miso soup. Miso soup tastes the same almost anywhere. I don't think you can really mess it up.

The rice came next. For an additional fee (Php 35 if I'm not mistaken), they can cook it as fried rice, but I passed on that and opted for plain rice instead. The stir-fried vegetables were hefty and healthy, and my friend hoped they'd offer to serve unlimited servings of it. Actually, that doesn't sound too bad an idea. It was good. The vegetables were really fresh, and I wouldn't mind having more of it.

Then they served the chicken, which was quite disappointing. The pieces were small, and they're very bland. The sauce just doesn't stick to it. Also, the sauce tasted like adobo to me, except I like my maid's version much better. Oh, and my chili on the side wasn't served anymore. I didn't bother asking for it either since I only realized they'd forgotten about it when I was close to finishing my food already.

Is it "sulit" at Php 180? Yes and no. Yes, because I got full after eating. I didn't even finish my vegetables (I gave it to my friend because she loved it so much) and my rice. No, because the taste was disappointing, and I may have probably enjoyed a chicken meal at the same price elsewhere. Would I come back? Meh. Pwede naman, but not really looking forward to it.

What a great way to satisfy myself and my hubby's tummy with Japanese food!

After attending mass in Aura last week, we went to food Court to have dinner. This caught our attention...Cooking food in front of the customers...not to mention that it's really really good! We both enjoyed the two dishes we ordered.

That's Salmon and Squid for hubby, and Beef for me. Both were served with a bowl of white rice, Veggie coleslaw and soup which i find very enticing and appealing! The Salmon was delicious, fresh, grilled and is intentionally bland for everyones tastebuds. There is available salt and pepper on the table to create your own flavor. Squid on the other hand is superb when dipped with the cream sauce they provided!

It's just good that we were there early before all the people from the church arrives. They only have few seats available in front of the circular table otherwise, you'll enjoy it less dining at the food court tables around.
