Tokyo Tokyo's Karaage tasted better. Service was a little bit slow.

Japanese food will always be my comfort food... even though the salmon sashimi looks anemic 128514. My family and I ordered the ebi tempura bento and the sukiyaki beef teppanyaki don which are all good for sharing. Teriyaki boy will always be the best fastfood-ish resto for my japanese food cravings. Their ebi tempura really tastes authentic 128076🏼

I ordered udon, gyoza and maki for delivery from Teriyaki Boy the other day. It was delayed 'cause the delivery person got caught up with an officer, I think. Someone called to inform me about the situation. I think that's very considerate. Despite being late, the food was still warm when it arrived. 128077

Okay food, okay but slow service. I came alone and I was the only customer and it was still really slow but I'd still come back to get my Jap food fix.

We were checked in at Sofitel when the family decided to go out and have lunch at Harbour Square. This is one of the most decent restaurant choices, hence this review.

At 12 pm, the place was packed! We were initially seated on the far end of the resto that we could not feel the comforts of the AC :(( The manager gladly accommodated our request to transfer to a cooler area when a few tables became available. However, it was still so hot! Grrrrr. Oh, summer in the Philippines!

Now, the food. We ordered Sukiyaki Beef Teppanyaki, Katsudon, Chicken Teriyaki Ramen and Chikuwa Rolls. PLUS the glorious mango shake!! Lol. As I was too hungry that time, I found the food pwede na. I enjoyed my Teppanyaki and my husband seemed to have liked his Katsudon too. My son finished his ramen too. But I think Teriyaki Boy was way better before. I don't know. Parang fastfood na lang kase ang peg ng food nila ngayon, if you know what I mean. Must be the different Japanese restos spurting out...

The best part of this experience was the Mango Shake! The best way to beat the summer heat!

After watching Cinemalaya, we headed to Harbor Square for dinner. We didn't know what we wanted to eat. We ended up at Teriyaki Boy. My usual order here is the Sukiyaki Beef. But since, I didn't want to eat rice cause it was kinda late. I had Chuuka Ramen. Not bad. But I do prefer authentic Japanese.... Heehee :)

Since shopping was our agenda that day, my girlies and I decided to be cheapskates on food last Saturday. 128514

Harbor Square was along the way, and among the establisments there, Teriyaki Boy got the unanimous vote.

We ordered a plate of California Roll of 8 pieces, Teriyaki Boy Chicken and Tempura Tuna Sashimi Tartare. Simple as that. 128513

Frankly speaking, I found these dishes just OK, I still prefer Omakase! Especially the Spicy Tuna Salad over the Tempura Tuna Sashimi Tartare! 128525

My typical order here are california maki and frozen yogurt, never tried their rice meals or anything. It was my first time to try their rice bowl,Sukiyaki beef teppanyaki don.At first it was ok, tama lang pantawid gutom,I never had the chance to finish my meal, the oiiiilllll(umay)128532. Though they served our order fast, and crews are accomodating, maybe because we were the only customer that time.
P.S I'll be glad if you guys can give me an advice on what to order here next time.128522

after a twilight run around ccp, my friends and i grabbed light dinner in harbour square. the agedashi tofu starter was nothing special but we were definitely pleased with the dynamite roll (still not my level spicy but it packed some surprising heat) and tori karaage (tasted like their version of buffalo wings - complete with ranch sauce). the yogato was the same as what you can find in panckage house - gurts.

the only major downsides were to get warm water, you have to ask for hot water (say warm water and you will get room temp water) and the toilet, unusable. had to go to the nearby starbucks to go number one without losing yoir dinner. hope they do something about that.
