Went here last November 29,2017 with Mom Elaine P and my son Latrell Joshua L to have our late lunch before watching the UAAP game 2 ADMU vs DLSU At Araneta.

We had hard time finding resto because you can see most of the people in Araneta wearing Blue 128153and Green 128154 , resto there was full , and we end up here at Teriyaki Boy.

First we seated near window and it’s very hot then we transfer to another seat and then we ordered , the service was a bit slow that we end up eating faster coz will be late for the game .

Loved the food but not the service

Spent my Sarurday afternoon at Gateway with Cherrie and Ziggy.

We had the cheese gyoza, tuna tartare, tofu steak and the teriyaki chicken...all good!

I remember the tofu steak to be different, but we still liked it.

My grandson gave the teriyaki a “thumbs up”! 128515

Service was very friendly and alert.

Had a quick catchup with a college friend on a weekend and we decided to have dinner here at Teriyaki Boy. She said she’s trying to skip rice for the longest time so she just had Yakisoba. Stir-fried thin noodles mixed with pork strips, fish cake, shiitake mushrooms, and mixed veggies topped with crunchy tempura, and nori flakes. Little did she know that the serving would be that big, so she asked me if I could help her out. It’s good although a little greasy but really flavorful.

I had their special Teriyaki Boy Chicken; boneless chicken marinated with their very own special sauce. Gotta love the sweet and savory taste of the chicken that’s best to pair with the Yakimeshi - Japanes fried rice with veggies and ground pork. Great medley of flavors!

Service has been exceptional although we needed to follow-up twice everytime we asked for water. Lol. Nonetheless, this deserves a 4-star rating!

Had lunch here yesterday as I was craving for Katsu. Outside they have a sign saying "Please wait to be seated" so I waited for like about 3-5 minutes and no one came to assist me. It wasn't busy so I don't understand, so I just went inside and picked a table.

Placed my order: Tonkatsu (245php) and plain rice. The staff who got my order seems like she's having a bad day. She's just not friendly at all!

| The food was okay, katsu was tender and flavorful. 128513

The service was the deal breaker.

Got a little lazy today to prepare for dinner, so I decided to have some Dynamite Rolls and Miso Soup. Nothing really special about the Dynamite Rolls. It was spicy enough but I feel it was lacking personality, overall. 128529 I should've stuck with my favorite which is tofu steak!

We decided to eat here after watching Train to Busan. Ordered Tonkatsu, chasu ramen (mali ata spelling), gyoza and the bento. We were so full and enjoyed everything except for the ramen as I always like my ramen to be tantanmen like. Picture is an aftermath.

The meals are getting smaller and smaller. The tuna tartare is our favorite. It has big servings like a mountain shaped when served, then they cost cut and made it smaller, but they didn't stop there, we just went here yesterday, and the tuna tartare is SO SMALL SO SMALLERRRR. I won't recommend this to anyone, anymore :(

Not attentive and welcoming staff. They won't welcome you when you get in, they won't assist you too. It's weird. Whatever happened to the old teriyaki boy I know. The servings changed too. I kept hearing it everywhere that the servings got smaller and smaller, now I witnessed it when I ate here.

Some servers are snobbish. If you call them it's like they're pissed they saw you, it's sad. The prices are just the same, affordable but serving sizes changed so much

This place is sad. The servings size of tuna tartare is ridiculously smaller. I've been here for countless of times, I witness how every meal go smaller and smaller. It's freaking annoying and funny. They used to serve big amounts of full tartare in one plate, like a mountain of it. now it's small like a 1 cup. SMH The service is fast, the servers are nice but there's no uniqueness, they're just doing there job kind of service. But yeah the bill and meals are fast. The place is clean, fly free, no insects etc.

We tried T-Boy's summer set for only P379. This already includes Chicken Rice Bowl, Katsudon Rice Bowl, Natsu Maki and 2 glasses of Iced Tea, which you can upgrade to bottomless iced tea or shakes by just adding a few bucks.

Aside from its affordability, what I also appreciate is its taste. Everything is good! You got to try it now since T-Boy offers summer set until June 9 only.

Aside from the summer set, a must order for me when I'm in a Japanese resto is their Sukiyaki.

I'm kinda disappointed with T-Boys' sukiyaki. The taste is likewise good but I find it expensive for a very small serving which I think is good for 1pax only.

Going back? Still a YES!

Lunch date with Cherrie!

Whenever at a teriyaki boy, we always order tofu steak...a family favorite.

We also had gyuniku teriyaki, a dragon sushi and mango tempura w/ ice cream for dessert. Would not mind getting these again. 128515

Work is very near here, but I've never explored Gateway...hmmm. I should get out more often. 128515

Teriyaki Boy used to be really good until a fee years ago. My favorites were the Philly Cheese Steak Roll, Suki Beef Don (rice topping), and Matcha Jelly.

The mango dessert tasted horrible, as well as the Yakisoba. I'll never order those again. I am really disappointed at the quality of the food.

And to think I recommended people to eat here.

Loved the Tuna Sashimi (PHP211) and of course, the Tempura Tuna Tartare (PHP155) ! But most of all, the Philly Cheesesteak Roll (PHP191). Altho the latter one took several minutes to prepare. But still! It was delicious!
