I usually love Terriyaki Boy.
This time No.
Got there for a late dinner so we were hungry but we left , full yes , satisfied , No.

Ebi tempura, we didn't even finish it , 2 left from a 5 piece order tasted really bland for some reason .

Chicken terriyaki ramen , it was served hot , which was good but the chicken looked like leftovers :-(
Ate the noodles , some chicken was left

Tofu steak , the mushroom tasted funky
But the tofu was good but also ddn't finish .
They put too much of that topping that turned into an unappetizing mush .
My son had wagyu rice which he said was good and a deep fried crunchy something which wad also ok daw .

And we were trained to finish the food on our plates, in this case, the food you order

We didn't even take out the leftovers .
Didn't feel like eating that Again .

Place was nice but their food is not really amazing. Their food tastes blank, all we ordered but still filled my belly :)

Had dinner here yesterday evening (8/6/2013) ordered their Sukiyaki Beef Teppanyaki (P165), Philadephia Cheese Roll (P191) and gohan (P94).

Really enjoyed their Sukiyaki Beef that i had more than what i should have consumed. The Philadelphia Cheese Roll was very good too. I just had to stop eating as i was already beyond what i was supposed to eat.

Their free Barley Tea was a perfect partner to gulp down the food. Service was friendly, fast and efficient.

I love japanese food! But i didn't like Teriyaki Boy. My first visit to this resto wasn't satisfactory but then I decided to give it another shot. Again, i am upset. Food is either too salty, too dull, or just alright. I'm not sure if I'm going back there anymore. Bummer.
