128073 no menu given (unless you ask)
128073 orders were late
128073 appetizer was served late (main dish was served first before the appetizer 128513 seriously?)

Will never go back here.

Unlike other Jap resto's, I don't exactly know what this place's identity is.

Very limited sushi and sashimi selection.
Slightly more options on everything else but nothing spectacular.

I ordered some california maki and i promise not to do that again. Way too much rice.

I got some yakisoba too. Dont know why they put a lot of tempura flakes.

Had my first dinner with officemates last night at Teriyaki Boy, one of our bosses' treat! Ordered their Chicken Ju. I must say, it wasn't bad. Chicken was tender enough and the sauce was delicious.

Service is slow. Ordinary. Good thing philly roll is on the menu as it is my personal favourite of all maki.

I was craving for salmon during work. I made myself crave more by searching using looloo (naks winner over munchpunch helping google search rating!) to search for nearby Japanese restos. Then looking at the menus.

Omakase was out of the question since I was wearing 4 inch heels and never bring flats to work, therefore I didn't want to walk that far.

So I went for T-boy. てりやきボーイ!!

The menu on both Looloo and munchpunch (i needed to verify) for this branch both said they had salmon salad. Therefore, I decided to get that and Philly cheese and steak roll.

So I called them and ordered for pickup.

Lo and behold when I got there, salmon salad was not available on their menu. In fact, the branch's menu was limited as compared to the menus online.

My frustration was, why didn't the girl who got my orders on the phone tell me so.

I was meaning for a quick pick up then go back to work. But no, since I really wanted salmon and they didn't have, I went for its cheeper alternative tuna tartare, which took 15 mins of my life.

Thankfully, I wasn't disappointed with the Tuna. I was sad with the roll. Last time I tasted this, maybe 3 to 4 years ago, it felt, tasted, smelled, and looked incredible. Now, I am starting to question my younger self's taste. Improved palate or deterioration of quality?

As a last message, I'm just sad that my craving is half satisfied.

P.S. This is totally not related but I need to share. JYJ is coming to PH!!! aaaah Boracay sometime in Nov 26-30. Aaaaaah! ok that's all *bow*

Katsudon for Php175. 9786

Not so good... but not bad either. 128527

If you want something better, though, Omakase's just across the street. LOL. 128539

I would've done so if it weren't too hot this afternoon! HAHA! 99969996

When i want a quick fix of a tuna tartare craving, I come here because it is near my office and it is cheaper than other japanese restaurant. Taste is decent but not exceptional and price is reasonable.

Plus 128077: not too expensive, food was served fast, has free wifi
Minus 128078: other food on the menu are not as flavorful as one would expect them to be--most are so-so tasting

Must try 128076: tartare, philadelphia roll

I ordered Oyako Don and all I wanted was to put the entire bottle of soy sauce to it. Guess I picked the wrong dish. Beware of flying cockroaches- we saw one on the table behind us.

Their signature chicken teriyaki were pre-cooked and must be sitting in the open for sometime. The meat was tough and discolored as there's no moisture left in there. I asked for it to be replaced and I got a replacement in a matter of minutes. How hard is it to grill a boneless chicken on order?!?

Teriyaki Boy is known all over and it so happened that me and boyfie were so hungry and we wanted to try something new.

• PLACE
- Authentic Japanese Theme

• SERVICE
- Boom! They're terrible. Veeeeeryyyyy Slow! From the time we come inside up to the point that we left! 128078128078128078

• PRICE
- The price is reasonable. But with that kind of food? Tsss..

• FOOD
- We ate the one on the photo. I'm sorry I can't remember the name anymore. But one thing I do remember. The food is tasteless. I just felt that we wasted money for a food like that. I don't know if there's just something wrong with the food that we ordered or whatsoever. Any suggestion? 128532
